In this video I have a look at a 2008 Dodge Charger that was towed in with a stability, ABS, traction control problem. The customer complaint is that you can't get the car to go over 40mph. Doesn't take long to see what is happening. However our little friend rust is going to make this a tough job. -Enjoy!

You are a good man Mr O helping a last in distress. Kudos to you.
i would have given her a salvage yard #-omg
Your just a good guy. I would do what you did.
When your heart is true its hard not to be a nice guy
Looks like it was presprayed with salt when new. Good job trying to help the lady. Don't miss that crusty crap.
Love your videos. Even own one of your shirts. Always been curious what kind of camera you use though.
Why not use an induction rather than Acetelene?🙃
Did you give up 'PB Blaster' for lent or something?
When I used to work for Pontiac they had a finance program for repairs like this ( at a reasonable interest rate). This usually gave the guys cart blanche to sell as much as possible and line everyone's pockets…
My mother brought my grandfather’s newer car to Fl from upstate Ny..(Booneville area)..had a brake issue…looked under it and sold it to a guy for parts…the car was GONE..!!
Looks like the whole suspension needs replacing.
My squid comment: nicely done!
if i stuck my ingersol on there
I think you like the challenge of a difficult repair ( pain in the butt ) I enjoy your channel and appreciate your honesty
Your doing a good job brother.
I just think these newer chargers are just garbage.. they look good but too much computer crap in them..I like the old ones better
My 69 Chevelle didn't have that much rust. Atlanta built, Southern survivor.
I got a flat on rt 390 Henrietta ny
Found a small pair of vise grips in my tire I couldn’t believe it
Looking at the hole in the tire you’d never have guessed
What would happen if you pulled the fuse on those sensors and just left it without
Do u always replace the axle seals for the rear diff my shop does not?? Just a wondering. I know old video.
Good ol gasatchet
Seeing this stuff and hearing how you explain what all goes into fixing rusty northern cars makes me so happy I fix cars in texas.
Watching this 2x. Enjoy watching you overcome the struggle.
Where is part 2?
I couldn't work on cars in your area I would pull all my hair out.
Wow you're little girl is getting so big so fast feels like yesterday when she was just 5 .
You made some incredibly astute repairs, & hopefully she is somehow making a plan to come up with a new car. We don’t know this unfortunate person’s backstory but maybe you just got her enough time to get something better.
At least your honest just remember a happy customer is a returning customer
Meet me at the playground after school Mr. O
How much salt do you use there
I used to have a 2007 Charger. Buying that car was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made…These things constantly have electrical problems and the sub frames in the back are usually rotted way beyond repair anywhere in the NE. Driveshaft center support bearings are usually trashed. They do look cool though and are comfy on the highway.
I thought things were bad in Aluminium land (UK). But gee, the rust you blokes(guys) have to put up with. Respect!
you'd have done her a favor if you had forced her to buy a new car……pleading and whining about an end stage car that she just can't live without usually rapidly disappears within 24 hours of being faced with the real possibility of riding a bicycle to work. ….people can be overemotional and have some separation anxiety, but they get over it real quick when reality sets in
great stuff….you are a sorta miracle worker
Yummy
The Guys telling you to do that . Rip her off raise your rates 3x etc . Those are mechanics in Florida . Trust me I know !!
Feel sorry for you Eric, that New York rust id terrible! we have rust here in lower Mi. but it is not that bad!
if i stuck my sons plastic john deere ratchet on there….
I take these cars on as a challenge I inform the customer it may go downhill yeah sadly how many customers think because they've been screwed over by numerous other so called mechanics they're gunshi they're gunshi they don't believe that this is gonna be so they might not taking it somewhere else and like what you did you took your time you beat different sockets on And you got the stuff to come apart I have seen where people have taken a torch and just absolutely destroyed stuff lead destroyed stuff and I wind up with it back now I get to unscrew what they screwed up Buddha had I just been able to do it right from the get go what a better lot cheaper form but that's the game you play When you're dealing with schisters out there Jennifer Michigan state master auto truck ASE master Auto truck
Where’s Mr. Nasty?
I hope you made a couple tool man payments for the kid after abusing his bran spankin new impact gun.
Charger's insides are covered in some kind of gunk…check out the rv mirror and windshield. Possible offgassing?
Dude. Tell that woman to wash her car every now and then. I live in Albany. We have a 2006 scion. Nowhere near the rust of that car. Charger her triple!!!!
Although Snap-on guy was not happy when I return my Snap-on air gun yes me why I go well you can't even listen to simple tire lug in because you're crazy I pulled out my Chicago Pneumatic that I bought at the flea market for $40 and that thing rips outside off and we put the Snap-on on it no movement he goes to the truck and get some another new one then we try using that and it didn't do any better and then I took all the bolts and whip them all off at the Cheapo $40 and he okay I'll give you a refund or credit still using that airgun 40 years later
Parked in the carport too long getting weather on on one side of the car it got into the sensor ran to the bottom of it and left a nice rust spot
Hey lady bring your car and when time and she couldn't get it to go more than 25 but turns out that she was using the spare key which is a valet key in the valet key we kept the computer locked out the car going to more than 25
"you mother lovin son of a who who" WTF is that!? I'm having a hard time breathing, that's too good!
Could have done this in the drive way with hand tools! KEKW, okayy.
