In this video I have a look at a Cadillac DTS that was towed in from my used car guy. He picked it up at the auction as a no start. They replaced the starter and the battery but it still will not crank over. Let's see what it really needs. -Enjoy!

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima, had the dealer replaced the Head gasket, took a week, due to parts not available. drove the car after it was done, the engine died on the way home, took the car back to the dealer and I was informed that needed to replace the engine???. please would you have any sugestions

I heard they got all the problems with the Northstar engines solved after a couple years…is that not true??? By 2008 the problems were long gone…or so I've heard from several directions. Anyways, I wish I had someone like you to take care of all my Cadillac needs!

I have changed starter on a Northstar it's a big job.
I have a 2004 CTS with v6 3.6 do you know what causes the Shifter to lock out in park. You can release it underneath the white button. But as soon as you put it in park, it's locked out.
I have a Cadillac DTS 2006 won't crank or start turn the key all the lights come on battery good but when I turn the key I hear a click coming from the back fuse box under neith the back seats so im asking what's the problem thank u very very much

I have the same problems no crank no start 95 cadillac seville sts. Will start after forcing the car to neutral position. What is the problem?

I found a bad ground in steering column for the theft module and ignition switch also had no communication with theft module to so something to check if you have a no crank issue…..

Nice video! I actually like Cadillac Northstars. LOL Once you use the Northstar Performance head studs and new head gaskets, they're great. Good power, lots of room, good fuel mileage and a comfortable ride. You just gotta understand them. LOL

Enjoyed this video immensely. Those little rodents get into everything. Recently had to change a headlight bulb in my wifes Prius and noticed they had started chewing on her main cable assembly. I watched someone on YT who said a way to keep them out after you had cleaned everthing up was to soak cotton balls in peppermint essential oils and leave them in corners under the hood. Have you heard about any other ways to keep them away. I live in the country so this is ongoing. Thanks again for your videos they enrich my day.
