Hi Ray the man!
I'd like to see the video on the power steering line replacement 😉
By the way, you are a cool dude, love u man.
Day in the life…love it
hi from southern n.s.w Australia .I've been following u for ages and decided to say hi. U amaze me at all the problems u deal with and usally allways find an way of fixing them no matter what it takes .I wish I had an good macanic like U over here in Australia as most over here try to ripp u off for littlest things and do bodgie jobs on Ure cars that's y I allways do my home work before going to the macanic s and make sure they don't ripp me off its videos like U make that teach me so much and have saved me an lot of pain and $$$ like ure vids thanks heaps.for showing us. keep them coming if I ever one day go over to America and go to Florida I'll definitely look u up and have an chat and an feed .ok keep up the great vids and try not let that phone in the shop get to u it would sort of pee u off hearing it ring at the wrong times especially if ure trying to concentrate on an job. I guess Ure used to by now ..stay safe man .
Liked the vid, cause it showed the way a machanic s day can go
It's a tow truck e-brake
Where are you in Florida?
If the complaint was "massive engine oil leak" why did you immediately start the engine not knowing how much, if any, oil was in the engine? I have never seen you check the oil level on a customer vehicle before starting it. Not good.
Would like to see power steering line replacement and what you are going to do to prevent same problem from reoccurring. Love your video's. Define Troll… one who could not find his way out of a walk in closet with the light on.
I would have made to tow company come back. That was ridiculous.
Ray, what we do is get a tube cutter, remove the rusted out section and replace it with hose. Double clamp it and it handles the pressure just fine.
Is there a reason you operate ignition switches and gear shift levers with your left hand?
I want to see power steering line replacement… LOL
Do you want fries with that?
I thought the "built in tow hooks" you mentioned were "Attitude correction points" should someone try to brake check you
That is one of the worst jobs a mechanic can do. Power steering lines on a older trail blazer. Minimum $500 just for labor..
is just another "DAY IN THE LIFE" that for some is SATISFYING and, so, brings a mechanic feelings of accomplishment. Certainly is not for everyone.
You forgot #7
Bro rock auto your parts they have the power steering lines you need in stock no need to wait on gm bro just heads up
Flat rate is great if things go to plan. They never do .
I love the chaos videos
So whats wrong with the dodge??? I have the same one lol
Those folks were lucky you were there with your big equipment.
Yes
🖒🤠
These components look oh so familiar. And they are because I had issues with them..
Yes they are, and used on GM marques worldwide.
Back in 2007 the same issue, failed with a leak. I sold the car at the time because I couldn't afford the GM parts.
Then my other GM brand vehicle also sprung a leak but that time I fought back and repaired it.. took a whole Saturday as I recall to fix all that.
Video Yes Please.
A day in the life of a mechanic. Loved it! Already saw you replace those power steering lines, so no need to tell you to do that one.
Yes I would like to see the video
I’d love to have that dodge, I have 2 already but may as well start a collection
I am personally hurt by the hurtful dodge comment 😢
Wire a damn house with your cables
I have a 2008 Nissan frontier It's pretty easy to get parts for that
I don't suffer from insanity . . . .
I enjoy every minute of it
I hope you ordered what looks like another o-ring at the ps pump – 18. Get it in, apart, almost back together and BAM – another week waiting on an o-ring.
This video shows flexibility in task masters ! Same honey do list !
I had a 2004 TB, and had to replace one of those lines. Not my favorite job! For some reason, the engine bay layout in mine was slightly different and I had to disassemble the fuse block to get to it in and out. I was cursing GM for putting in that damn moisture trap around those lines! Love your content!
Some days you do the best you can
Nice dodge upfit chassis! Love upfit trucks. So many cool things can be done with them
My truck 1 keep a roll of paper towels . Blot the oil to see color. One time had an oil leak but use paper towels . To check mess and found green mixed in at same time trurned out my pan gasket was bad but also water pump under load was leaking. Told mechanic he said I need pan gasket only went to shop hit it with paper towels he saw the green lowers my truck started reving it slightly leaking at pump. Saved second trip to shop. Might have had to be towed in. Now he checks with paper towels to . Never know when it's more than I thing leaking.when it messy. Mechanics love working on my trucks and cars I keep engine bay clean. I little love better air on motor it also helps them find leaks faster.. Time is money for me also.
JB weld?
Yes, show the video of the power steering lines replacement.
Drive all around more to see.
I often go down below to have a look at her bottom side also. "She don't mind" 😉
I would like to see the video on the power steering pump line replacement, you're an outstanding mechanic and like all your vids…..
'it's a Dodge thing, it's why they come with built-in tow hooks'… I assume Dodge cars have heated rear windows too?
Love you constant FUN repairs and how you think, makes me re-think how I think.
you missed seeing #7….. the other line
I had a 08 trailblazer with the 4.2l and right around 100k miles the trans cooler lines rotted out and busted. I loved everything about it except for the reliability since it failed me many times and nearly turned me against GM products. But then my wife got a 14 malibu with the 2.5l 4 banger and it was one of the best cars we ever owned. We put over 200k miles on it and never had any major issues I just did the regular maintenance myself and we recently traded it off and still got 6 grand for it so I was definitely happy with that car.
You lose a lot of power from using long jumper cables like those. Remember your dealing with dc voltage and it doesn’t travel well long distances. Edison found that out the hard way.
