Hey Ray, sound quality is like you are on the planet zig. High winds too . Question do they actually have high winds on zig. Could explain the sand !!!!. Sand storm or the owner wanted to remind you of the seaside 🤣🤣🤣
They got beaches in Florida, don't they? Sand can get EVERYWHERE. I just did a deep clean of the trunk of my car and found sand from my last beach trip…6 years ago.
What probably happened was over time sand gets inside the engine bay on windy days and/or driving on the beach and inside truck via the cabin filter, which doesn't filter the sand, and the sand ends up wherever the vents blow it…
Dear Ray, I have looked with amazement at your videos. My conclusion is 1. most American cars are of quite poor quality; 2. people in general don't look after them (ie regular service etc); 3. some people are not willing to pay for proper repairs. Interestingly, the service-neglectful owners don't realise that servicing is an investment, and overall will cost less than major repairs required because of a lack of servicing. Many thanks for sharing these videos.
The older trucks were simpler. They worked off of vacuum. My '96 Dodge Ram would spring a leak in the vacuum line on the firewall. Replace the line and it was fixed.
Yeppers gotta love that sand really good for braking things .. you know it really fun when the customer lives in there car and it really smells then turn on the vents and the smell runs you out lol that happened to me..
They were out loading bales of 🥜peanut hay in the sandfield when a dust devil 😈 blew through the vehicle. Just a farmer doing what they got to do with their pickup truck.😀🙂
Not your best video.
Wow, that video got cut off abruptly. Did something happen that wasn't camera friendly like the customer showing up?
A THUMB-UP ABOUT THE VIDEO AND SUBSCRIBE TO THE CHANEL 🙂
THANK YOU FROM ISRAEL 🙂
Where is the “wind” noise coming from? Maybe you are in the middle of a sand storm… in the garage. 😉
Between the plugged up filter and a dashboard full of sand I can understand why it doesn't want to work.
WHY

An owner named Sandy
The air hose with a straight through connector makes a good blowout device for interiors filters and work space.
The most overlooked item on a vehicle, if equipped is the cabin air filter.
Make sure you wipe your feet to keep from getting the shop floor dirty when you’re done 🤣
Looks like my son's brick layer half ton truck .

"Blow out my filter with compressed air."
Why are they not going to a dealer with a vehicle that's still under warranty?
Need a "J" shaped tube for the blow-gun attachment to blow the desert outta the under dash.
Not sand but a loved one’s ashes
Wheres the rest of the video the replacement part 🤔
Flood car? My guess.
Must be a beach baby, ⛱
How did it turn out? I was interested to see how to take apart the vent system.
Hitting the dash for sand/dirt to fall is the test for a flood vehicle.
Flood vehicle for sure!

Owner's been driving through the desert during a sand storm, I guess. 🤔
hey technician, where did my envelope with ten thousand dollars in it go? lol Cheers Ray!
Typical GM actuator. Plastic internal gears being driven by a metal gear. Metal wins everytime

My guess is they were going for the dumbass of the year award.
I hear you knockin' but you can't come in.
Ok
GMC Tech school: Beat the Hell Out Of It 101. If that doesn’t work, attempt to diagnose the problem.
When we tell you to change your cabin air filter we are not just hunting for profit. We want to avoid this type of bs.
The cable system worked great and forever…… thanks for the college indoctrinated engineer s ‘improvement’ .

ah yes. GM quality cardboard
I know how. They drove it through water
That reminds me..Change my Dash Sand..👍

There was so much sand I thought you were at the beach drinking bud lite
As someone with a messy car, at least have the courtesy to clean up before taking it in for service.
Can we say “off roading in the sand dunes”
Shitty Chevy what’s new?
I see owner neglect as the cause of many of your repairs
100$ says it was in Jal NM and belongs to someone in O&G. west texas dust storms dont play.
better than the ford pickups where the actuators go bad and are nearly impossible for anyone with adult hands to replace
Streamlight is about 5 miles from me.. use to do their HVAC.. pretty cool watching them try and break their own products
You are one pissy person, cowboy up and put on some safety glasses.
Sorry excuse for a Mechanic!,,
no vehicles other than GM break or are you a GM only shop?
