I'm surprised a car in that condition ever made to a pro. Where I come from, when they get that bad you park 'em out behind the barn, and scavenge steel for repairs on farm equipment.
So far, I see nothing wrong with these cars, however I do see the owners need to be changed
Honestly, the cost of being inconvenienced looking for another car is too much for me to let my current whip get neglected. Should be enough for everyone else too
I had a car once that the back window kept freezing up with icicles in the winter and even the front windshield. That spring I did a thorough detail and found that the spare tire was underwater. Apparently, the rear window seal leaked, water got into the trunk, and was filling up the spare tire area. I had to get new carpeting and the window repair was done by a glass repair company. So, seeing the part with the water made me think of that. You have all the fun, Rainman Ray. LOL
3V 5.4L Triton that's been run into the ground, HELL NO. Not worth it. Customer needs to be informed that it's time to scrap it. Maintained properly and timing chains changed when they're supposed to be, the 5.4L 3V isn't a terrible engine. But nobody, and I mean NOBODY takes care of those engines, that's why 80% of them end up as scrap in a junkyard.
Make a good estimate, make a video, especially if it's knocking and they just want an oil change. But it happens and some people can keep it running for years that way.

Nice little 'best of'. You should do them semi annually. ๐ง
Scrap it!! Might get $50 for it!!

Nothing a little JB weld can't take care of.
What's a little frame damage between friends? Lol

Nice look back at his life and times.

I like it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty funny !!!
I never thought watching you fix things would be so entertaining. But it is. Keep up the good work.
Nothing wrong with that truck that cat be fixed with a can of gas and a match.
James Bond smokescreen: No extra charge…
your job harder than it looks.
Fixer-Upper?
That's what we call a project car, because the best course of action is to project it towards the nearest scrap yard.
ford truck sounds like a ford
Ok
It's a 3 valve it's dead
The car at :45 obviously belongs to a secret agent and has the optional smokescreen installed to allow them to escape the bad guys.

When you see that much rust, I wonder what state they live in. Winter salted roads.
You touched it last, you own it!!

pfft easy.
Here our wrench man would probably adjust valve clearance, change battery, put heavier oil and call it a day. Before lunch.
Good compilation
That's what happens when no maintenance.
Get everything in writing first and sign it

Critters living in the airbox not paying rent.
Itโs never a good thing when your mechanic says โ ohh nooooโ lmao
That glove box made laugh my azz off. Whole damn door came off !
Eh! There's a mouse in me intake!
DRAMATIC INTRO!!!
The owner took the Vice Grip Garage approach "We're just gonna pretend we didn't see that…"
That air filter still looks better than the one I pulled out of the used car I bought my niece. Looked like it had been sucking up road tar.
I feel for you, you have worked on some real abused POS vehicles…You just got to say to yourself, It's part of the job.
At first, I thought this was all on one vehicle. I was thinking like…holy crap that is a lot of issues.

Looks like Feivel has been in that dodge! & some of the self lubricating chassis system on others
Nice iMovie lol
I get the feeling that two surfaces not designed to touch, touched.
I'm going to buy this new car. Till it needs an oil change…Which is 25k miles…Then trade it in…
Did you get that post pulling device on ebay? Lol
Nice intro! A little dramatic for the content, but not too shabby ๐
