  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ikantspell4 says:

Them fancy tool truck tools and you still had problems with them fasteners. I feel like my hazord fraught breaker bar and 3 dollar hammer could have rounded the nuts Just as well.

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars LORD, IT'S PROBING TIME 666 says:

I might be wrong but that seal needed a GOOD coating of oil plus that flange too. I keep looking and it looks like the lip has folded outwards instead of running on the edge of that flange too. I hope I'm wrong.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Duane Thumudo says:

Hey Ray what happen to Peter? Haven't heard him in your videos in awhile.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ann Stradinger says:

LMAO! I had a visual in my head when that money shot got you in the glasses! When you say “Reeee” is priceless as well. With the positive attitude you have doing what you do makes me want to have a better attitude myself. Thank you for what you do on utube and for just being you. Don’t let the bad commenters get you down. They probably don’t share their toys either.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Brian Beard says:

TWO moneyshots in ONE video!!!! Damn now I am tire…ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzZZZZZZ

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daddyoh says:

When you reinstall the tranny do you shim the TC to the flex plate so that the snorkel of the TC is inserted into the trans pump completely?

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Frank Ross says:

Why wouldn't you take the top bell bolts out from inside?

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Fruit Inspector says:

You should at least give the penetrating oil time to work

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daddyoh says:

Why not on known rusty nuts and bolts just go for heat to save time.

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Thompson says:

Is it odd that I tense up when watching difficult removal of parts 🙂 I have had to also torch and cut bolts loose, Not fun…

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike Boring says:

Ray, I meant to congratulate you when you hit 400K subscribers. Congratulations on getting 402K subscribers! Phenomenal!

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Wilcox says:

Dude..7 tpi blades are way too coarse for steel…wth? Tell him 12 or 14 tpi. But I use them to cut structural steel, so maybe on cars…eh. Quick work bro! My daughter has an 04 Mustang and it was the rear main seal. Pulled the motor and got it done. Painted the covers red, looked and ran like new. A year later the trans lost 3rd. We should have rebuilt it when the motor was out. We didn't listen to our mechanic friend. So it hit home when you said you asked the car owner to do it right but they said no. You know what is coming…you will have to do it twice!

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars nam tran says:

Remove exhaust manifold catalytic converter bolts to make a man out of you. A DEAD MAN, of COURSE.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nic Henson says:

Who was watching the Hunger Games and then country music?

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Wh0_Am_ 1 says:

Funny I thought this was recommended as I am doing a similar job on my Mustang.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TINOYB says:

Amazing to me how all the wiring still works after a procedure like this given the age of the plastics.

  20. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bill Link says:

When you remove so many parts like this, do you recommend the customer change other items while you're that deep into the car?

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jacob Garner says:

Anyone ever tell you, you look kind of like Jeff Goldblum?

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Bean-matic says:

Hey, question: Why don’t you use a 3/8 impact on those exhaust and torque converter nuts

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick Bochanesky says:

Hey Ray. I have been following your channel for a while now, just wondering why I never see you use pneumatic tools?

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Timberlan says:

I love how you point things out like how there's rubber along the bottom of that plate. I was just thinking if oil is coming out now why wouldn't it later, but you explained why lol. Just as I was thinking it. I think the way you do things are extremely helpful, always a thumbs up!

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars wrench41m says:

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Sass says:

You always heat the nuts on exhaust bro. You are one hell of a mechanic and great videos. But I did exhaust full time for a couple years never broke on stud always heated them.

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dan Smith says:

Induction heater set up- All of them would have come off, no need for the torch. Best Investment ever. Would not even consider that job with out it.

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steven Cabiati says:

With all the snow salt and rust in my area tahoes are always 4wd but if you use an acetylene torch to get the exhaust nuts glowing red they come off with a half inch impact gun step down extension to universal 3/8 swivel with 15 mm socket

  43. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stanley Mcfalls The Southern Comedian says:

Love a good long video after working all day 😁😁

  44. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michel Swerissen says:

    Torque setting……..goodan tight…….click.

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars I'm Irreducible says:

A set of Diablo Sawzall blades would have made that control arm job so much quicker. Same thing happened on my dad's 04 f150. Passenger side bolts seized up, cut through them in about 20 seconds. I hate people that just air hammer away blowing out everyone's eardrums in the shop.

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike Annunziato says:

That Sawzall action at the end 🤣

  47. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars tallwill38 says:

Ray what is ur thoughts on this charcoal filter on a 2008 tundra trd. I have no clue why I never noticed it before but would it hurt to take that filter out and just run my k&n filter.

  50. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robert Hasili says:

Get the company to pick up the tab for prescription safety glasses. Just record that you made the request.

  51. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars jaylord55 says:

why not use the torch on that bolt?

  53. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars CAM NEILSEN says:

I only came for the spurt lol

  54. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nick J says:

I always used a 1/2 Milwaukee on the flange bolts and never had one round off just mostly snap or break loose

  55. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ctiley2212 says:

Your life would be so much easier if you lost the swivels and bought some quality tools instead of the American made junk you use.

  60. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jonathan A says:

    "Fire! More Fire!", LOL!

  61. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Duane Henderson says:

Maybe a stupid question. If they only allow you 3.5 hours for a job and it takes you 8 hours, do you only get paid 3.5 hours for the day?

  62. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Joseph Johnson says:

Can’t go wrong with the Diablo blades. Well worth the cost

  63. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jim B says:

Nice to see what this job entails. Had it done on our 02 Yukon and was dismayed at the cost. I feel a bit better now seeing how much work was involved to fix that oil leak.

Keep us posted on that blue Dodge with the rusted control arms.

  73. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars kyzercube _ says:

Ray, you made the classic mistake of not removing the dipstick from the dipstick tube before starting work on the tranny. It's not the dipstick tube that was giving you grief, but rather the length of the dipstick itself 😛I've made that mistake too many times myself. Not busting your balls, just some tough love advice from one mechanic to another.

  74. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Reese says:

Why Do You Use Chrome Swivel's… People Have lost Teeth using something that…. This is always the Last resort! IMPACT SWIVLE SOCKETS

Pry bars are like cow bells. MORE PRY BAR.

  77. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars MICHAEL DURAN says:

Should of just torched those bolts off that ram would of took 2 minutes and saved a trip to Home Depot and cost of blades. Just make a sharp neutral flame and precision cut. Screw mopar and there bushings and bolts. A Jeep screwed my eyes out with leaf spring shackle bolts and every other bolt that day putting a lift kit on. In Ohio the rust is terrible so a torch is our best friend

  78. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rene Bronkhorst says:
