LOL, in every old house there is a pair of scissors where the tip on one side has broken off; most likely used for a purpose not intended, but it still works as a pair of scissors, so it is retained.
During winter the gas line can freeze unless the propane is winter blend. If the line is frozen just pour boiling water on it and tell the supplier to fill it with winter mix.
In the UK if a motor mechanic tried to fix any sort of gas heater in someone's home he'd end up in court … There's very strict regulations regarding who can touch and work on them …
Question…Do you and your family travel around the country because I swear that every night I've spent in a motel or hotel, you and your entire family have occupied the room directly above me!
That cable moves about a bit and may have been snagged by someone working down there. Might be a good idea to cable tie it securely to something to stop any chance of that happening again
Nice vid of take off and landing 👍. I always like watching the wings of the aircraft when flying. Watching how they flex plus the panels on the wing. Scary stuff if you see it for the first time. Bit like working on a vintage boiler 😬. Crispy wires and all. Museum piece , well done getting it going. Ah, gravity on holiday, you have a great day👍
Hey Ray, love the way you do your "Process of illumination" on this video and plenty of other ones he he , keep up the good work and thanks for all the videos
Its always great seeing somebody fix a dinosaur…it never gets old:-) As for the flight..you got just about where my fave seat is…center over the wing on outboard side. its always cool seeing the flap do their thing and the air brakes on touchdown. I never tire of seeing 737's in service:-) Thanks for the great video Ray:-)
* Aah, Northern Wisconsin. I've been up there in August, and had the temp drop into the mid 30s overnight. At least the skeeters we're scarce, but so we're the fish. Glad I brought my long johns. At least it lights quietly, the heater we had lit with a Ka-Foom!
Scorching hot summer day! Oh, that was 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
,or peeling the wire with a knife cuts a little bit into the copper….?
I think the method of stripping the wire insulation scored it radially and caused it to break.
I used to work on those old dinosaurs when I lived in Daytona.
You needed to bring a recording of Doodooleydoo!
Sounds like one of my old apt neighbors upstairs🤣
Ray, most of your viewers Hit the Thumps Up Button before we even watch your video, we Love and Appreciate everything you Say and Repair…

YIKES!!!! I DO NOT DO AIRPLANES ,HELICOPTERS OR BOATS!!
Another win for the man of the house 🏆 Tom UK
Maybe someone used a scissor to strip the wire(s) and put a nick in the wire and vibration over time broke the wire.
Those wires need better support.

good job hero~!
Great job !
Hornets may have gone to Florida where it's warmer.

why are you landing in Wisconsin
I liked The Plane Ride! Ray do not forget Mice , They love to eat ,touch , pull & destroy wires…..
I live in Janesville Wisconsin to be exact 💯
You’re amazing with electrical. Including diagnostic on cars I wish I was your neighbor there’s so much I can learn
Gremlins broke the wire or the fairy folk.
Nice job ! If the auto mechanic stuff doesn't work out, you can always get into HVAC…
Nothing like having crappy weather on a long vacation…

'I'll just strip back this wire and reinstall it …yup'…pulls out angry scissors 😀
Gravity at the Lake.
Switching to oversized multi-wire cables would withstand vibrations better if they are allowed as installation cables, which must be checked!
Well at least you weren’t on a 737 Max, that would have needed you to take your Snap On Scan Computer to diagonise the plane!
Ray’s videos are amongst the one’s I Thumbs Up before I click the play symbol!
What a cool video! Thanks Rainman.😊
Always good to be the wife and kids hero! Hope you enjoy your time away from normal life!
This was way too technical, Ray. It is difficult for me to follow. I guess I was expecting automotive repair… Thank you for the distraction.

Fix one wire every 70 or 80 years! Not bad!

You are crazy, with a capital CRAZY 🤪 for getting on an airplane
That's one of them dangerous fridges that people get locked inside.

That's one HELL of a service call lol
This bent-up wing.
Did you do that to get the plane into your garage?
Probably a bug 🐛 blocked the fuel vapour just enough? Sometimes inlet air if it’s working on vacuum can stop it
No rest for the wicked, fly all that way just to fix something
Should switch to air frame repair, paying more $$ Seems you have the vehicle repairs aced and you need a new challenge
Not hooking the scan tool up to that old beauty.
Northern Wi. What town? I own a place up there too.

Looks like a haunted area
That's the fridge from the last Indiana Jones movie lol …. Impervious to Nuclear Bombs.
