My dad made a set of jumper cables from discarded electromagnet cables (industrial electromagnet at a steel factory). No loss of current in those cables.
Yeah, that shed roof is end-of-life. If the walls are strong enough, you could go with a plywood replacement. But in my experience, those sheds are not very structural.
As an Englishman who regularly watches these videos Ray is everything i expect a true American to be, thanks Ray you bring back many happy memories of working with Yanks back in the fifties and sixties.
If you're ever joining webbing straps/loadbinders together, and you don't have a proper shackle to use, try wedging a couple of short bits of wood (sticks from a tree etc) somewhere in the join.
Webbing straps knot up REALLY tightly when they're joined together but if there's a couple of bits of wood wedged in the join it'll be relatively easy to pull them out and then the rest of the "knot" will be loose so it'll be easy to undo.
Love the truck we don't have these in UK well not as many as you guys in states, they look mean love American trucks we call them 4×4,s great vids 👍 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
It seems you have quite a to do list, sheds falling apart, mower is in dire need of repair and your trailer floor is rotted out, best get hopping! But,love those jumper cables!!
To tell you the truth I'd have been more worried about that front wheel laying on mower deck bouncing when going over a bump flying up and out trailer. I always found unlocked zero quite easy to pull with rope even out of buried rear tire. .I have also pulled it up on trailer like yours when broke down.
I mounted a small 2500 lb winch on the front of my trailer just for doing shit like that you can get some cheap Chinese ones that work fine for less than 100 bucks well worth it when ya need it man
Next time you need to do pull something on try setting your truck at a 90 degree angle, basically jacknifed, this will allow you to pull in a straight line and not potentially damage the jack or fray your straps.
I have a similar set of jumper leads I can jump start the average car from behind. But 1 main difference. I have 175amp Anderson plug about a ft from the end and can seperate the lead to an Anderson plug under the bumper of my work Ute . Don’t even have to open the bonnet to jump start someone 💪 great vid btw
On a side note, how do you like that push on wheels style of weed eater I saw in the bed of your truck ? Been thinking those gotta be easier for the back!
I sure hope you bypassed/disengaged the hydraulics on the nonfunctional mower… towing the mower without bypassing the hydraulics can jank up the system pretty badly
Reminds me of when I've unhooked a row dolly from my truck, chocked the wheels and then used the truck to pull the dead vehicle up on the dolly. worked great,no problem.
I have used ratchet straps as mini come-alongs to great effect. If you link two together you can get a couple feet movement then chock up your load and repeat. Of course I try to have two regular come-alongs in my truck at all times anyway. Their handiness cannot be overstated.
I'm surprised that you didn't call your insurance adjuster on that storm damage . That hole in the roof totaled that new 2021 zero turn mower that was only used once , by a little old lady on a Sunday .

Ever have one of them straps start buzzing when you're driving about sixty or seventy miles an hour. Trick is give it a few twists so it's not flat.
classic Florida man trailer resourcefulness!
That's some down home engineering there
copper treated exterior boards don't seem to last longer than 5 years. I miss the arsenic treated ones!!!!
love the gravel on the wood deck. what do you mean a rock came off my truck and broke your windshield

Tell me you didn't kill the state bird, that's Michigan's state bird.
Send it!!!!
CRC brake clean, in the red can! The ONLY wasp killer!
You're the MacGyver of the 21st century 😂😂😂👌
That worked but wouldn’t it be just as fast to use the ratchet strap you had? A little more labor intensive but less rigging time.
Bigfoot fell out of the tree
Love a guy that's not totally consumed by his profession.
Great video.Good job. Enjoyed all of it.
Quick suggestion, jack the trailer tongue up to reduce the angle of the gate. It works for motorcycles as well.

Improvisation that's my motto
It is an unintentional skylight!

Buy a Maasdam A-100 Rope Rachet puller and snatch block. This is painfully to watch.

It's a good idea not to allow trees to grow over garages and sheds.
I’d have used a come-along.I’ve had both of mine forever, and use them for all sorts of things!
…. Just hanging out with the Rain man on his day off??…. You son of a bitch, I'm in!

Why not use the truck to pull it up?
Why are you still one arming it? Thought ur buddy bought you a head mounted cam? Fun stuff Ray Ray!!!
When you were trying the strap to the working mower I was like, "That's knot gonna work!!!". 😁
Loving those jumper cables, they are worth whatever you paid for the clamps and wire, that's a set you have for life.
If you want to get rid of that Craftsman mower I'm in the search for a zero turn mower myself hit me back?
I live near there

It's always good to see someone working who has common sense . I also use brake cleaner and WD40 to kill wasp nests .
I love watching these to be honest. They are extremely satisfying and entertaining
Did the loose wheel on the mower make it?
Tropical disappointment Elsa got the shed
Looks like Tarp time for your shed !
There’s no such thing as over kill.
