If it's fogging up the lense does that mean it's still alive ?
…those burnt exhaust valves usually leave the cylinder a little at a time…like slow cutting torch damage…saw quite a few when I was a cylinder head man about 50 years ago…
I've got an 09 with the 3.0 … 241K miles and still going strong. I do my own maintenance.

"Cold miss" is how the owner described it. It hid except for rusty plugs in 6-8. Torqued the head, added liquid glass.
I'm dealing with a p0301…misfire on number one cylinder, ford's are nortourious with there misfires, but this is a 2017 with less than 30k miles, no way I should be getting this code…changed the plug and coil, no change, engine runs perfect..wtf?
Nice work. I have a Misfire in my Escape. Still occurs after changing plugs and coils. Ses to me if that didnt fix it, whatever is causing it will be very expensive. Ugh

Any people who own a Ford escape with a V6. Mine is acting weird but it's not throwing any check engine codes. When you first put it in drive or in reverse the idle drops low and it runs really rough, makes a weird noise and it feels like it's going to die, until it starts moving then it runs and shifts fine. And only once you come to a full stop and wait at a red light it will feel like it's going to die again. Any ideas?

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion SE 2.5l engine misfires periodic. I replaced all 4 ignition coils, plugs, and now all 4 injectors. Still having the issue when driving. I may have to take it to Ford because it mudt be a short, or PCM issue. I know thid much Ford will never sell me another vehivle after this pos!
I have a P0301 on a 98 Integra Type R, and already went through spark plugs, leads, entire distributor replaced with a known good, fuel injectors to fix a rich condition (replaced all 4), and did compression test (210psi all 4 cylinders) and did a leak down on Cyl 1 for shits and giggles and it's perfectly sealed. Checked Cyl 1 with a boroscope as well, very clean inside, nothing to note, looked at the valves, the piston and cylinder walls. I don't feel any misfire when driving at all, but without fail it sets a code every 10-40 miles, depending on how it's feeling that day I suppose. I'm beginning to suspect a lightweight flywheel to be the cause (9 lbs instead of the stock 16 lbs) but really don't want to go down that road yet, since I believe it would throw random misfire codes or all 4 cylinders, not just Cyl 1. Anyone have any ideas I may not have thought of yet? I should also mention, not burning any oil or coolant, engine was rebuilt about 7 years ago.

My Wife's car cam belt snapped and took out all 8 exhaust valves they got bent real good needed two valve seats also. Rebuilt myself and she's still good 100kmiles/ 5 years later. Headwork cost £200 GBP and was well worth it.
