Looks like we found a broken engine mount. Today we will remove and replaced a very broken engine mount on a GMC Yukon . As always, safety 3rd! A similar procedure applies to GMC Sierra & Suburban, and Chevy Silverado and Tahoe

This feels artsy and asmr. I like it
I’m not a mechanic.
Several of the recent videos I’ve watched here have broken motor mounts. Is this a common thing? What causes it?
I choked on my coffee and busted out laughing when you called for a medic, brilliant.
Sounds normal for a chevrolet
At some point you’ll probable start using an “endoscope “ To film with. .. got one for my iPad ..works great ..joined by wifi let’s me see and film in all sorts of inconvenient places to get to …. Have a fun DAY … ..really enjoy watching some one who knows what he’s doing …. Thanks ..
Replaced one on an 07 Suburban four-wheel drive, NOT EASY 😁
Looks like GM Quality to me!
Duct tape or electrical tape works better than Scotch tape
Nothing wrong there, just one of those new fangled flexy sexy mounts from Chebby to show a better side of the engine during photo ops!!!! LMBO!!!!
Was it painfull
I'd say a 1/3 of the money you make is for your patients.
I always get a smile from the "wobbly bits" or "dangly bits". This truck had a "wobbly engine". So of course only they could do the job.
MEDIC! LMAO!
Drifting and burnouts are going to make you rich
Good day to you how are you when you do a oil change a GMC Yukon how do you do a reset if you don't have a handheld computer
Bad mount off rip
Workmens comp!
Ooo fancy tape
Why won't this hose clamp go on? 😂
Love your videos. This one was especially good with the fast forwards. Watching you tighten a bolt for 5 minutes was a bit tedious so the fast forward is excellent. I always thought you replaced motor mounts in pairs??? Guess I was confused and learn something today. Keep up the good work!
Did you seriously use a clean piece of blue shop rag and transparent tape? You weren't even bleeding!!! What happened to the days of wrapping a "boo boo" in the red grease rag from your pocket, getting back at it then worryin about blood loss later? You are a SISSY!!! Yes, I say this while sitting on my fat (insert appropriate expletive here) watching you turn wrenches.
Love your stuff, stay safe…..ish. I'd bust your chops some more but I'm about to have to fight one of my "fuzzy toe terrorists" over a cracker I dropped on the floor….don't judge, it's Chicken in a Bisket.
WHAT YOU LEARN YOU SUCK AS A CAR REPAIR MAN
I applaud your patience level!!
Looked like you were delivering a baby when you were pulling that mount out!! 😀
Again ,a great video. But I must comment about your "first aid" A real mechanic will cram grease into the wound and then wrap it with black electrical tape. Ask me how I know. Love your videos.
Oh no mr Bill
Engine mount no doubt
Everyone has those wheels I find it funny personally I like 17in steel w/t wheels with some actual knobbies not 22s with low profile nittos like every time dick and Harry… But I respect all trucks just think itbeing old school is different now
the engine mounts
vat the Farrrk I thort I waz votching Hydrooolick Préss Chânnél
I also work on cars.. in my humble opinion the 5.3 engine size it's one of the best engines. Very reliable. Nice job done Ray 👌😎👍
That was nasty, that poor little lego man 🙁 Great vids though!
Great job Rainman! But instead of putting handheld work lights or flashlights, why not wear a headlamp available on Amazon.
This is one we use around the shed etc. Everbeam H6 Pro LED Headlamp, Motion Sensor Control, 650 Lumen Bright, 30 Hours Runtime,
Oh no Mr Bill Mr Bill
jumping railroad tracks?
I see you like wobly bits 🤣👍 awesome video
Great editing and production values.
I have a 2004 Honda Odyssey with a 3.5 I have a problem with a rear motor mount by the firewall it's in a very tight spot can anybody show me a video how to get it out of there without taking everything apart to get to it and I really like this show he's funny I like the way he imitate the phone when it rings
I bought a gold VE Chrysler Valiant (Australian model) wagon with perfect upholstery etc. Accelerated up an incline with my 6cylinder long stroke motor through auto transmission and thought I’d run over a railway sleeper! Father-in-law dourly stated “engine mount”. He was right of course.
Has anyone ever owned a classic car in top order and sold it for fear of spoiling it? I did! The buyer was ecstatic and I was relieved……if you don’t understand….just don’t go there..oh, fixed the broken mount.
Mechanic now offpisser try not to floor it all the time so you don’t rip out another engine mount.
I have had 2 GM Holdens in Australia. Both V6. Motor mounts to front K frame always a bitch to do. Completely inaccesible to do a proper torque wrench tightening.
brake free on boo boos gets the carbon out of it
was it a drivers side mount? great vid thanks for this 👍
How can such a new vehicle have broken motor mounts? Quality control and cheap manufacturing is most likely to blame.
"Medic!"
Once had a compound fracture on my ring finger when it got pinched between two heavy bits. Using a small screwdriver, I pushed the bone back inside, took a shop rag and some electrical tape & finished the job. Only took 2 days of the wife nagging to go to the doctor. It's fine today, just a bit wider than the tip of the other finger.
Oh, well!
I love seeing older cars with little to no rust on them. Not used to that…
It's a Chevy…
Drivers side motor mount
Just superglue that flap down, we both know the shop towel tape only lasts for a sweat or two lol.
