Go into the cabin and we're gonna check. Our pressures are wrong. We do not have not had appropriate amount of pressure here. Uh oh we're going deeper than I Thought: Look at what I found.
See the tensioner and then the pulley right there. Look down. there's a piece of that pulley that is broken. See that? Come on out.
tensioner. Oh man. look at that things bust clean off. Surprised it wasn't uh chewing up my belt thing.
could have thrown the belt. it's not okay. and look at that.
that would make me take a walkand thank God. depending on car that tensioner can end the life of a car instantly.
i love that duramax you have
Who is going to pay Ray for fixing his own truck?
Nice catch, that there is easily missed
It just decided self balanced is all.
But that CRACKED HOSE!!! REEEE!!!!!
China Junk today cars trucks are all junk this what this country is made of One thing after another money money
When a tensioner pulley breaks like that and nothing happens to the Belt that means your belt is aligned perfectly that is a good sign put on a new tensioner and you'll be fine
Are you guys all. Right over there see Strong winds over there
Won't that hose leak soon too?
Ya dun broke it Ray.
That’s doing Nothing the bearing is still good and I’ve never seen a belt chewed up from that Ever only time that would chew a belt is when the bearing fails, next time watch where you put a prybar
WEIGHT LOSS
Mine did that, but it wouldn't even tension anymore, so I replaced it with a new gm tensioner and a continental belt.. the new tensioner is so shitty cheap from gm, it let's the belt squeak and slip.. so much for OEM parts.. made in Mexico baby.
That's crazy 🤪
Looks like another Roseanne Roseannadanna Day!
Good thing you caught it on time, god only knows what damage can do
Buy a new truck and quite sinking money into that pile of j7nk
In all my years of fixing my own cars I've never seen that happen before 😳🤯. I've seen bent and wobbly pulleys. But never seen a "chunk" missing out of any pulley😬 like that.
Do you write off the labour on this job for non-payment or is it charity work?
I have an air pump bypass on my C4 Corvette and its been like that for years. I'd like to know who broke it before I bought the car but it hasn't killed a belt yet
