In an effort to salvage a video I came out with this one. I have been messing with a screen recorder on my Autel 908 and it really messed up on the first vid to the point it just wasn't usable. Needless to say I drag you along for "Part 2" and try to salvage what I can. Oh well, some days you get the bear and some day the bear gets you. -Enjoy!

My truck when I’m crossing then let off to come to a stop and idle starts misfiring then taking off misfires hesitates then clears up getting to much fuel
what scan tool are you using
I have an ‘08 Silverado with a Cyl 2 misfire. I’ve changed the likely culprits like plug/wire/coil pack and nothing. Seems to do it when it’s hot more so than cold ambient temps. You have me thinking injector now but I was leaning toward new upper manifold gasket and valve cover gaskets in case I had some air sucking in causing it to run lean and that making it trigger. It has 143k on it. TIA
Do you show an injector PICO test anywhere elses / another video demo? why not spray fluid film for oring lube? the rings are nitrile or viton so can withstand oil are they not?
Great Job Bro! I enjoyed watching your work in diagnostics on the 5.3L.
To remove the passenger side fuel rail, the t6 bolt that holds the cross tube bracket on the rail. How I’m gods name to get that Brantley back on so you can use the e6 socket to put that bolt back it. When I cranked my 6.2 08 Escalade after injector replacement on that side, it spits fuel out of that cross tube port on the rail.
2,4,6,8 were pretty much equal, and 1,3,5,7 were pretty much equal, the way I was looking at your graph.
Absolutely brilliant explanation, I am glad you give us a view in your diagnostic process and provide us logical, easily understandable information. You really make us feel it is so easy to diagnose those problems, greetings from Romania, I am definitely your fan! Keep up the great work 👍
I have a 07 GMC Sierra Classic. I tell everyone it's a 06. Saves a lot of confusion.
Thanks!

Thanks that was very informative. My 09 has a misfire. I appreciate the info.
Hey so literally last night my check engine light came on out of no where started blinking on an off and started a pretty heavy knock I gave it a scan and it says unburnt gas may be clogging my cat so I was wondering would new injectors and new cat fix my problem possibly?
My 2000 Silverado 5.3 has an occasional misfire
Really like your video, having problems with my 5.3. what brand of scan tools are you using? I want to update my little one.
Do you know how that injector broke to allow more fuel? I can understand an injector pushing no fuel or less fuel, but more … hmmm
Hahaha, I sneezed right before you fell or whatever happened that was perfect!
We need a technician like you in central California 😄
When autos were a whole lot easier to work on the first thing we would do is a compression test or balance test to establish we had a good motor
helped me figure out a few things on my junk. thanks. PDAWG
"My OSHA approved bucket slipped" 😆 🤣 😂
I have the same problems but my injectors are insect (4.6) even older stuff.i kinda wish my stuff was newer. But it is what it is. When running it gets great gad mileage and I love it I bought another and plan on fixing it too.
Eric…..I wish your shop was near my vicinity, because you would be my personal Technician 👍👍
Could that be causing it to waste more gas
Help tremendously thank you fix my truck. Same cylinder thought it may have something to do with the AFM
Am I really only one that can't stand this douch he's one of them that thinks he's the shit with a little know how you can fix it your self I fix all my shit without stupid computers and code scanners if you have to have a damn computer fix your issue then your not much of a mechanic and if you have to look everything up on your damn fone then again you suck
A few years ago I helped diagnose an 80s car which had a nasty misfire and was belching out white smoke from the LH exhaust with a STRONG smell of petrol.
No on board diagnostics, but it did the same with that bank of injectors unplugged.
It had those old Bosch injectors which connect to the fuel rail with hose, so we pressure tested the rail with all the injectors out.
Turned out one of the injectors was just stuck wide open like a fire hose. The white 'smoke' was unburned petrol.
for what you charge or any shop a plstic clip you wont include in your price ..what a shame you mihgt fix something for the temp situation and pass it back is what i see ../i do real work and i sont charge for such
What kind of under the hood light is that? I could use one of those.
I have a 4.3 sidi in chevy siverado could please tell me what they were doing back in 2014?
Would an attached fuel pressure gauge on the rail also help show a lower overall fuel pressure with engine running?
You know they make O-ring lube right….. right product for the right application…
I seem to be the only person with an audio clip of a chevy 5.3L LS misfire sound cause no matter how many times I look it up, nothing pops up except the wrong stuff.
Great video. Thank you
2005 chevy silverado 1500 z71 replaced all coils plugs wires 02 senors still miss fire low powe bucking advance put on scanner just says miss fire but dosent say what cylinder help
You can leave clips on injectors…works perfect. Have seen many young guys that never lube o rings….and have leaks and redo's. You do good work, no doubt, sharp as a tack. I would get WD40 by the gallon and use spray bottles. Guys would snicker at first….then kneel later and ask for help.
Those metal clips are very important because of the high pressure those injectors are subject to. 1000 Lexington Ave Rochester NY 14606 is where that injectors and fuel rail are made. That rail is also very delicate. We used brazing past for all the connections and run it through a oven to weld it together.
Boy did the engine like live in the desert 🏜 or is that just a lot of mud on the top of the motor?
Maybe sometime you could do a short video covering what some of the values should be on a normal operating car. For example fuel trim numbers, Bank 1 and bank 2, short-term long-term, O2 sensors things like that. ( I drive a 2015 Veloster 1.6 turbo DCT ) not necessarily for my specific car but just a general range of normal operation. I love your videos. They help alot.
How do you know that whatever the injectors that were installed weren't the wrong injectors to begin with? You said somebody had been messing with them maybe they put the wrong injectors in. I haven't watched the whole video but it seems to me it would make more sense to check a couple parts dealers to see what injectors were a match. Because if those injectors were not original then you are putting in the wrong injectors because you believe them to be the correct injectors.
04 avalanche keeps killing the battery…. Help me please
I bought a Chevrolet Silverado 2000 with the 5.3 engine yesterday and took it to get the emissions for it and failed because of a misfire in cylinder 7. Im not sure how bad it is because I went for it 2 hours away from where I live and it drove like nothing! Should I be worried?
Thank you for sharing information this in depth.
'that happens when someone's been pulling it in and out, not lubing it up, nicking the end off the rubber' 🤣😂 that sir is how you become parents….
OSHA needs to update their bucket regulations. Going to get someone killed! Thanks, think I have an injector issue as well.
You were correct on the injector clip it is designed to stay on the injector during installation and its keep it from being dropped and lost another great video very entertaining keep up the great work
I bought a 2004 Silverado that had a bad misfire and flashing engine light code P0300…Changed bank 2 fuel rail and the injectors on bank 1. Fixed it…
My Chevey Silverado Lt with the Big six liter moter had a loose number six spark plug wire ! Lol
