Wild. Do they live near saltwater? Or drive in saltwater? I'd never buy this used.
I've never seen or heard of a mechanic just letting something like brake fluid just piss everywhere – especially not over a wheel with fancy schamcy paint on it. That stuff is the whizz of the Devil…
Those new parts are ruining the patina of the underside of the car…….
That much rust you should ship the Car to Eric O.
🤔🙄😳😂
Did Eric O send one from New York cause he was fed up with the rusty and crusty….lol Enjoy your video content

Please tell me you have been using brake grease since this posted. I enjoy the content.
If that car isn't already rusty enough, Ray goes and splashes brake fluid all over it also! 🤣
That FJ must've been driven in a rust belt area. That must NEVER happens in Southern California.
OMG, you have me doodly Doodly Doo every time that phone rings!
I have legit question why were you prying on the rotor on the rear trying to make it move it doesn't move the brakes do
That vehicle was empty (had no gas) ⛽. Good thing you didn't go far.🤣
Those brakes will last longer than the chassis
Dam is all that rust on frame from driving thru salt water .
If you do alot of offroading it pays to pull the pads out and clean and lube the pins again once a month.
It would never pass for a warrant of fitness in NEW ZEALAND with that much rust underneath, it would be red stickered and scrapped
That vehicle needs a date with a few cans of POR15 before it turns into dust.
Somebody drives their FJ in the ocean!
Gotta love it I work at a tire shop in Southern Maryland and this what everyone's vehicles look like 🤣🤣
Toyotas are rust buckets love them but hate the fact they really have no protection underneath
the rest is also gone
Never use force, just a little persuasion!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me mercedes 79 280sl…by using brake pedal to bleed master it failed.. and mb states to remove air.. level car hit all lines rubber mallet.. book says to remove air pedal soft..even after bench bleeding master 2 times. Book also states to just let car leak fluid all nite to remove air.. but after air out poweer bleeder 25 minutes done.. longer to takes longer to take wheels off and on..
You need a motive power bleeder silly… this makes you look unprofessional… i make lots of adapters… never need assistance.. plus hoses with container to catch fluid… why make a mess needlessly… your silly today.. but that's ok…
Either a Northern vehicle, or too much beach driving…
Would like it if you added prices for parts and labour
3 Wiper blades. Never thought of that…
Whatcha some kind of dirty animal letting your calipers just piss all over the floor? You couldn't find a piece of clear tubing and a coffee can like a gentleman?
That's one rusted rear axle.
That would of been a good idea to put a hose on the end so you get break fluid in a can instead of on the floor
That makes me appreciate living in an area where vehicles don't rust like that. My 8 year old pickup still looks like new underneath.
I'm wondering how do this rusty cars pass the regular technical inspection tests? In Europe If your car is rusty, your not getting a pass on the TüV and your not allowed to drive it anymore… Mind-blowing how one can drive something like that and not have his/her's adrenaline spike to the sky…
Didn't the original have springs top and bottom?
I like them too.
i think i need a tetanus shot.
Never seen a seal puller used as a pry bar before. Or better a drift punch used as a wedge. Heck you even jammed one of the punches used as a driving tool. You tighten bolts until the socket slides off 😂 I've never seen tools used quite this way before. I'd be scared to be a tool in your box 😜 bleeding brakes onto a finished tile floor to make a slip and slide was a nice finishing touch. I laughed so hard it hurt 😋
My Friend, rusty, rusty car, isn't it possible to this car ro break apart by all this rust?
Nice job dude but look at all the patina underneath that thing! W.T.F they need to see Chris at Inwood customs and get a complete undercoating!
That's not shit try working as a mechanic in vermont.
You certainly got you daily recommended amount of iron in your lungs that day. SHEESH!!!
I'm confused as to why you don't clean up the hub area once the old caliper and discs are off? It takes seconds with a pneumatic descaler and/or a coarse wire brush.
A quick splash of paint and it's good for a couple more years, and nicer to work on next go around.
FJ versus Jeep, both good in theory but Toyoda charges 100k USD for an FJ. The condition of the underside of that FJ is 100 percent cringe. :/
love the window sticker
I live in the far North of England where its always cold even in summer, during the winter from October to April the roads are covered in Rock Salt to stop them freezing over so we are used to stuff like brakes seizing up solid. I would have pumped the pedal once the pads were out to expose the pistons as pushing them in just jams them up with all the crap on them, clean the pins up and them a light coat of copper grease, no one here replaces stuff like this, Repair and fettle unless the are broken in Two.
Ray got to see what mr o goes through all the time 😉
I have a feeling this one saw some regular salt and wasn't cleaned properly…. the amount of rust on the bottom half ov every component is astonishing and sad, really…
Looks like a PA car. And what , you FL. guys don't use gas. All your cars have no gas?
This FJ looks like it's spent time up here in the salted frozen tundra of the upper midwest. Also, I can imagine the jokes with the transit system being called SCAT.
Great job with the used boot mat. Money is tight
