Customer Customer States Mechanic Fails Engine Transmission Gas Diesel off road race 4x4 street car daily driver scam dealership dealer technician how to

Hello everybody! Good day to you! Welcome back! Glad you guys are here! I Knew I'm super glad to be here. This outside is a 2000. No, No, no, no, No. 1995 Ford F-150 It's the XL It's got the long bed.

It's also got two gas tanks. Check that out customer. States They think they need a clutch so uh, let's hop in this thing and see if we cannot get it to maneuver a little bit and we'll decide just how much clutch it really needs. Ah, there we go.

look at that old stick shift. How many of you guys know how to drive these things? huh? comment section down below: Who knows how to drive a stick? or moreover, who knows how to drive a three on the tree? Do you know about that? I do I Drove on once. All right. So taking a look at our clutch pedal there I'm not sure what I'm feeling I hear it down below moving around.

All right. So here's the deal. They drove this thing here, so it stands to reason that uh, it can drive out or at least drive into the service stall or maybe even test drive. So uh, let us stockings the engine.

we're in neutral, clutch, depressed foot on the brake in case it decides to drive away somewhere and beginning into the stocking sequence. Now some gas. I Don't know what that was, but it sounded like the flywheel was getting eaten alive by the starter motor. Let's try that again.

Okay, yeah, that sounds like the like the flywheel's a little torn up. All right. Let's uh this thing into the shop. What's uh, what's going on over here? Hang on a second.

I'm in a weird position. the door doesn't close the handles. it used to be there, but it's not. Hey I can't get the door closed in my footstall on the clutch because I'm scared to do anything.

Yeah, okay, you know what? let's see if this is gonna okay. it goes into gear. see what? I'm gonna let the clutch out. Nothing.

okay, it barely goes into first we go break. All right. Okay, we're moving foreign. What is this? Okay, hey yeah, we're not driving anywhere.

I I forgot I was worried about the clutch thing and listening to that I forgot the door doesn't close it did it. Then the door came open. You got to lift up on it. All right? Yeah, then the door came open.

I'm scared. Uh yeah, we're not driving anywhere except right over here to the rack. Um I'm gonna get this thing on the rack. we're gonna lift it up here and uh I'm gonna take a peek.

I think I'll pop the starter out or something. maybe take a look at the at the flywheel gears and then uh I mean I guess we can go from there and I about fell out of the truck again I think that's good. Yeah, neutral. it is definitely neutral powering down happening Z Hood this is our brake rotor.

There was a brake. Rudder Yeah, let's see what we got, uh going on in the engine compartment. Here you squeeze on out. Uh, can we pop into this? Hood What's uh, what is this? What is that? Okay, yeah, the hood pops there.

You go. put that back right where it goes. All right. So I'm gonna pick the door up.
You said? Oh, okay. got it? Okay, door's up. See what's under here? It sounded like a straight six cylinders. Uh, there it is on.

Unlatched. Please come here. I got it. I Got it? There We go.

Uh yes, that's a 306, right? Yes, sure, it's a straight six. It's got to be 306.. Fuel Injected Electronical Fuel Injection Wow, what a dinosaur. Check this out.

Vacuum: Reservoir It looks like a can like a regular. It's like a soup can. old board vacuum reservoirs bet the camp was made. That thing came with AC starter Solenoid It's our electron containment unit, filter or whatnot for the air pump that's in the emissions device.

It pumps raw air into the catalytic converter and then it's supposed to make it pollute less Sure, use more fuel to turn parasitic load to pump air into the exhaust so the exhaust doesn't pollute less. I I Think we just had really good engines and really good fuel. We wouldn't need all that stuff, but what do I know I don't know anything I Just work here. Hey, speaking of not knowing anything, Lauren did you hear about the aliens? No serious question.

Did you hear about the aliens? I don't know. All right. So there's a I'm an alien. Uh, apparently.

I don't even know this is real or not because this 2023 uh, there was a press conference from some government people or whatever and they were pretty much saying that there are aliens and that the aliens have been in contact with the governments of the world since World War II And the aliens are upset with us because of our amount of global warming and pollution and ecosystem destruction and kind of like how the Kings back in like the 15th century would tell the people that they spoke to God and whatever the king said was God's word. That's kind of like what the government did with the aliens. They're just like hey, uh, the aliens told us all this stuff That happens to be exactly what we're trying to do. So everybody in the world there's aliens now and you need to do what we think you need to do.

So yeah, I'm not kidding. That's what I heard like. Not kidding they they. we had an alien press conference where the aliens told us what's wrong with our species and I'm just like I'm just this actually.

I Watched the videos last night like that. That's what that's what they say. They say that aliens have contacted our government and they're mad at us for pollution. Man, what aliens care what we're doing.

It sounds like a bunch of crap to me. it's all lies. Troy Did you hear that? Yeah, a bunch of pack of Lies aliens still aliens and even the best part is is our government comes out and tells us there's aliens and nobody cares because we're too busy. We're too busy with one tragedy after another.

No one cares about aliens. Oh I don't know. Well I guess the I guess the forest on fire didn't work and then the the all the other yeah, the trains that didn't work and the uh, the bioengineered food that's not working and so they moved on to aliens because we're not listening to anything else. I guess we're all kind of tired of living through one Global catastrophe after another and we're numb to it.
Nobody cares. Nobody cares about aliens. Troy Oh yeah, there's the balloons too. The Chinese spy balloons floating around the Earth is flat.

yeah. I Give up man I Give up you guys like there's no more I just I Got no more I'm tired of it I'm burnt out I Don't care. Freaking meteors are coming through and smashing into Planet will be like I don't care. whatever.

we're so tired of it. they're all looking at me like uh Ray's losing his mind. Moving back up good. We're off the ground, not falling over.

Let's give it a Shakedown it's not falling over is it? Yeah, We're good here. Solid. solid. The feeder pointed away from each other.

short feeder up up there pointing that way. Long feeder up back here because the frame steps and then pointed that way and we got another bed leaker. Look at that headliner leak. Who knew what is this? It's like the rack of bed liner leakers.

Strange says I You know what? I want to do something a little bit different here? I'm gonna let this back down and we're gonna flat foot this because it's kind of got the uh, the squatted truck thing going on in its stance and we don't like that. Yes, very good. All right. All righty.

So we're back up in the air here and we need to figure out if we're pulling the starter or is there an inspection plate. There's this big plate here between the engine and trans, but uh, it's sandwiched in the middle so I can't take that apart. Oil pressure sending unit is leaking a lot. Anyway, maybe we'll pull the uh the starter out too to check the flywheel first.

That way, we at least know what we need to do here. It's our little inspection cover. Uh, there's our clutch basket and you can see the throw up bearing in there with the blue thing. There's the spring front of the trans.

It's a lot of dirt and whatnot going on, but I can't really see the uh, the flywheel or the teeth. so we're gonna have to pull the starter out. That's the plan here. Mr Troy Come on this way, can you? uh, will you let this thing down, some disconnect the battery and then go back up and start pulling that starter out.

It should be really easy. There's just two bolts. uh, don't even have to unplug it. Uh, just kind of pull it out and back set it aside because we need to take a look at the teeth on the flywheel because they sounded like they were grinding off.

So I want to know what we're getting into before we pull the transmission out of this thing? Comprende see? All right, We'll be back as soon as he's done doing that. Okie Dokes So Troy got our starter motor out. It's hanging here with the brake caliper hanger on both sides and uh, we can see there's a bunch of metal chunks down inside the nose cone of the starter. See all that, and you can see a bunch of metal flaking off on the gear right there that's not looking too great.
Let's uh, go back up into the hole here. see what that flywheel looks like? Yeah, we're getting a similar wear on the flywheel. It's It's kind of detailed and small to see, but there's a a bunch of material missing from the front of these teeth. So I think we are going to go ahead and pull this trans out.

inspect the clutch because they said they wanted a clutch, but it looks like we're gonna have to do a flywheel and maybe a crankshaft seal along with it. Let's find out. Hey, look at this over here. Look at this.

Watch this. That's uh, not okay. All righty. I Think we're good to go.

To start. Uh, disassembling this particular third right here. Uh, the way this is gonna land is, we're gonna end up removing and replacing this uh, U-joint in the drive shaft here. That thing's smoked and it's gonna destroy this truck.

Uh. Additionally, if this thing comes off while driving, look at what we have going on here. It'll be attached at the back, laying on the ground, in the front, scraping the ground, and who knows what. It can dig into a pothole, a curb.

it might turn sideways and flip the car over. It could catapult the thing and do loop-de-loops and smash itself, and either way, broken off drive shafts are not good. So uh, I have uh, decided that this U-joint is going to be replaced. That U-joint in the rear is going to be replaced and once I get this thing out, we can go ahead and pull off this transmission.

inspect uh, the uh, the Carnage inside of the bell housing and see what's going on with those damaged teeth on the flywheel. I have a new flywheel over there on the floor and we also have a new clutch kit around here. somewhere. we've got a clutch kit as well.

So while this thing is out, we're going to do the flywheel. The clutch kit and I also have another starter on the Shelf because this starter is damaged from the grinding against the teeth on the flywheel. So let's go ahead and get started. We're moving out back to the U-joint and the rear differential flange.

We've got some uh, looks like 12 point I think those are 12 mil I got a 12 mil? That's what I brought. Let's get these guys disconnected. Unclick. Loud noises.

Oh yeah. pull these guys out. Then we can drop the drive shaft out of it next. Get that one out.

These Driveline sockets are highly useful for uh, the specific purpose. This would be not as not fun with a Uh with a wrench. come out of there, my socket's stuck. Give it back there.

Okay, shaft is loose. There we go. So let's pull that last uh bolt out of it. Set that aside.

Look at this guy loose and spinning around. Let's go ahead and pull that right out of the tail shaft. Come on out. Really, it's stuck.
There we go. Okay, let's set this aside. work on that later. Okay, up here on the transmission side, let's go ahead and start getting the Uh the electrical connectors disconnected.

There are not many of them. Take these guys and just set them off to the side. Tuck that in. There we go.

Let's tuck it in right there. Good. So next let's go ahead and unbolt the transmission mount from the cross member. We're gonna have to remove this cross member from the the frame rails here and then drop that down.

Remove the mount. that way we can, uh, remove the bolts and the bell housing Slide the thing back and then drop it down. So let's go ahead and get our trans mount bolts removed. there's just two of them nuts rather.

and I'll go ahead and unbolt this cross member, but we won't remove it just yet. Working here with a 15 on top to hold the bolt and then the 18 at the bottom for the for the nut. Now I Can unbolt this without string falling out because the cross member actually sits on top of the frame rails should not be a problem. It's gonna fall out.

I Wouldn't do it. Here We go. Okay, we've got one more nut and bolt. that's the one that secures the cross member to the frame rail.

Let's get the wrench on the bolt and pickage. Loud. All right. We'll pull that bolts out of there.

There we go. Set that aside. Okay, taking a look to the right, ever so slightly looking under the catalytic converter. You can repeat over here.

On this side, we'll get our Big Bowl I All right, we'll get the big bolts out. Come here. Bolt Tight squeeze the Bolt's a little stuck I'll have to move the crossmember around a little bit to get it out. Oh, the exhaust is capturing the bolts I Was hoping I was going to be able to do this without pulling exhaust out of it because it's uh, super Rusty you're still gonna try that thing move.

that made me, uh, kind of rethink a little bit and recheck what I was doing just in case. Yeah, those are I Guess those could stay. No, they can't stay because I have to slide this thing out. Yeah, Okay, hey, you know what? I realized I'm gonna have to take this little bracket Loose as well.

That kind of makes this horse a different Gunner see it's bolted on from the top of the frame rail I'm kind of going in I'm not sure how to go after this I can't get it from yeah I can. it's Sneaky I've got a wrench on top of it I Think close if I can get the wrench on the head of the bolt I can go in with a 90 degree impact. There we go. Okay, that's on.

coming in with the impact gun. that's the 90. I Think that should be sufficient to break that guy loose I'm reaching up and holding the wrench about to do this on both sides. There we go.

Okay, there's the nut and reaching up, let me recover my wrench. Got it And the bolt is not going to come out because it's captured by the top of the body. Am I doing this wrong? This is a it's like a big Catch 22 here. now.
it'll be fine. It'll be fine. I'll figure it out. It's a simple, simplistic design.

It can't be that hard to disassemble damage. It is just an old fur. Foreign. All right.

I've got I have the wrench on the nut vault clip this. uh, impact in here. some the Big Tool in a small hole. but I think the proper amount of maneuvering I can get at it.

Okay, we're back, please. All right. Whatever. Reebok My race there it is.

got it. Okay, so the bracket is loose, but the bolts over here are capturing it. If I can just slide it that way, it'll just kind of pivot and come out of that hole. I need to I need to pry bar this exhaust up some okay so pry bar coming in I'm gonna fry up on this exhaust.

It's kind of push those bolts out there. We go got one. This is gonna work. Pry bar event numeral nose sorry I can't see I've got to get the proper leverage here to come through.

You gonna do it? Repositioning? Nope. Oh the way I got it stopped? There it goes. Got it? Okay, now that thing there we go. Bracket out.

Set that aside for later. Okay, looking left again. that other side is not going to be as tough. I Don't think it seems to be more work in space to work with.

So let's get let's get the ratchet ratchet. can't think I mean I can, but I wasn't Anyway, let's get this nut off. Maybe Universal Gonna need the big wobbles the half inch swivel I don't use those often. There we go.

All right. that one's out now. Can I reach the other one to go in from the front side? get a tight squeeze I don't even know if my gun's gonna fit. The lift arm is kind of in the way on this one here.

Yeah. Wahoo caught it cool. All right. So now that bracket is also loose, slide that out of the way good.

Alrighty. so next up, we need to get out of here and go up top. I need to take the uh the shift knob off and take the boot off and get some access. I mean I can reach up in there to try to get that out, but uh, it'd probably be easier from doing it from inside the cabin.

so let's get our goodie stuff out of the way from down below. Uh, we'll go up top and into the interior and then disassemble the ship linkage that we can come back down, unbolt the bell housing, and pull this unit away from the engine. All right. Bird 150.

coming down, lock release almost all the way down. I Think it's climb on in here and see what we've got to work with. Ah, climbing up. Okay, let's see here.

more light. There we go. Now we can see what we're trying to see and what I see is some stuff on the shifter here. Let me clear this.

uh, clear these goodies out of the way and then we'll peel back this little boot here. Oh good. So what do we need? Looks like four Phillips screwdriver bolts are holding down the base plate. I don't even think I actually need to remove the the knob.
Nope. I can just pull that back. That's good. Okay, we need to get this thing off and get down there and unbolt this.

uh, the shift lever right here so we can drop the trans out from the bottom. All righty. snap on Phillips screwdriver coming in. Let's get these guys unscrewed.

Here is to have this stud that runs through it clamps, uh, the shifter to the shaft, but there's no head on the bolt or stud or whatever. So I guess I take that one off and then use that to pull this one through. I'm not not really certain how that goes anyway. Let's uh, let's get a 17 or an 18 mil wrench and get that nut off of there.

We're gonna use ratchet wrenches I'll bring 17 and the 18. I think it's uh 17, but I don't know I'm gonna find out. Climb: Okay, let's see here. Let's see if that's uh, the light died.

Oh well. you guys can still see right? We'll do the ratchet wrench feature here. That's why I got them. I Know this comes off because it unthreads.

So I'm assuming this is how I'm supposed to remove this guy. it's gone. Okay I return and I plug my light back in I Recovered the ratchet now I know not to do that again. Anyway, let's get this.

Uh, my life's dying again. It's plugged in. What are you doing late? Anyway, let's get this uh, nut off of here and then figure out how to separate the shaft from the other shaft. Okay, so I'm assuming that based on the design right here.

if I take this nut and move it over to the other side of this uh, little stud shaft thing coming through, I can tighten it and it will pull that stud through the little collar. So let's tighten this down and find out. see if it pulls it through or not. And it, yeah, yeah.

I think it's moving. it's coming out. uh-huh Why are there wrenches falling that I'm not holding what's going on? Hey, come here Hot in here. Yeah! I'm watching those threads it's coming through I wonder why it doesn't rotate? That seems kind of odd.

Yeah, there was a there was no way this was gonna happen from from the bottom side. Not a chance. it's just too much. it would.

it would take hours. Come on through. What are we doing here? It shouldn't. It's like through a bunch it should want to come free.

I think Pat's gonna do it or not, what we'll do is get a little bit of lubricant on that stud. So I know it moves because we made it move and then we will. Miniature pry bar that going off the bolt. just gotta tap the thing out.

look at that, she's moving. Oh good. Okay at least I know it hit the ground, then this should slide right off. Look inside.

we can see see a little pin right there. It's keyed so it can't uh, it can't rotate on its shaft. All right, we set that aside. Now we can get out of this thing.
We'll go back down below and work on those bell housing bolts. Okay, let's run this thing back up. Moving back up. So I'm uh, trying to get this, uh, this clutch master cylinder fitting disconnected.

There's a little plastic collar in here which pushes into this little green piece. you can see and uh, inside a green piece there's little clips and those are what? Clips to the brass piece right here. I'm trying to, uh, get that thing pushed in to release the clips. It's full of dirt and nasty so it's being reluctant to come out there.

We go. Got her all right. O-ring looks good. Okay, so that's our line for our clutch cylinders.

Let's set that thing aside. since we opened it. we will have to re-bleed this. but uh, they gravity bleed very well.

Okay, let's move on back around to the front. That's right. I think it's a 5, 13, 34 filter. Anyway, there's two 10 mil nuts on this little.

uh, those tens. Maybe not. Now those are three eighths. Everything's standard.

There's two nuts on this front cover plate right here and right here. Uh, no more because the starter did the rest. So let's make sure that's not an eight real quick. And it's not okay.

Yeah, maybe three eighths. Let's see 3, 8, 3, 8. Where are you? How about that one? Cool there? We go ahead and pull those, uh, those bolts out and then we'll go and get the larger bell housing bolts. Looks like there's two here, two more on the other side, and probably one or two up top three eighths.

Un tickets. Uh oh. that was starting to slip. We don't want that.

All right. I'm gonna break off. Let me break this off. That is stupid tight.

Come on. Don't break, turn, turn, turn. It's gonna break. It's yielding that.

No, it's slipping. All right. Deal with. that.

one. came out okay. so I've attempted already. Uh, off camera when you guys weren't looking to, uh to get a couple different Fasteners or sockets and wrenches Fasteners socks and wrenches.

Uh, on this Fastener and it appears to not want to come out. So I've upgraded to the Frustrated Pliers I'm gonna put some squeeze action on this and see if these guys won't break that thing loose, it might do it. This is one of those tools where the harder you squeeze, the tighter they get. and if I can get the uh, if I can get the teeth on this to bite into that Fastener I should be able to apply enough torque to it.

you break it loose. but yeah, it's just gonna slip I think it's tighter Maybe a little tighter. Don't slip, Just turn. Nope, Nope.

Nope. I'm just gonna mangle it. Okay, not working and you degreased this thing. Elevation time.

Next level of violence. All right. I'm really not in the mood to have a hard time with this. So since that little uh 3 8 bolts is too small, we're gonna make it bigger with a bigger Bolt Safety Squints Engage please.
Gonna weld a new one on Watch. All right that's tacked on. Let's send it home. Thank you.

Oh fire. Oh that's nasty. It must be a zinc coated nut. Yeah, that looks like zinc.

That's horrible looking. That's terrible. Oh well. let me come out.

not disengage. There We go. That's what we're looking for. Okay, got it? Okay, let's get some insulation going here because I'm impatient.

Uh, get this thing out of its. uh. out of this hole so we can go back around and get around to doing those uh, bell housing bolts. There we go.

Got her out. Put that aside. okay, that's the two bolts here. So that plate is loose on this side.

Let's go back around and get uh Evolves from the back there. So I should be able to just get at these with the 90 you know little uh in my Driveline sockets here. Yeah, very good. That one's out.

Allen's out. that's two and looks like there's one. There's one way up top there. probably one on the right side of that and then two on the side.

All right. going back up and in and in and out. so I can't see uh oh I dropped a flashing light I made it with my uh, the gun there Universal sockets are the best ever. All right.

let's move back up to the top in there and we'll try to get uh, one more more bullets off to the right. so I can't get on that one. Come on, no way. Thank you.

Okay, it's not working out all right. I'm coming back in on this. I've got an extension on the extension on the extension and I'll try. uh I'll try to crack that loose with a ratchet.

First warning: incoming unintentional product placement. but while we're here, I will put an Amazon link to the sun X Driveline sockets in this video's description down below. a little bit more. Come on, turn.

Oh there it goes. Okay, Return. cool now. I can just spit it out from way back here there it is okay.

our socket apparatus and that Fasteners Yeah, it's still up there. Yeah, it's still in the bell housing here. Let me get up there. Yep, got her Okay, got it out.

So it looks like we have just two more bell housing bolts here. One and then the one up there past the uh, that air pump for the air pump pipe got you good. So that should be it is all of the bolts. Now we need to get the transmission jack, lift this thing up some support it, sneak the cross member out.

then we can back the transmission away from the engine and we'll get a good eye at that clutch pack in there. Let's roll this thing down under left to fetch a ratchet strap to make it secure. This truck has caused so many tools to come out of the tool cart. It's unbelievable.

We got a welder trans Shack all this Driveline stuff over here. Four or five different configurations of sockets and ratchets and swivels and whatnots. What I'm getting at is one of those jobs where every single Fastener requires like another tool. It's It's somewhat annoying.
It's not horrible, but it could be easier. Okay, the jack is about to make contact, so let's get it uh, squared away a little bit so it's even bring this thing up. and I I think I'm gonna put the front of this pad right at the bell housing up front because that seems to be like the flattest spot when I Gather here so we'll put that right in there and then we'll adjust it so it's just, uh, it's level on the rest of the transmission. Here we go, we have contact.

Very good. Okay, let's keep it going up some and got our weight off the cross member. Now go up a little higher. There we go.

Okay, okay, fast forwarding some. I've got a ratchet strap on here and there's a wedge block of wood and another wedge of wood right here. and that's going to keep this unit from wanting to rock left to right on that flat surface because it's it's kind of curved and uh, it would naturally want to move around when it shouldn't be. So let's get this raised up some.

Moving on up, we've got some leakage. Okay, so we're off the cross member. Let's maneuver this thing out there. We go.

We set that down. So now the trans jack has the weight of the unit so we'll lift this guy down a little bit. Hey, we can get in there with a pry bar and try to wedge it out to, uh, separate it from the engine. So I'm trying to shake this thing loose and it doesn't really want to let go of the dowel pins that are holding the Uh Trans to the engine.

So what we're going to do is I'm going to use a very long screwdriver and we're going to go in between the bell housing and this little plate right here, right? and I'm just going to drive that up and it's going to wedge itself in between the Trans and the engine without gouging into the aluminums. I'm going to try to separate these two units. tap it on in there. Yep, see how I got a screwdriver in between? So now we've broken the bond uh between the Uh, the dowel pin and the transmission.

that I can go in there with a larger screwdriver and wedge this thing out. or a pry bar, not screwdriver pry bar. It does. booger up that plate just a little bit.

but I can Hammer that flat once I get it out, it should be a little consequence. Slide that back. going back in again. give it some wedging fry action.

Just gotta get those dowels to let go. You got one side out. Keep wiggling it. You guys have a pry bar that's not okay.

Let's keep giving this some Wiggles until Uh comes free all the way we're getting there. The other side is going to be a little tougher because there's the exhaust in the way. Okay, rolling around over here to the other side I can get behind this uh through the starter hole. It's going to try to wedge this thing out and it's moving good.

become all the way separated. Get out. that's pretty close. All right.

Okay, so it appears that it's mostly free now. I Think the only thing holding it in is the splines. Uh, going into the clutch and into. uh, let's play here.
So I'm just gonna give it some push away pry action. There we go. We just gotta get those splines to come free of the clutch and we're coming out. This unit's uh, it's almost all the way out there.

we go. come on out. Transmission: Okay, let's get that. uh there.

so does it Get hung up and we're gonna slide this. uh, all unit just kind of straight back. let it down for clearance here. we go a little farther back, letting it down for clearance.

a little farther back. like So all right. Yeah, it's pretty nasty in there. Yeah, things clear and let's let it all the way down and roll it out of the way.

Trans coming down. there she is. Let's see what's going on in here. Yeah, it's pretty customatic.

Clutch: Slave cylinder looks like it's been replaced. That's nice and shiny looking there. I Don't think that's Factory All right everybody, we have a bit of a situation at hand here. This video is running much longer than normal I Still have to take the clutch pack out I Have to remove the flywheel from the engine and don't forget about the U-joints in that drive shaft.

Now, the problem here is most of us don't mind watching an hour and a half long video on YouTube However, some of us do so in order to make things appealing for the entire audience. I've decided to make this video split up into two different parts. That way the people that didn't want to watch an hour and a half of it today don't have to. And for the people that do want to watch an hour and a half of footage today, I've created a second unlisted video.

You can find the link to that video down in this Video subscription or in the pin comment or all the way at the end at the very end screen and the little link right above right here right now. So if you want to go and continue on to the clutch disassembly and the U-joint replacement, just click on one of the aforementioned links and it will take you over to the second unlisted part. two.

Over the pond in the UK, my wife wanted me to learn to drive Auto… I was like nooooooooo! Stick all the way ! Here if you learn to drive on Auto, your not allowed to drive stick, but if you learn on stick you can drive both! I much prefer having control of my cars power rather than letting a computer decide, if I need to get out of a situation quick I just drop a gear or two and I'm off! I think the shop's heat is starting to get to Ray lol… first he lets off the clutch of a pickup truck like it's a Honda Civic and launches the truck forward and is clearly embarrassed by what he did, his wife has to tell him how to latch the f**ked up door on the Ferd, and then he launches into a dystopian diatribe about aliens and the folly of crappy leadership (public and private) at all levels of civilization. Go sit in the A/C for a little bit my man 😛

I could be wrong, but would penetrating oil have helped with those front bell housing cover plate bolts? We use it a lot up north, and sometimes, it's worth it weight in gold. I love driving a vehicle with a manual transmission. I was heartbroken when the pickup truck manufacturers stopped making them. My favorite was a 5-speed S-10 with a Vortec V-6, 4WD. that thing was a beast! I used it to pull full-sized vehicles out of ditches several times! Too bad it rusted out (I live in PA). I miss that truck. When I traded it in, it had 140k miles on the original clutch!

It's time to replace the bushings in that door hinge. I'd insist on fixing that door or deny service. That door is a heartbeat away from flying open during a right turn and allowing the driver to try to stop this truck with the top of his or her head and hands.

The gear wrench bolt biters work amazing on stripped fasteners like that inspection plate cover bolt.
