I was half expecting to see a mouse in the oil filter . On a serious note , I've owned 3 diesel over 30 years with no engine troubles . Regular oil , oil filter , fuel filter and clean air and nothing goes wrong . Mind you it was Hilux for 8 years (from 120000km) , Hilux for 10years ( from 60000km out of the mines ) and then Dmax for the last 12 years ( with 10000km on the clock ) .
Clean interior and exterior on the vehicle, proceeds by by popping the hood and discovers rodent nest. If you're going to have a nice interior and exterior on a vehicle, pop the hood once in a while and check the fluids and air filter. That rodents nest would have been discovered long ago if they did that. Rodent nests can also start a fire.
I hope you charge the normal shop rate for oil changes and PM. A before and after test drive will NEVER happen at the oil change place, nor torquing the oil plug.
Ahhh! Purolator filter! Walmart's answer to a Fram. Spend the extra 5 bucks and get a Mopar filter or a wix. You have already spent 120 for an oil change if not more. 5 more will be worth it.
Ray, AS a trouble shooter for many years on atomic partical accelarator systems I can appreciate your trouble shooting techniques. I do have a question. What is the propose of decal exhaust fluid and what does it consist of? Thanks Ray and keep up the good work
Fuel filter… there is a drain plug/hose for it. Lets you get the old fluid out and so you can clean the housing, often there is some crud in there. Also… there is a special short hex socket for the cap. Makes taking it off a lot easier rather than a wobble bit.
I wish You were down the road from me Ray' Not only would I ask for you specifically to do what ever needs doing' But get it done well , But also might get to see it done right by someone I trust, On Youtube Can't ask for more than that at any time or place brother' Until Next time, Have an awesome day'
You do a better job of getting that 6.7 oil filter out without making a mess than I do. You should drain the fuel filter housing on the engine before changing out that filter, though.
Yeah… I hate the leaves & misc tree crap on/in the vent inlets. I imagine it getting into the cooling coils, getting mold & mildew… Aargh. I've thought of cutting an access port into the (plastic) ductwork for inspection & cleaning… it doesn't have a cabin air filter.
Ahhh, the Florida live oak. Gotta love em.
AMEN Blake !

I was wishing I lived near Rainman Ray and get my car worked on by him. Whether it needs it or not. LoL
I'm glad I do not have to mow all that beautiful area.

Nice shiny new red suppressor
I am a carpenter and I have found myself saying click and reverse click using an impact.

Hell in the hell did that get air to the motor I've never ever seen anything plugged up like that
Damn the engine need to be Flushing… see the oil that bad…. @Rainman Ray's Repairs
That's the dip stick..first thought it was a pullcord on a lawnmower.
My gosh this oil pump sounds animalistic
Hey Ray…are you gonna leave a Christmas tree air freshener on the rear view mirror?
Ray ,don't you know that you are supposed to give the rodents 2 weeks notice before evicting them ? Now they will be homeless and living on the street
If I brought my vehicle in for an oil and fuel filter change. And you got crashed into on an unnecessary test drive ??? You'd be dead.
As the fuel filter does not have a heater, is it limited to Florida in winter?
Nice truck like that…$60,000? You’d think the owner would open the hood once in a while.
Put a hole in bottom of the oil filter to drain old oil you won't get all over you then take it off
Looks like a job for the ASSAULT air gun.
Yes man
Come on man we know why you driving it. To see if you like Cummins better than duramax drive a power stroke you’ll park both of them
Who's who's trying to kill that cat in the background.
Truck owner doesn't care about his truck at all. He wants to blame other ppl. POS.
O rings are like rubbers. Only good for one use, and some times they fail, and cause headaches.
If the customer just wants an oil change and has stated no drivability issues, does get charged for the pre service test drive?
Having the 3/8 drive adapter instead of a socket on the drain plug sure seems like a good idea.
Why isnt every drain plug like that?
I cringed the whole time waiting for a rat to jump out in matrix mode.
I hope you also opened the small bung to be the air inlet hole for the new drum of oil

Rainman Ray ,please tell Walter to kiss your nutts! Thankyou!🥜🥜🍌
wow Owner see this vid? O.o
C'mon now… you don't have a leaf blower in your toolbox?

Poor drivers door now has a ding ding ding.
You need a shop vac for the leaves and debris.
Why do p neglect their cars, that cabin filter is probably filthy…..

If I lived in Florida I know where I would take my cars. Just saying!
Huge pet peeve when I look under the hood of any car and see leaves on the cowl.
I’ve never seen animal trace under the hood of a vehicle like you show so frequently.

There is no way on this green earth I would let this little punk kid work on my truck
