Thank you for this video i went to buy the parts and was going to attempt this on my own but after seeing the turn on the caliber i think it will be best to just take it in . And i did know about the open the cap up under the hood where brake fluid is from the book .
Have a 2017 Escape and something is messed up with the rears in general. Mine look just like those with a streak down the middle and most of the rotor never making contact. Tons of complaints on this from BBB but no recall. I only have 22,000 miles on it also. Thanks for the video, going to do this in the next few days.
My girlfriend has one of these turds. Anybody able to tell me what the dash rattle/squeak is?? Dead center above/behind the stero/screen
Give it a good ol thump and it’ll go away for a second but sounds like a little bird back there. Don’t really wanna tear the dash down to find a blower motor or actuator squeaking up against something or a piece of plastic rubbing. Hoping for an easy fix.

So I won't have to worry about maintenance mode on a 2014 Escape? Correct? Also you are the first video where I seen the tabs (or whatever) on the screw in piston have to be lined up a certain way when putting the pads back on?

Replaced rotors and pads on a 2013 Escape and now the passenger rear clicks until i brake. When brakes are released it starts clicking again. What could it be please.

What does putting the brakes in service mode do anyway? watched another guy just crank the piston in, and it worked fine.
Some technical writer was looking at the piston diagram from the 'brown POV'.

Hey all I need HELP!…after 4 or 5 hours of messing (well i keep it g rated) with my 2005 buick lesabre' Okay after finally get the damn bolt off. I'm having trouble lining up the brake pad (yes it is correct) I also had trouble doing this one the mustang too. Is there any tip on how to get the damn pad in its home. I got it lube up too and the clips in. Video mech make it look so easy. Needing help in Indiana. Thanks

Will have left/right thumb switch for 4AMP draw; LED always on front pointing high power single white LED (w/both neg/pos connected) to see contact point, under hood, under vehicle. Still working the electronic mechanisms – mounted within a Standard Size 12 VDC light, Eric.
Running a recently bought a 2008 Escape XLT, 60K. Also just rec'd a LAUNCH CR629 OBD2 Scanner. Going to learn all (most all) and scan around town, vehicles with the "Money Light" on, $20.00, and if wanted +$10.00 to research and email deeper results from LAUNCH & Web.

I still think you do one wheel brake jobs, you just reverse the camera and tell us it's the other side. LOL JK..
