Where is that seam ripper and telephone company wire tracer. Ya'll just have to put it at the frequency that is not the tuned length that will radiate. Just because each wire is a different length tsk tsk

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robert Miller says:

Does anyone know why electrical tape… even scotch 33, turns into gooey much on a boat? I does not seem to under these trucks and cars. On boats I never use tape and simply have to use only wire loom and tie straps. There is something about a boat that melts electrical tape. We also use heat shrink electrical connectors.

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steveo66 says:

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kenneth Franklin says:

I ran service on commercial burglar alarms, often tracking down a short or open on a 1000' wire run. When you said "This sucks," I know that feeling well.

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Michael Beilsmith says:

When doing electrical checks like your performing on this vehicle the first step that i take is hooking up two high quality jumper wires directly from the battery to the area of the work. That way i'm not looking for good grounds everywhere and I can check my test light each time. It ends up saving me time and frustration. Great video!

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Donald Rackley says:

    Nice Mr 713

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars General Disarray says:

Fair play Eric, great video, excellent work. I really enjoyed watching it.
It's a refreshing change to see someone admit they've made a mistake. Usually mechanics, including some that you've ended up fixing their botch jobs for, just stand there and lie to your face, "sure we replaced the part", when they plainly haven't, or "it was like that when it came in here", even though you know it wasn't.

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shane Harrison says:

It sure was interesting to see where the broken wire needed to be repaired.

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Shane Harrison says:

Remind them Rome wasnt built in a day why would a search for wire breaks take less time.

Eric, don’t worry about the haters that want to just see the highlights, keep doing as you are doing. Show it all, you help the rest of us when you show it all, not everybody is comfortable tearing into wiring harnesses. You give us the confidence to do so with minimal tools!

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars vito gio says:

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars vito gio says:
