I've been using Alldata diy for years now just for my personal vehicles and some family.
I wonder why the autel company does not use this as a add-on feature to the tools it would be cool to buy a vehicle specific menu because sometimes I get into these menus on the 908 I don't know what the hell they're talking about but that would love it if I tell would offer a vehicle specific service manual that would interact with their tool

I had a question I have a 96 blazer with 4.3 v6 I have a misfire in cylinder 3 I have changed plugs wire coil distributor I get a code that the coil has more voltage then it should changed fuel pump too i was ready it could be the map sensor or crankshaft sensor from how it is running rough an I have to shift out of overdrive to drive over hills thanks you

my son bought a sunfire. When he needed it inspected the drivers side headlight wouldn't work. Not a bad bulb. All data has a common problem section. It said to look for a bad splice at the bottom of the front fender. The morons that made the car put a splice at the bottom of the fender were it filled with mud and corroded.
Would you think about a new style of video? I would like you to interview your wife, if she would agree. Mine would like to know more about what she does for you and the pros and cons of having a family shop. I know that's not your usual video and being a small town fixer of what shops turn away, you have helped me explain many things to my customers. love the videos and keep them coming. The only thing I have yet to figure out is, what program to run on my laptop for diagnostics other than just my verus snap tool. We are trying to get my salvage yard and shop going legal but i need a few more things done before then. One is trying to get my wife confidence as a partner in the office and shop, built up where she would not be so scared. thank you even if you don't do the interview .

Hi i have 2004 impala low beams work outer lights, when I use the new switch the high beams are the new inner bulbs never all four at once is that a malfunction or a Chevy design that it's the two older than the two inner the pictures I'm seeing online or showing all four on I have a new multifunction switch new hazard blinker relay all the fuses are good the light bulbs and assemblies are LED upgrades I was going to check the ground wires there assumably Rusty or is it that relay behind the driver's side fuse panel should be an easy fix I'm just sick of throwing parts at it?
the diy versions to all data and Mitchell do not give wiring diagrams I know because I have had both.
I will say this there is a major difference in coverage between the diy version and the full alldata version I have had access to both and it is like night and day. but as the old saying goes you get what you pay for 30 dollars per year vrs 200 a month I work on 2 cars mine and my mothers both fords I went on ebay and bought the factory shop manual for both cars it covers everything and you only pay one time these manuals are all over eBay
I miss being able to buy an decent repair manual at your local auto parts store ,chiltons now are so vague and pack so many models into one manual it tells you nothing …and that’s if you can even find one ,most stores don’t even sell them anymore! Maybe I’m just old Fashion but There is nothing like having an actual repair manual in front of you when you need it
I started using autel scan tools almost 10 years ago with their first full function bidirectional or level scanner. Ds708. I've since upgraded twice and will never go back to snap on or OTC.
I use alldata/ alldata manage, identifix, and CCC collision estimating and shop management . Since I have 2 shops I pay for each one twice. It comes to over $1400/month or about $700 per month per shop.
I buy used vehicles and fix them myself until the repair costs get high enough to justify a car payment again. I think a 5-year subscription makes a lot of sense! Thank you for taking the time to make the world a better place and stay safe!
I worked at a stealership for a while, and we had Alldata in our shop. I liked some features and loathed others. Lots of great info here, thank you for sharing and stay safe!
I followed the links; All Data DIY is now $130 for 3 years (01/17/2022). I was leaning toward them because of my prior experience there, but now they have dropped to a DISTANT second!

I've bought the full official OEM printed service manual for my 2000 Chrysler Cirrus, and I still can't figure out how to repair the horn sounding off at random when I turn the steering wheel.
