Got A/C? Well this guy didn't and he didn't have any heat coming out of the vents either. Matter of fact he didn't have any air flow at all! The blower motor was running so I had a pretty good idea as to what was going on. Lets have a look.

I watched over 40 videos on low air coming out of vents everybody directs me to the cargo filter it's a new one I still got no air coming out of vents does anybody out there no how to fix this it's a 2011 Infiniti q56 blower motor works actuators door blender all that moves out need some help
Stay with napa auto parts
My friends 2010 Honda Accord EX sedan had a similar problem With low air flow. Replaced the Interior cabin filter for her and after that maximum air flow. Ac was cold as well.
"She doesn't blow very well "
That's what HE said.
Omg that is one of the worst Cabin Air Filters I have seen wow @SouthMainAutoRepairLLC
On the older videos like these love the photos at the beginning before the video starts good work as always Eric O @SouthMainAutoRepairLLC
I change the cabin air filter every three oil changes… takes less than 5 minutes to replace. Cheap insurance for clean & fresh air!
I learned about cabin air filters last year. My impala had 178k miles before I knew it was a thing. Lmao
I have a 08 fusion has very low air flow out of all the vents. However this car doesnโt have a cabin air filter. I guess itโs built in. How can I clean it out when there is no removable filter
So, you did point the air flow arrow down on that new filter, right?
I'm a lady and need mine fixed. Wish you were closer. IN.
The cabin air filter is one thing I don't have to worry about on my '04 Trailblazer EXT, cause there ain't none!
I have the same care but my problem is: when I run the heater, the driver side is hot, passenger is cold. Any thoughts?
Just had mine changed yesterday. No dead animals but a crap load of other debris.
I would have tied his hinge parts together with a hot wax gun and his blend doors would have worked till it went to the crusher
I had almost no heat or AC for years, running the blower on high made it come out like on low, not great in Minnesota winters with rust holes in your doors. One day I finally took apart the blower assembly under the hood and found the metal grate on the firewall blocked up with maple seeds, I don't think that car has a paper cabin filter.
Dead center in the middle.
That happened to our 2012 Toyota Tacoma and the smell almost ruined that truck. I put a mouse blocker hooked to the battery and electric plug ins in the carport. Always trying to keep the mice out.
Just love those customers that dont read and best never read an owners manual. ๐ mechanic money 100%
I've seen a few of those…. Sigh. Imagine what the HVAC people see in homes!
So satisfying. If automotive engineers want to BURY necessary HVAC components behind the wall of the dash, shame on them; especially by filling those components with cheap plastic parts stressed at pivot points. My Ranger had the same broken tip on heat/cold blend door. Aftermarket replacement has a metal fitting at actuator attachment point.
I say delete the filter all together! Old cars never had them and never needed them. Great job as always by the way!
06 Nissan xterra 4.0 v6 has one but when I got the truck it didn't have a whole one in it only 1/2 of one so I picked up a new cabin filter for it and one side fits fine the other crushes in on the deeper inner part on the right side and leaves a gap is that normal or what the shop manual only says replace the filter and nothing more about it
do you have a video on 2005 subaru legacy no heat on passenger side
Awesome Video!
You're a boss
Ty
I changed the cabin air filter on my Prius and a mouse nest fell out.
Every time I turn on the fan switch in my car I hear a bird ๐ฆ
i change the cabin air filter and the air filter under the hood i have never seen a cabin filter that dirty
The amount of crap that manages to get into places it's not meant to always amazes me.
Everyone that buys any type of vehicle should get a training course of replacing cabin filters and air filters. Saves money and saves the cars down the road.
Why do we always carry so much 'rubbish' in the glove box…nice helpful video
She passed it like a kidney stone baby๐๐คฃ
Low air flow and no heat or cool air blowing nto my Mitsubishi L200 2009. What could be the cause/s or solution please? I'm real daft when it comes to this area of life.
Nice one , appreciated much!
How much could an oem part be? I don't get why you hate on napa parts but use them on your customers cars? Why? Do you even give them an option?
Bought a used car about a year ago. Had decent airflow, but had to put on the 2nd setting and had an odor with the ac on. Checked the cabin filter, it looked like a science experiment gone terribly wrong.
I always check my own filters…
Thank Dog you didn't keep doing that intro thing. For most people an intro lasting more than 5 seconds and I'm gone. Country music, I'm pausing the video, leaving a comment with lotsa swears, and then "Don't show me videos from this channel." ๐ Kidding. Love this channel.
"There's your problem lady"!
"She's just not a good blower"!
๐ ๐คฃ ๐
I did not know my car had one until watching youtube boy my filter is dirty.
7 :34 ….why would you NOT … drop the fan ….. 3 screws
Just changed the one in my daughter's Jetta. Hasn't been changed for a few years. Was surprisingly… Clean.
I've used that line before.
โ i said nobody bother me while Iโm cleaning my roomโ
She passed it straight to the evap core lol
This is going to give me nightmares. Omg
K & N has a cabin air filter ( cleanable) lasts a lifetime
cavalier 03 here, dont even have a filter…
This is why I do all my own services every spring I check my belts my plugs and replace my air intake filter cabin filter as well as my plugs if they need replacement I load test my battery and I test my alternator all of these things are maintenance and common folk always think ur trying to upsell lol! Also check ur brake pads and rotors I ended up replacing my knuckles my hub assembly's and all new brakes!
you will not make flat rate book time on this job lol. love your show.
