Damn my Jeep gets around. Literally have the exact same grey 2012 Jeep “lizardly”
Liked and Positive comment for the YouTube algorithm.
This video I liked it a lot ,keep up the great work. WOW very interesting 1st class very kool great info.,, AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great
Nice Job there! It reminds me that I have to have my system checked as well.
I always pucker up when I take my car to a mechanic. There is always something that needs to be fixed in a car, lol
Love watching your videos and as a retired AF guy i really liked your gauge streamer. Respect
your wife must be a very patient woman, dealing with someone like you, with a vivid imagination
😀
truck breaks down every month? Get a new truck? I wouldve busted him and said find a good mechanic.🤣
Just curious, does that UV dye kind of wear off or lose sensitivity over time? When I bought my car the a/c didn't work. It had a sticker under the hood that said dye had been added at a dealership (the sticker had the MOPAR logo on it). When I took it to get the a/c fixed I told the mechanic about the dye but once it was done he said he didn't see any evidence of it.
Lol I need that Warning sign for work!🤣🤣🤣
god theses valves start leaking? can't manufactures use better quality parts my guess wont happen on Toyota ?
to avoid injury dont tell me how to do my job. This made my day
Is that a Dodge Turismo 2.2 pickup in the adjacent bay??
I haven’t done anything to the A/C in my 2002 Camaro and it’s working fine! However I rarely ever use it.
We can’t afford new cars and high fuel prices are supposed to push us to more expensive electric? Horses will make a comeback first!
DON'T FORGET THE TEMP-O-METER! I liked the big red Remove flag on the other one. You should put one of them on all your Temp-O-Meter thingys.
I want my knife to be that sharp as well 😂
I want that Rampage!
Just for reference, how much do you charge a change of this valve ?
I have a 2 part question. Many of your videos have you replacing the entire Schrader Valve if the o-ring is leaking. Would it not be cheaper in the long run for everyone involved to just replace the faulty o-ring or is it too time consuming thus, the labor cost increases? In your follow up video on the same Jeep, you didn't replace the entire fuel injector, just the o-ring in that instance so maybe you see my confusion? I'm not a pro. I'm just a guy that works on cars as a hobby. my 2nd question is again about A/C. When you remove all of the refrigerant from a vehicle in to that machine you roll out, does it mix with refrigerant from other vehicles? What about the dyes and oils all mixing together when you add a charge back in to that vehicle…..isn't it all mixed together? Thanks in advance for answering. I love the channel and your extremely good at showing the viewer the best angles possible and typically explaining your process of seduction. Keep up the good work. I've only had one issue with a job you did out of the hundreds posted.
Jeep junk
When you recover the refrigerant, can you use it again?
Lol. Negative Ghostwriter. 😂 You're age shows now so does mine.
I love watching your channel. I learned alot more about cars and what to look for. They need more mechanics like you. Honest and caring for the cars you work on.
2003+ Saab 9-3s always seem to leak out the low side valve.
Like how you found a problem 🤔 just by listening 🎶, nice job 👏 👍 👌
Remove before flight! 😂 Did you get tired of losing thermometers? 😂
Muy bueno. God bless America
I love your videos Ray I have been a tech for about a year but I kinda jumped the gun and already went flat rate and I gotta say just from watching your videos in my down time I pick up so many things…I just wanna say thank you for posting your day to day work and giving the commentary….thank you
Cool blue Subaru Brumby in the adjacent stall!
I like to squirt some Nylog in the plastic caps before reinstalling, makes me sleep better if nothing else, lol. I've also had new schrader valves leak as well, very annoying. I've searched and searched but there is not really a replacement or anything better than a schrader valve.
All those o rings and assortments you have, do you have to buy them yourself or does the employer. You always seem to have an extra something here and there. Thanks Ray, or any other person who can answer. As you can guess, not a mechanic, hence dumb question. Thanks.
Hey All mechanics watching there's some great company's in Florida that deal in green brake cleaner and de greaser and contact them ,so he doesn't spray that bad ass stuff and kill himself and some have spray cans to. Ray is a 65 yr old mechanic in a 30 yr old body We love ya ray .
They are getting really effective with these recommended videos. I just finished doing a/c service valves and orifice tube on my car. Finished and went to watch YouTube. And this video is at the top of my recommendations. I never said a word to anyone during the repair and parts were purchased last year. This is getting personal.
Ray? Why do you use every now and then german words in between?!
Your professional contents are fun to watch, thanks for that. My only concern while watching this was you left the valve open to atmosphere for a period while supplying the Schrader valve. We do some industrial refrigeration work, and never do this since filter dryer (FD) might adsorb the ambient moisture instead of refrigerant, even we always change the filter dryer once the system is opened to atmosphere. How about the car ACs? Is it common to change FD? Just curious, otherwise your videos are just amazing and very helpful.
Just change the valve and repressure the a.c. unit… it's the same thing with tires if the valves are old worn or just poorly fitted it will leak so to repressive the unit without replacing the valve is a no go
Is no one going to comment on the amazing Rampage in the next stall?!?!?
Ray, to get optimum reverse clickage, you must use the other hand to normal. Good spotting on the vacuum leak.
LOL!! As a Pilot of General Aviation Cessna 152 and Cessna 172, I LOVE the "Remove before flight" tag on your temp gauge.. 😎
I'm glad to hear Peter. I haven't heard him in the last few videos.
Why are the A/C valves different sizes?
