Ok guys you asked for it so you got it! Here is a short video from my brothers shop as he just finished the MILLION MILE service on this 2000 International 9900I with a Cummins ISX CM570 engine that produces 600HP. This rig rolled in with 934,000 miles on the clock and was in need of an "In-Frame Overhaul". Now that the pistons, sleeves, main bearings, rod bearings, one of the cams and a new cylinder head just to name a few things, it is time to adjust the valves, injectors and exhaust brakes. Let's see what this is all about!

Love the variety of videos.
A corn field caddy
That is why the liner breaks
The block lip has to be shaved with a special tool to make it straight & put a shim to get 14 thousands liner hieght
Where did he get the feeler gauge handles
The rack process has been basically the same for 35 yrs. Gotta love it
Fun fact: the term Rack comes from old Detroit engines that actually had a rack that controlled the injectors. Today you would call it overhead adjustment
15 too young, 36 too old, 24 just right, the way I taught firing order to students in diesel overhaul in the USN….
Detroit you run the rack. ( looks like a rack of ribs is why the slang term exists). Everything else is "Do the overhead" as in over head cam. Anyhow nice video. I'd love to see an overhaul, or some EGR tuneup. Doser , turbo, DOC, Regen…love the video. Thanks.
Not understood yet that why injector camshaft always bigger than valve camshaft? And… and where is ifsm gear pump gets power to rotate from??????
im a medium duty diesel tech and your brother is a badass. i strictly stay with electrical diag and aftertreatment. hats off to the folks overhauling these engines
I wish your Brother had a Diesel Channel. I feel that there is a Lack of Diesel Channels on YouTube explaining the ReBuilding of Diesel Engines. Was there any other Videos Other than this one?
Soooooo soooo cool could be twins! Even have the same voice to ๐
Love the HD videos ๐ค
Do You A;;, Brother too Do Detroit and Caterpillar engines too? Others?
I love to learn stuff like this thanks guys.
This is cool watching your old videos of diesels. Have a Chevy 95 K1500 6.5L TD. I can relate to it.
Thank You very informative. Wished we could have gotten in on the overhaull
Interesting video. Appreciate your sharing.
Wtf I was literally like "man I wish there was a south main auto channel to teach me about big trucks to help me with my job" and boom
๐๐
What's the old saying do it twice or it ain't done right
The younger generation should be watching a video like this, but no you're too busy looking at cell phone
Been a long time I haven't seen one of those in years it's a thing of beauty
That is one of the best coming engines ever made and very dependable, simple basic engine
My ISX had 1.3 million and still running great when I retired and sold itl
Hi from uk, รงummins L10 and m11 have same liner in block arrangement from memory.
this shit is just so cool man. i love it
Still no YouTube! Waiting now.
Dang, these things still use the old York A/C compressor. I used to change them out on the old Mercedes diesels. How funny.
The manufacturers of these engines don't play the silly games consumer manufacturers do
Cute little turbo on a huuuuge engine.
I love carnage.
I have a cm2350 2016 kw t680 with 758k on the clock and so far shes been strong but im looking into getting a new head from atl diesel with all new cam, gears, rockers and everything its much better than the oem head ive heard anyways this is my 6th time? I think watching this vid i learn something new every time!
Great to see a family show a very mechanical family .

Awesome, we (the entire world) deserves, needs to see whatโs behind these monsters of the road that are our โlife supportโ. I canโt wait to see this you tube channel develop.
Let Eric teach the guys how to substitute family friendly phrases and words as necessary, when things donโt go as planned. Letโs call it Vanessaโs and Trinityโs influence toward being family friendly.
Gotta love it.
From Texas.
Background noise = REAL workin' shop = AWESOME !
Brags about buying stolen shit.
Ive donew alot of work on series 60 Detroits over the years
I love how the alternator looks on the motor! Great video, nice seeing your brother again
Bought that off a crack head, I think lol loving this channel, especially being a mechanic for 20 years. Covid made me change to warehouse work, but I don't miss it and still wrench on the side.
Thanks
Interesting ๐ง I didnโt ever expect to see you working on tractors. That cam is typical of ISX cm570 870 871 replaced my fair share out here in UTAH
As an early 1960's three ticket tradesman, general machinist, 3rd class stationary engineer, and heavy duty marine diesel mechanic (primarily military) myself, when you held up that connecting rod, my memory cells went from low idle to amber region on the tach in .0001 sec. Love your stuff Eric.
When I drove 26 ft box trucks I hated international branded trucks. Just didn't seem reliable. But the company I worked for never took care of there trucks
