  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hiking With the Shackleton’s says:

I love and respect how much you care about customers & their cars, you really do put as much pride & effort into them as you would your own car.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars thomas lyon says:

Could you possibly get more crap under the hood of a car ?

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jaguarist says:

Every Ford with evap system don't start immediately after refueling (especially if it's overdone) because system needs to recalibrate itself. At least my Ford does that, after refueling wait 3 minutes and then it starts.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars GROG SMASH says:

I have had some adaptively engineered beater cars in my day, but that (Voyager?) white van makes all those seem so Bourgeois in comparison.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kelly Mercer says:

Great work. May I make a suggestion in regards to audio, have you tried recording it through a lav mic into a separate recorder? It may cut down in 80 percent of the background noise. Check my videos and reach out to me for clarification.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars bholtby says:

Two examples of native shop life here.
    1. The ingenuity of those who, "Live in a van down by the river."
    2. The frustrated mechanic's native language as he warns the other members of the tribe of danger within their territory. Please read statements in your best documentary narration voice in your head.

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jonathan Clark says:

Nice to finally see you use TWO HANDS to do something. Let's us know you are human after all! After fighting certain things with 2 hands, I watch you do it with one hand while filming. SMH. LOL

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Peter Freeman says:

You drove the customers car with dirty gloves on???

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars A D R I F T says:

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars j horton says:

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Don Fisher says:

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Ray has a look to him, (laidback, unshaven, and like a stoner, questionable maybe) that is opposite of his mechanical skills? What I mean is, he's practically a genius mechanic, honest and competent, very skilled, almost always finding the mechanical problem quickly, then choosing the very best solution for the customer, not the shop or himself. BUT, quit wrongly, if I didn't watch these videos, and I was a customer of the shop, and they didn't fix my car the first time – say perhaps even if it was alleged to be due to a faulty new part, if I saw Ray, I would NOT trust him to work on my car after this issue was resolved. I do most of the work on my own cars (when I can diagnose the problem), but for the things I leave to the shops, again, since I watch these videos, I WOULD go straight to Ray for repairs (if he was in my neighborhood).

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bishop says:

Even a fairly new car looks like it's a pain in the butt to work on

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kern Petersen says:

One of my dad's favorite cliche's was
"Busier than a one armed paper hanger."
I think of him while watching you remove and replace hoses, clamps, nuts, bolts ect with one hand while running a camera with the other. I very much enjoy watching your videos.👍

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars SuburbanDon says:

With all the f bombs in the background I can see why they have service writers act as a go between between mechanics and customers.

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stephen Bruce says:

I did my part I fast forwarded to help speed things up. Sorry I could not resist. Everyone wants their stuff done yesterday even though today was the first day they brought it in.

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars JNS says:

Had the same problem with a GMC Acadia. Fill the tank and it would just crank and not start. New purge valve fixed it. Easiest fix ever. One screw, one hose, and right in the front.
