I understand not using old cotter pins, throw them away, and use a nail, and don't forget to bend it over!
"Stop not working"🤣
Story of my life!
It’s very honda looking
I just caught myself doodle doodle doing with the phone 😂
Regular combination plyers tips straight onto a 3 prong hose clamp works great and don't slip off.
Thanks for your videos. I learn a lot.
I always used a cardboard box with 16 holes in it, all numbered. Stick each pushrod in each hole
No room for Rust on this car, Grease has Coated Everything-whole front assembly would make it through several winters up north with little worry…
I don’t know if anyone else agrees, but you sir, are NOT a mechanic, you are an automotive artist!
Thourough:) damn what a mess.
I read in an old western book how long pipes with wide mouth at the top of a mountain were filled with water and the pipes got narrower at the bottom and the psi created washed away the mountain.
FYI
GravityLight was a gravity-powered lamp manufactured until 2019. It was designed by the company Deciwatt for use in developing or third-world nations, as a replacement for kerosene lamps. It uses a bag filled with rocks or earth, attached to a cord, which slowly descends similar to the weight drive in a cuckoo clock.
You found that mosquito…
Excuse…we found a plastic dip stick out on the street .
You blew all the rubber off the windshield wipers.
Talks to much
Brake parts cleaner can be very dangerous if it is the non flammable kind, they use chlorine as and active ingredient that can cause problems when inhaled. So be aware
Blood sugar ain't no joke. I'll be really off, not thinking straight, pissed off easily. Grab some OJ and peanut butter crackers and I'm a different person.
Love the rammstein playing in the background
How do you remember where all the bolts go back? When I do jobs like this I have to label everything. You got a much better memory than me. Great video.
I have to do this job on my 06 Monte Carlo with the 3.9L V6 and I'm not looking forward to it at all because of that back side.
Your videos are awesome. You have fun at work!! I believe work is more enjoyable when you have fun
That talking hand is a great mechanic.
there is another 2 bolts in the back? that's acceptable grammar right?
With an impact wrench and an assortment of pry bars, I could have been a mechanic!
end nippers work fantastic on those 3 prong spring clamps
Reeeeeeee you left the intake ports wide open. Yikes!
I'm laughing my ass off about the 3 prong hose clamps right before you said nothing works well on them I said the exact same thing. They're horrible horrible connectors they indent onto the hose and when you try to remove them that indent stop you from simply pulling them straight back and they always pop off if you shift the grip
So glad that there are a second video. These GM engines and systems a re designed like ass. As a no-mechanic-at-all I enjoyed this every min. immensely; thanks a bunch. Going to watch the 3rd video. Cheers
How unfortunate that GM chose to not use the Honda engines in these.
Linesman pliers usually work on those spring clamps.
Pretty thorough at what you do bro….and most of all your a honest mechanic by the looks of it.
this video is fake, no one has a 10mm socket, sheesh lol
otherwise good content man, ive been binge watching your vids, keep up the good work
Good stuff Ray !
Ray, I'm about to do this same work on my wife's van. If I get it done without any problems and by following your example, I swear I'm going to find a way to ship you some beer or something.
What kind of gasket scrapers were those?
good job dude!!!
Love the program Rainman Ray , Been wrenching for a few decades. You got too eat brother , that feist or fammine diet will get you in a heap of medical trouble.
Ray, I'm from the future. Look out for the hose fitting on the intake – don't brake it man!
Duck bill pliers work well on those tension clamps. I use them on my Toyotas.
That's a p*ss poor design on that engen, I've had more that one to come into the shop with coffee with creamer in the block.
I know I wouldn't tell you what I think of your job don't have the knowledge to do that may ask questions about what you're doing to learn sad that people are like that get on your case
You want a comment? I want an oil bath – but by a beautiful blond female.
I have had a few of those distributor adapter o rings leak. You do a great job. Keep the videos coming. After 47 years I still enjoy occasionally getting my hands dirty.
Most of that brake cleaner will evaporate before it hit the oil pan when you blow air on it it dries fast almost immediately.
Why are the push rods interleaved with the gasket? I can't think of a single reason to design it that way.
Do they even make Saturns anymore?
