Ok guys you asked for it so you got it! Here is a short video from my brothers shop as he just finished the MILLION MILE service on this 2000 International 9900I with a Cummins ISX CM570 engine that produces 600HP. This rig rolled in with 934,000 miles on the clock and was in need of an "In-Frame Overhaul". Now that the pistons, sleeves, main bearings, rod bearings, one of the cams and a new cylinder head just to name a few things, it is time to adjust the valves, injectors and exhaust brakes. Let's see what this is all about!

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars C B says:

Fun fact: the term Rack comes from old Detroit engines that actually had a rack that controlled the injectors. Today you would call it overhead adjustment

15 too young, 36 too old, 24 just right, the way I taught firing order to students in diesel overhaul in the USN….

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve says:

Detroit you run the rack. ( looks like a rack of ribs is why the slang term exists). Everything else is "Do the overhead" as in over head cam. Anyhow nice video. I'd love to see an overhaul, or some EGR tuneup. Doser , turbo, DOC, Regen…love the video. Thanks.

Awesome, we (the entire world) deserves, needs to see what’s behind these monsters of the road that are our “life support”. I can’t wait to see this you tube channel develop.
Let Eric teach the guys how to substitute family friendly phrases and words as necessary, when things don’t go as planned. Let’s call it Vanessa’s and Trinity’s influence toward being family friendly.
    Gotta love it.
