Glad i was here
I've watched a few videos of yours were you wash the engine.. I've always had too much anxiety to do such, because I was told by a shop teacher if the engine is warm it can crack the block. Also I have anxiety about water getting into some sort of electronics/electric connecter/alternator and mess something up. Could you either comment or make a video about engine bay washing? Like things maybe you should cover or avoid spraying or just any good info? Thanks
Tappy tap
King Super Duty thank you have a good day
Good job you can do my truck any day
Like the majority of your videos, the title misrepresents what is in the video.
You just haven’t found the right projectiles yet. If you do, though, please let me know. For science, of course.
Hello Ray I had a Ford Focus 08 and me power steering had a leek I trued that stop leak was sh t and I had no cash to fix it ford wanted 900-1300 cash so wile I saved up I used vegetable oil in it as I was empty after 15 miles got the parts on line and I cast me 100 hose and 100 in labour was ok when fixed
sorted
Why would you start the engine and create foam in the fluid? You could slightly lift the vehicle and turn the steering lock to lock and expell the air in the lines.
Good stuff
Self lubing chassis
Excellent! Whoops, gravity.
Yeah…nice fix…
No struggling with flashlight drops.
crows foot would work
Love ya Ray, but I'm ocd with having a clean and well kept car. If my car was returned after being sprayed down with water like that, no matter the good intentions of the mechanic, I'd lose my sh*t. You're an awesome mechanic, so I assume you cleaned it up off camera. But, everything covered in water spots, now creating work for me deal with, NOPE. I once went to get an oil change a few years ago (not with you guys) and they left black greasy finger prints all over the white paint, glass and tan interior. I was pissed and never returned to that shop. It took me just over an hour to get it cleaned up.
Does the red mean that it uses ATF instead of Power Steering Fluid?
Amazing video… Just amazing… Didn't know it's safe to hose down the engine…
I almost lost my engine once because of an oilpressuresensor leaking. The oil was spraying out, which I didn;t notice, and after parking the car I saw oil dripping. A new sensor was installed and I had to add 2,5 litres of oil.. Normally it contains 4 litres of engine oil, so only 1,5 litres were left in it. It was a Mazda 626 with the fabulous 1.8 engine. The engine was still ok, I have run it for a few years after this
And no water entered any of the electronic modules
You do all quality work. Then use cheap ass auto zone fluids and cheap filters
you steered in the right direction
Try pouring fluids with the spout on top. Just a thought.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👀
"THX Certified"- thats something that certainly have lost its meaning in the past 15 years (or so).
Very Good.
It's to prevent you from injecting yourself with a single point direct stream of air.
What is the country of origin for your Blowgun ?? The Brazilian rainforest ??
I'm surprised that pump didn't die after being driven dry like that. Probably shortened its lifespan though.
No comment they frown on that…not that thats never been done…
The Dred sound effect when FHP rolled by was a nice touch.
Ray, thanks for the beautiful work you do for us! We appreciate it.
I will lwt you to work on my car but, before you do so,, I will as well make sure the garage water pump is disconnected so, no water available to rince off my engine 😂💦😁☺️☺️☺️
I do believe that the cap to the Power Steering fluid bottle was left on the strut tower when the hood closed. No Biggy just an observation.
How much extra time does it take to set up all the special camera shots? They do make the video more interesting I must admit.
The airgun uses the Coanda effect to wrap the air blast around the bullet shape, to prevent air injection sub-cutaneously.
I was really hoping that you would have looked into the sqeaking steering column. Our 2013 Taurus has the same issue and I don't know what the fix is.
RAY I AND MANY MORE PEOPLE THINK YOUR A AWSOME PERSON AND MECHANIC. AND YOUR VIDEOS ARE 📹 GREAT ALWAYS 👍 👌
Could do with more doo dee Doo dee Doo action 😁
Exactly why that air nozzle made the way it was. We use to shoot all kinds of stuff out of an air nozzle. No one was ever hurt besides ego.
Excellent 👍🇺🇸
cant inject air into or under your skin and limits pressure to 30 pounds. Amazon sells a nice gun that's not restricted but it's not Osha approved for use in a business setting. only home use.
Good job.
Pls use a funnel….
had the same problem with my AU2 Ford Ute ……..had to drop the damn steering rack to remove / replace the pressure switch ……..oh what fun that was
Please use funnel.
Not a Master O-ring kit. The master kit contains all the parts to make custom O-rings
they should be glad it wasn't the brake switch to shutoff the cruise control that burned down a lot of Ferd vehicles (and a some structures) a few years back.
Wow not the water hose🤦♂️🤷♂️ I'd love to have you has my mechanic but not my detail man. Lol 😆 😆 😆
Regarding the air nozzle, I was on a construction job and an apprentice went to “goose” another tradesman with a commercial trailer compressor and sent the man to the hospital with ruptured bowels and all the complications that causes. He almost died. OSHA is a lowest-common-denominator type organization.
the purpose of multiple holes above tip of air gun nozzle is to prevent injury in or onto skin of person. If tip is inadvertently held directly on skin, the air pressure won't cause said injury, as per OSHA regulation.
