that co-worker is a real ball-bag, hang in there Ray
Rainman!!!! Thank you for the video! Your a good honest wrench! Just repaired a hack shop's mess on a 06 3.5 lifters, pushrods, upper and lower intake! Keep up the good work and helping the at home garage mechanics! Joe Riv
you must be the only mechanic that actually works
Don’t know how much, if at all, your coworkers’ vocals bother people watching but I don’t find them annoying at all. It’s just more background noise that doesn’t interfere with understanding you or even hearing “clicks”. You make great videos and I love tuning in daily.
I have a question if you dont mind, is it only certain cars where the gap between the valve 'top's (sorry the names just flew out of my ear where my brain should be) and the 'spring's in order for it to keep it from losing any of its horsepower? I'm only asking because I saw it on a TV car programme and it was an older car that didnt have all of its horsepower so he measured the gap between the valve parts and set them to the make & models specified mm (I think this one was 3mm)?
Why would your boss allow such an obnoxious volume?
The guy who doesn't like you making videos, is probably too embarrassed to show his lack of skills. Keep it up, I've been in the game for 15yrs and I learn something new everytime I watched one of your videos
Is that a GM or Honda engine?
Your patience is breathtaking….Hats off to you sir!
The capital of Thailand is "T", right?
Use those worthless flare nut wrenches to thread that split loom.
My husband looks at me funny because I watch this channel, I only know little about making vehicles zoom, (I am very good at complaining and freaking out about the smallest little noises though heh) I really enjoy the channel though, and I watch an episode almost every night. Sorry the co-worker is a butt, he should shut it because if I weren't in Alaska I'd be coming to the shop there for sure 🙂
I use to own a 74 Olds Cutlass Supreme-Rocket 350 engine that had over 150,00 on engine and never had a wrench on engine other than Water Pump, Points and Condenser–everything on engine was designed with great engineering including Oil Filter that hung straight down-back end of engine. It got 21 mpg on highway, much better car than anything designed today…
I have noticed that most Japanese cars-Toyota and Lexus for example have Solid Lifters, why are they not like most American cars using Hydraulic Lifters-Solid Lifters have to be periodically adjusted like every 50,000 miles…
who is the troll? It can't be peter him and ray are buds I thought.
Ray, are the after market seals of better quality?
Most excellent… Now take 3 hours to reload toolbox…
Bass akwards…thought you mentioned Ed Bassmaster…swollen car episode.
That guy keeps calling from Thailand.
Alternator… Thought you meant Ralph Nader
Opps bolts from engine bay 3
Least they let you work on it inside.
Ray…that's not steel…its Gm Gold.
Plastic pushrods save fuel.
I can understand why bolts and nuts inside the
"I'm actually looking at the camera because I can't see the hole."
I tried that one, but she still said no.
Why new bolts for lower intake manifold?
Ray, why did the intake manifold bolts need replaced?
Jesus, what is wrong with your co workers? I like your style and the way you handle them. Keep on the good work and i enjoy watching you everyday 🙂
Not an O ring anymore- it's a U "RING"..
Whenever I do a big job like this one, I use sandwich bags and a sharpie to keep all my bolts together. I second guess myself alot!!
Some of the stuff peter does Concerns me about his ability to fix cars
Exactly as Pop-ll Fixit said earlier. I'm cringing and yelling "Ray ,it's plastic, it's plastic" but did Ray listen? Great video mate and I love your honesty, you make me feel better about all the stuff ups that I made over the years. Cheers from Australia. Robert
Cooking on gas 👍👍👍👋👍🇬🇧MANCHESTER ENGLAND 🇬🇧🇺🇦
Dude I freaking died when you bottomed out that bolt when forgetting the bracket..lmao.."click"…😂😂😂😂
Dont mix up the push rods. You'll have a conflict of valve use
Maybe that jerk can have a surprise industrial accident 💀
Keep doing what you’re doing I like watching your show I appreciate it very much Nelson from The Bronx yes from the Bronx watches you I enjoy it very much bring back memories when I was 15
I am retired from UPS and I understand where you’re coming from no I’m not the driver I worked in the warehouse and I know how it is how they try to get on your skin I’ll get you fired or make you lose your hair but I learn in life enjoy it to the maximum you know you’re right and you know they have a problem and that’s their problem not yours so always keep your head up and keep shining I enjoy watching you very much your money back in the days when I was 15 and I was mechanics apprentice and he taught me a lot of things
Great work
Would you rather use a tongue torque wrench wirklich torque wrench
Ray,where's the Indian head gasket sealer dude?Yes I'm an old dick.
Check the difference of the torque between the use of the extension and not using the torque wrench on a lug nut. I'm interested to know if you lose or gain any foot pounds on a torque. It would only take you 30 seconds to do it
Oh no thank you dude, I'm enjoying this mini-series immensely, learning and checking engine tech. that was unknown to me, until this day
Should have replace the o-ring seal on the oil pump drive
