+1 on buying used tool boxes, I built up 2 used matco 7525 boxes with a side drawer cabinet over time hunting the adverts. Refinished the paintwork externally and got stainless tops cut and formed . gives me over 124" long light duty bench/countertop and plenty drawer storage . Last me my lifetime and fraction of cost of going new, can't loose buying used truck boxes if buy wisely .
Eric, time to bring another mechanic into SMA to take the load off of you. Even if you barely break even on his or her salary, you will have someone to talk to, you will be happier everyday, and you will live longer without all the emotional pressure and physical exertion of having to do all the work.

Hey Eric I love your channel and tune in every Wednesday for your live stream. Your popcorn joke had a lasting effect on my wife and I (more so my wife). Last night while laying in bed with the wife fast asleep I cut one that was particularly bad. So bad in fact it woke my wife up out of a dead sleep. While she was gagging and cursing me out the only thing I could manage to say before laughing hysterically was "Do you smell popcorn?"
I feel the same way about tool boxes – people are nuts paying 5-figures for a friggin box! I remember when I worked in a motorcycle shop in AZ, this one guy was making PAYMENTS on his Mac box! Had some fancy paint, and yeah .. it's good quality … but to go into DEBT for a TOOLBOX??? NUTS, IMO. I bought a chinese Atlas box for $700 and I'm completely happy with it – just need a little more space, so I may have to buy another lower section.
I'm right there with you on the stress level of 9.5 – I may be at a 9.9 after this week. Part of the reason I've missed your last 3 WUW chats. My mom passed away this past Sunday morning. I had been staying down there for the past 4 days. She had super-aggressive cancer in pretty much every system of her body. Been real tough. Funeral is tomorrow, so it ain't over yet. I'm hanging in there, actually better than I had expected. She was only 72 – feel like I got gyped out of 20 years. Anyway, she's with the Lord now, and not suffering anymore – that's a big comfort. Got alot of great friends and neighbors that help keep my head up.
Sorry for the downer – figured I'd let you, and anyone else that cares know. Lots of great people here, including you and your family. Thanks for listening. God bless.

If it did the owners Mauro & Massimo took care of me and my entire Lockheed Martin crew while I was over there and spoiled us silly including letting me drive his cars from @ a 28 bay garage on his estate that was massive & yes he let me drive his Lambo, Ferrari and Porshe…talk about $$ and taking care of us Americans…almost didn't want to leave.
