In a previous video https://youtu.be/5dHnnnQytns I had a look at a Buick Roadmaster that had no high beams and no brake lights. I diagnosed it as a burnt connector and a bad switch. Let's swap it out and see if it works. -Enjoy!

You asked about a name: John Doe
Eric you are correct. It doesn’t matter what other people think when it comes to how you decide to connect your wires, if it works, then it’s repaired. Keep doing what you are doing. Very enjoyable and knowledgeable you tube videos and an honest technician to boot. Great job.
I got a 94 roadmizzie, you have anymore vidz on this??
I have a new respect for auto mechanics from watching your channel. The knowledge and skills you have are unbelievable. Love the diagnostic portion of your videos.

"everyone wants an old car, they are simple. old cars are stupid"
You could have been McGyver!
I'm with the 50% for soldering the wires.
You could have been North Maine Auto threw them completely off the scent 😉
Wrenching with Marvin mechanic 👍🤔😂😂
Things got real quiet, and you started whispering in my ear. Now that was creepy. Heh.
You could have been Fart smeller…I mean smart feller the mekanic.
I once pulled the turn signal indicator gearshift plastic off a 78 gmc pickup. I did this back in the 80's when the column gear shift failed. I have never been more disappointed in engineers in my life. Hundreds and hundreds of components and a small thin plastic key to shift a long metal gearshift lever. I had to fab up a metal complicated key to shift with and finally put in a funky floor shift. The engineers needed drug into the street and shot.

i'm partial to the name "Al"
When I was a kid I LOVED those contortion jobs that required me to assemble a Rubik's Cube with one hand upside down blindfolded. Now that I'm so old everything hurts, it's painful just to watch this.

“Get the black screw started in the rear”. 😳
Don't know if look back at these but worked for Cadillac in when these were new
YouTube Name: Solder McSolder Face. And then the "people" could argue over how to pronounce your name, while they're complaining about your soldering.
The alias should have been: His holiness, the most omnipotent Mr El Presidente, 3rd earl of the duchy Liechtenstein, bearer of the holy hand grenade of Antioch aka Mr Fluffy Numpkins
Billy Bob Thornton. Carl on Sling blade. Uh huh.
Eric O……..Since you "could have been anybody you wanted to", do you want me to start calling you Hannah?
ÈRIC the real tech deal
Chris fix needs to do a face reveal
Scotty climber
If Scotty is so brilliant why an I sitting here watching you???
I think you’re way of splicing the wires is the better than but splices I’ve come across a lot of bad connections with but splices
I've watched maybe 2 Chris Fix and thought he was a hack. Watched a few Scotty what's his name and thought he was more click bait in person than in his titles.
You sir are the real deal.
RD: Real Deal auto fix.
You and AvE are about the only You Tubers I continually watch regularly. Oh and TXG golf. I prefer real over hype.
That light where you want it when you want it is called a head light
Couldn't find a more recent video to comment on, so I'll do it here. Just ran across your engine removal and install videos, watched the Dodge Caravan ones last night, currently watching the Chevy pickup videos, wanted to say that these videos are great, there's not much you edit out and that's what is so good, I for one want to see the removal of everything. These are great for learning, when I was younger we use to do all this outside and use a tree limb and come along to hoist it out, for people who have never pulled a motor, these videos are alot better than others, great work Eric O.
"… the other half would be pissed i didnt use a solder seal connector" – ceramic mold with thermite works great too
Thanks or the props. I usually climb inside the dash.
What sets you apart from the rest is that you make sure it " looks good" besides working the way it should. Not too many mechanics care about that. Well done!
horace c or richard c
Biff Hardy, the private eye.
pia working under the dash on anything
i suggest "grandmaster O"
Bob Ross the car guy.
I used to make so much side money doing those tilt columns. Racks, bearings ,and tightening up the 4 screws at the bottom. I think I still have a bucket full of assorted parts that you would get in a kit gm used to sell. The good old days of the 80s. And the theft recovery ones that had the busted housing.
Mrs. O got a nose ring
and "go down there and give a little tug" LMAO
Great Video, seem you were concerned a out the gage of the single wire. Was it possible to remove the wires , switch them using the heavier gage for the two wire output /input ?
coming soon flashlight glasses that aim where they eye is focused LOOOL
