I saw this coming a mile away. People think they're helping when they're causing harm
To make a long story short, my grandfather used to be grumpy and scary, the. He stopped working on passenger cars, now he only works on big rigs and either work trucks (street sweepers, garbage trucks, diesel etc) never seen him happier or more successful

I know what State RR lives in but have no idea which village, because it has never been important to me. As to negative reviews, if I haven't done business with you you will never get reviews from me, positive or negative. As for me, I live on the West side of San Antonio Texas, at my age and poor health the chances of me traveling more that a couple dozen miles anywhere are pretty much zero. Best to you Mr. Ray.

I was a bit concerned this was going to happen, to be honest. Ray has so many followers, that all it takes is a handful out of the bunch to really make a mess when it comes to doxxing/bad reviews/calls, and other negative actions. Sure, i understand why they are doing it, its because Ray is a really stand up, kind, guy, and they most likely did him pretty dirty. But, we cant bring negativity to his reputation by being "That mechanic guy who films, has followers who will bring trouble to our shop" We dont want him to have to stop making videos due to the fact noone will let him film because of this sort of action.

I rather thought that this might be the reason you didn't trash your former employer in your moving out video. Few future employers want to hire someone who bad mouths their previous employer because they figure that some day that someone will leave and bad mouth them. This presents a dilemma where the employee has a legitimate grievance or was unfairly fired. How does one convey that in an interview without coming across as bashing the former employer? It can be difficult.

If I was Ray I would let them know that I don't condone any of the bad comments being left on their site and have no part or affiliation with anyone leaving these comments as well as apologize for the inconvenience it may be causing.. there are many trolls / rude people on the internet and you can't always be responsible for what some bad apples do and should not let it ruin your reputation or stop your growth

To be fair, did you leave like you said here or did you get fired like the previous video thumbnail was created as….also, more business will come to a shop you have or work in which I'm sure you were the benefit of so you can't really complain about the opposite. Not saying it is OK but it kinda comes with the territory and goes both ways. Fair to ask but to demand people stop something they have the right and or ability to do is another thing altogether. Just a suggestion….. instead of demanding people stop what is their lawful ability and right to do, maybe use your superior language skills and ask that if people follow you because they like you, and are the ones doing this to stop as it's making any possible future endeavors hindered because of their actions vs demands.

Honestly… what is wrong with people that think they can be a Keyboard warrior in the ludacris defense of another person who didn't ask for the "help"… Ray makes great content and do disparage him like that is just unconscionable…. Honor the man for what he does.
I feared people would retaliate in that way as it always does. Things sometimes just come to an end people, especially when it’s been felt and came to peace with it happening already. No need to try to hurt their business, they did it enough to themselves by loosing Ray.
So in light of this, have you considered (not that it would stop the actual crazies) taking a little more care in obfuscating private info in your videos? Not saying this is your fault or anything, and I'm sure immature kids watch your videos as well (modern cancel culture being what it is, doing this is probably a reasonable reaction to them 😞). But I'm a busy dude and watch maybe a 3rd of your content at most, yet off the top of my head I can recall a number of things I've noticed in your videos that would make it easy to locate you (saying from experience, as I do that from time to time in my job).
Just sayin' – for all the good people out there in the world, there are still plenty of crazies. Making a small effort to deter all but the most dedicated seems like a good idea.

Ray definitely seems like he is a pretty decent guy. He is very honest with his work and has a family to worry about. The reason he is no longer at the shop comes down to only concerning the shop and Ray, not a bunch of Kens and Karen's leaving b.s. reviews.

That’s why the extent of my social media footprint only exists in the comments sections of YouTube. No Facebook, no twitter, no nothing else. And I’m probably pushing it even here. Especially when I encroach on the videos within my profession. I hope that folks listen and pull back. I’d hate to see you retreat from YouTube due to self preservation.
