The stopleak is probably keeping combustion gasses from leaking into the radiator it's fucked I guarantee it

As I said on the other video, the life expectancy of this engine is so short, you couldn't have made it worse by dumping a bag of kitty litter in that intake manifold.
Isn't radiator sledging a big issue in Florida, where due to the hot climate many use just water rather than a proper coolant mix?
That would explain the overheating, but not the coolant loss.
It may have been the initial cause of overheating, that then led to the thermostat housing and head gasket failing.
Right as you said you couldn't see the sparkle in the coolant, I saw it. Does look like a little of the silver flake type. The better ones have copper. None of them are recommended.
I've been there with I guy that had an oil leak but gess what no oil leak?

I'm going to take a shot in the dark here. After adding stop leak to the system(while it still contained antifreeze) it clogged something up and at certain spots the coolant is heating up past boiling point and then exiting out the overflow drain hose. As a poor bastard that has used stop leak before, some of them work very well.. IF done right. It won't fix your car long term, but it will buy you some time. Here's the thing, I know it wasn't done right, because you shouldn't see anything in the coolant after the fact. Most of them(the ones that actually work) you have to fully drain and flush the coolant out 1st, then mix the SL with water only and fill it up, run the car for about an hour, shut it off let it cool all the way down before starting it again. Then run it for about 500 miles, before completely draining and flushing the system again, then adding antifreeze mix. All the good stop leaks will not work at all with antifreeze and will likely clump up into semi metallic goo balls and clog many important coolant passages. If you're in a bind and can't afford a head gasket change, then use a quality stop leak(it will cost 30$+) and FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
You should be able to just look at the burn on the spark plug it will tell you what you need to know

Dude I love watching your videos but sometimes it's difficult to watch because I feel like you get screwed sometimes (I don't know what your pay scale is like but you definitely go above and beyond especially considering your recording and educating people at the same time) and also there's a lot of (mostly wrongful) finger pointing from your customers but I can tell you're a good tech so keep on doing what youre doing.
Fixing a chrystler is pretty much the same as trying to revive an old BIC lighter.
Just throw it away.
i ran into a saturn a long time ago where the coolant temp sensor was reporting much lower than actual and not kicking the fans on which led to boil over condition. found it with a scan tool and a thermocouple probe in the hot side of the coolant loop. the difference was around 70 degrees and kept the engine in open loop. finally found the resistance spec at X degrees for the sensor somewhere and found it was out of spec.
don't always trust the thermistors, they can be faulty and not throw a code. i started referrencing coolant temp against outside ambient on a cold engine with a scan tool with overheat complaints from there on.
Adding just water and not a coolant lowers the boiling point and no corrosion protection or lubrication is what I was always told.🤔
I dont like when they bond the thermostate to the housing…
The earlier 2011 – 2013 Pentastar V6 They have weak oil pumps. I believe it is a bad head gasket, if there are no leaks visible anywhere it has to be going somewhere and my guess is into a cylinder and out the exhaust. Fill it with coolant and you'll probably smell it and see some smoke. The earlier Pentastar did have issues with the left side head.

Treat it as though the head gasket blew and seal the gasket by using Blue Devil head gasket sealer .
That's what my wife's Land Rover would do after her father borrowed it. The tensioner seized up and destroyed the belt about a mile from my house, but instead of stopping at my house, he kept driving another 5 miles to his house, overheating the crap out of it, killing the battery, and burning the head gasket, possibly warping/cracking the head.
Maybe leaking at intake manifold gasket from coolant passage into an intake runner, if that is possible on this motor. Had a 3.8 L Ford do that. No coolant in oil, normal compression, no overheat. Motor would miss for 30 seconds on cold startup.

Will a tailpipe gas analyzer show antifreeze in the exhaust ? If so, how will the results be different from normal?
So twice I've watched videos where you do a combustion gas test… And twice you've blown the blue stuff all over yourself… Maybe just stop squeezing the bulb and just explain instead ….

my brothers car had an issue like this all the water was gone no visible leak, no gas holding pressure ect. but did find the sinner at last. when it heatet up and water begain to boil the hose expanded and out came a nice fine spray of colant and hit the exhaust, therfore no leak to be seen and since it was a periodic spray it was just luck to be fond. try look for that next time Ray
The lifters chattering that bad could be causing it to run hotter. Also i have 4 3.6l pentastar motors i service. 2 i run 5w30 and 2 with 5w20. Both the 5w20 motors needed lifters and rockers. Both 5w30 motors have had no problems.

Rahman Ray's Repair I had a Ford Mustang that was that way. But realized after all the test I ran it turned out that every time I stepped on the gas the top water hose collapsed. Found out when I manually throttled up at the carb.
I had a similar circumstance in my own 200. The dealership replaced the oil cooler and the car was still overheating and consuming coolant. Eventually they found it was a cracked head gasket. Thankfully they also found that one of the cylinder heads was damaged in a way that warranted an extended warranty to replace that cylinder head for free which also comes with a replacement head gasket. So I was able to knock out 2 major repairs on Chryslers tab. Now I eventually just need to get some new tires and the ride balanced to get it running normally.

After my son had been on a long trip recently, I checked the coolant in his car only to find that it was very, very, low. He stated that the car had not overheated but since he's not very mechanical and I am, I was sceptical. Filled the coolant and then washed down the engine compartment as there was a lot of road dust and some oil residue. I needed a clean compartment to see if somewhere was blowing out coolant where I couldn't see. Checked the coolant every day and after a week there was only about 100ml missing BUT the back of the engine compartment was wet with coolant. Tried to get a look in there but no luck but I speculated a Welch plug. To be sure I took it off to my favourite mechanic and asked that he also do a pressure and dye test. I was right – Welch plug. Previous owner obviously didn't use correct coolant mix. Unfortunately there are a series of 5 plugs that should be replaced at the same time and the the easiest access is without the head, so that came of. Good news was that the engine looks very good and no damage visible on the gasket. Head sent off for checking and skimming. That's all being reassembled now and should get the car back this week. Ducked a blown head gasket there I think.
Drain the oil pan and if it is a coolant leak in the cylinder head coolant will come out the oil pan drain BEFORE the oil comes out. Milage??
I owned a Chrysler 200, bar none the worst vehicle I ever owned. From the fit and finish to replacing the battery, totally turned me off of Chrysler.
My ford escort kept losing coolant. Turned out to be an intake gasket leak that was sucking the coolant into the number two cylinder.

yeap i had Volkswagen beetle with same problem , replace radiator and 2 water pumps ,thermostat and hoses , nope did not fixed the problem ,so at the end sold it as is.
it may have used all the coolant prior to the headgasket fix fluid being used, just a thought.
Q: Is there any indication of contamination of the oil ?

My Trailblazer with 161K miles started losing a little coolant, just a little. I kept an eye on it and the loss increased. I make 150 mile trips every few weeks and do not want to be stranded on the hyway. I was checking the oil and looking under the hood and noticed the upper radiator hose was about half way off the the tube from the engine. I found a drop of coolent on the under side of the end of the hose. l losened the clamp and slid it back on, it was very easy to slide back on and tighened it. I never found any on the ground and was thinking head gasket. Just finished another 150 mile trip and found no drop under the hose.
