It's the size of a cruise ship. I can't fit it on a lift. The engine bay is packed super tight and I can't see anything. Time to tear it apart to get a good visual. Invasive diagnostic time!

Ray, I think I speak for all of us when I say we WANT to see you throwing wrenches. Not necessarily out of anger, but a little healthy destruction is always entertaining. LOUD NOISES!
What I have just witnessed is an excellent reason ensuring I will never buy a "Dodge" vehicle. 10/10 for patience and perceverance Ray.
i hate those type of thermostates…
Dodge…better than ANY ford😃
Used to drive one of those they are absolute pos'es
This van is engineering stupidity,no way around it.
I wish all aoto macanics were as good as you are I have a hard time trusting them to make sure that they do ìt right.
One would think with the Ridiculous amount of sensors why cant the system detect a simple leak.
I learned very, very early on not to throw tools. Working on my 1955 Chevy many, many years ago, got flustered, threw my screwdriver down, it hit the ground, bounced once, rotated, and perfectly skewered the rear fender.
Betterer, or more betterer
Ohhhhh…. So THIS is why one of my online friends HATES vans! I get it now!
Geez, it seems as if to Dodge repairs, they just RAM the parts under the hood, makes me want to Cry\sler
We should go into the fastener business, ten thousand fasteners removed to remove something held in by 4 fasteners🤣😂
Radiator pronounced as ray dee ay tr
Like your video but I detest jobs like this!
i wish you were a mechanic in my local in ogdensburg NJ you are truely a good human thanks for your fascinating work im glued to your videos, i am66 and still like to work on my own cars when i can
One more comment that why I want own a van.
They pass the job to you they you want give up like the other guy did what do you think. Good job Ray.
I could probably take all those out but I wouldn't know how to put it back together lol. It boggles my mind how you remember how things go back together
My first car at 16 years old was a 1928 Model A Ford. Cut my teeth on repairs, which compared to this Doooge, was simple as all get out. I’m no engineer, but why do engine compartments have to look like this??
I don't like promaster vans. I always end up bleeding, when i get roped into working on one. Because Dodge. Lol
Have you considered using an inspection camera al'a Harbor Freight?
The trucks get that same 3.6L
Looks like Mopar was aspiring to be European with how difficult this is to work on.
Looks my Ducato
And this is why people think mechanics try and rob them with labor. But just look what he has to strip down to find a leak. Maybe should start blaming engineers, for designing engines like this
I like to see more upper and lower ball joint repairs Jay
There was a female mechanic that would only use the 3/8 drive tools to work on vehicles. But like u rain Ray only use the 1/2 drive breaker bar to break loose stuck bolts & nuts
It is a Dodge Ugly master!!! Hideous! I owned one. Once. The absolute worst piece of garbage on wheels ever. No wonder they are the cheapest, with the lowest resale value.
I definitely understand why someone would want to pummel the designer!
Thank you for reminding me to never get that vehicle. 👌🤣🤣🤣
I worked on similar Promaster and several bolts that hold the water pump were broken. Had to remove the engine/trans to perform the proper repairs that followed.
What a difficult POS to work on. You have the patience of job
These shit box vans are designed with L4 Diesel engines on the old continent, i don't even know they stuffed a V6 inside for the US market. I like your content a lot, thanks for that buddy.
My back is killing me from bending over that engine bay.
looks like a fiat ducato its sold as in europe
You are a master, and you will be seeing one of my vehicles when it needs help, not that im hoping it breaks lol. Maybe I'll just stop by and bring you some coffee or lunch lol id love to meet u in person. Keep up the awesome work!
if you are replacing the lower hose why not cut a hole in it to drain the coolant??????
HOLY CRAP! what a pant load of fasteners?!!!
Can't you pressurize the coolant system a bit to force leakage?
It's geman…. or not…? LOL
what a cluster.. did they start with an engine and build around it?
What a shit design! Freaking engineers have not a clue to whats involved in replacing a consumable part such as a water pump!
Do you know if that 3.6 liter is the same as the 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee? What a rat's nest to work on !!
I had considered buying this van. No more.
Yes, take the whole thing apart to take out the air canister.
Jobs like this remind me why I went back to school to do Cybersecurity work vs flag hour pay… -_-
A. 3$ kerosene heaters plastic filler for kero will empty the radiator use it on my voyager petcock stuck don't need t o ruin radiator 🤸
