Can you help me out, on a 2009 Ford fusion the pins are different length on the front caliper. holder Does the longer pin go on top or the bottom . One side is opposite to the other and I don't know which is the wright way and can't find that info anywhere, thanks!
there is one I think it's the lower control arm on the front that you have to lower the subframe a little bit to get the bolt out. I learned so much from your videos thank you cuz I have a fusion just like that one.
Wow 💥 is this guy good' – or what !!
Napper is NOT a sponsor. I can’t go to NAPA without saying that when I walk in the door.
To put the control arm on your vehicle
Inner pad should say inner not outer.
Gonna try some ham & horse radish in 2021!
It’s great to hear Hannah working alongside dad.
Just did one of these, used a pitman arm puller to get the bushings off and a ball joint press to put them back in the knuckle
Yes Hannah was correct. Equilateral.
🎼🎼🎼🎼👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Eric know your videos are greatly appreciated I’ve learned a lot since following you and thanks to this video I’ve ended a few months of trying to find a correct control arm because the width of the male end I thought to be different was just a removable sleeve to take off and slap onto the new control arm.
Great video. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Looks like you know your stuff. I’m happy to know what Thanksgiving foods you like to eat. I’d ALSO liked to have learned what that purple lube was called and why you use it. Or shown the difference between the old and new break pads. I’ve watched two of your videos and they are excellent. For the people who know your style or know what they are doing they can fast forward to what they need to know. For people like me, who just are looking to be an informed consumer, I appreciated the other video where you are talking through what you are doing and why. I watch a ton of videos and don’t comment because I don’t feel like my comment would make a difference. I appreciate your willingness, time and effort it takes to put these videos together.
Eric, great video. I have to ask why i don't see you cutting rotors, just replacing them? Here in Soviet Jersey they put strong pressure on shops to cut them and not use new Chiniseum rotors
A Ford Fusion that hasn't gone nuclear? What a find.
Pay me now or pay me MORE later.
Rusty ford fusion .. jeez
I enjoyed the conversation. 🙂
Got to love New York salt
Sittin here watchin Dr.O beat on a Ford while polishing the brass frame of my new Uberti Ahhh.._.Lifes good.
Ramekin. Learned something new today. Never heard that word ever in 54 years.
You mention the LCA tool from Sim in your pinned comment but I didn't see you use it in this video. Am I blind or missing something?
WHOA! A vid without a scan tool?! What's the world coming to..
I like the wrenching videos. Enjoy seeing these NY rust buckets getting fresh parts.
Cold turkey dipped in miracle whip… I just had the momentary epileptic chills… you know the one.
looked like you put the outer pad on the inside.
if the caliber does not press back right was that up front parts and labor?
OK Eric,, How about giving up your recipe?
You only told your customer they needed brakes so you could whip out the brake cleaner 😉
We need that cheese souffle recipe.
And another thing to do with left over mashed potatoes is to make gnocchi.
Is that Hannah I hear?? How's school treating you, we miss you giving Eric a hard time
You're both right. Every equilateral triangle is isosceles.
GOOD JOB
Dr O says " When bushings are loose, big nasty gets use"
Tell me about it I live on mid Michigan I'm freezing my nuts off
I noticed that you mentioned that in new york you cannot fail for a loose ball joint. So my question to you is can they refuse to give you the inspection sticker for not letting them replace your cabin air filter?
You repair cars like Steve Vai plays guitar; it doesn't even look like you're thinking about what you're doing. You could fix cars blindfolded and make it look easy.
Napa Coated rotors and adaptive one pads nice sale
this is now a cooking show, not a car repair show
A triangle is scalene if all of its three sides are different (in which case, the three angles are also different). If two of its sides are equal, a triangle is called isosceles. A triangle with all three equal sides is called: Equilateral.
Do you need to clean the fluid film off of the lug nut threads? I hear mixed input online. Thanks.
What is the hardest thing u had to fix
Ford does like their weird weights in the strangest locations…
So is your bro gonna start doin some big truck vids?
Thanks for bringing me along.
