I'm impressed as for usual the mechanic has the worst running vehicle nothing works in the plumbers house , the painter never waist paint on his own house , my wife was messed up when she met me . I was a general contractor I could do it all . Now that I can't do anything anymore every thing is falling apart , so do it while you're young

The beginning of this video reminded me of a morning on my way to work. It was in the early 1980s. As I was getting on the highway, I noticed an unusual looking car ahead of me. A number of times, I would catch up but not quite close enough to identify the car. I'd be doing 70 or so, and traffic ahead would have an opening, and that car would take off like I was standing still. Traffic would slow him down, I'd almost catch up, but zoom. I figured I would never know, has to get off my exit, and as I pulled up behind the first car at the traffic light, it was that car. And I finally could read the name – Countach.
Beats me how the hell you know where all the connectors go. Dive in pull off several dozen connectors.Wires and pipes all over the place. Do the job then calmly put the lot back !!!!!. How the hell do you do it ?.
Hey Ray,just started watching your videos, enjoy them very informative. We have the same truck lbz Duramax dually I tow horses 🐎 with mine ,so any repairs you do is very helpful. I don't drive it maybe 3500 miles a year, always something I'm doing to it to upgrade,replace,lights switches, steering rattle fixed,great motor everything else around it you gotta replace. What do you think about a lift pump? Going to put 1 on mine I think.
I normally put a dab of grease on the track and on the cable. Just makes for easier operation in my opinion.

I'd cut that wire tie on the cables Ray before it binds the cables and they break. That's where your grinding noise is coming from. 🙂

The regulators in my Dakota are all $70 to $90 and I've replaced all 4 of them at least twice so far.
