I think you forgot check oil compressor or you didn’t show it because you add none???
nice .das des dem das auto kkkk
So did you explain that the repair has a different part and that instead of getting an exact match you said, meh, it'll work, then broke the bolts because you refused to remove a fan out of stubbornness. I realize, 'so, it's a heat shield, this'll work' but it is not how the engineers designed it. Fail, Ray. And you hardly ever do that. I love this channel but I just had to rant on this one.
Just an observation lol
I noticed it took 5hrs from the time you got in the car and started to the time you ended the video
Is it part of your format to say do do dee do every time the phone ring? just wondering
Ray, don't know how you wear those surgical gloves, if on my hands 5 min., my hands are soaking wet with sweat…
hey @rainman ray's repairs you should get a 10mm ratcheting key chain XD
I'm actually impressed that the camera didn't have any static during the welding operation. That's a good unit. I think you did a great job!
To preserve your lower back function it's a good idea 💡 to do abdominal exercises so you don't develop a distended abdominal.
Never give up on great job
I like The stud idea {weld on bolt to replace broken bolt} Great Idea Ray!
Shouldnt you disconnect the battery first before welding?
There’s sure a lot of Nissan’s in your shop.
Just love the way you think out of the box
Did you NOT purge the lines before installing service lines??? Shouldn't you purge the tank to manifold line then the line to the service ports??? Just vundering….zee yah? Good job
And burnt eyeballs from welding without mask feels like your eyelids are sand paper for a week or so. Don't ask how I know
He musnt Arc Welding on Veee-Hikull with batterie connected
Why she didunt putt Antié-Seizé on Exhâust Bolts
Why doesn't always using Milwalke tools ¿¿¿¿
I remember those days when I worked at a Toyota /Oldsmobile dealer in the 70s I was an A mechanic taking home $650 a week working flat rate
2 in the pink 1 in the stink 😂😂😂
Did you change the valve stems? 😞
You didn't pre locate a bolt and nut combo? c'mon man. That said it is an Altima and deserves a decorative heat shied nut.
On this job, I thought the machine reused the old refrigerant??
would like to know why you always charge a AC on the high side I have been trained to charge it on the low side and why do you check the temperature of the center vent with the windows down just a driver window all windows should be up
You didn’t break it ray, by them being poor quality studs they were unable to be released as they should have been, why don’t manufacturers realise that putting inferior quality studs near heat will cause the studs to become distressed and weak, good job ray
"The music on my phone sounds like a dying 🐈 "LMFAO 🤣😆🤣😆🐈🗡🐈🗡
Love your choice of glove colors, do have blue days, white neutral days , pink days for feeling up tools, black days when there's a thundercloud brewing etc or are you just stuck with what they give you. Sorry catching up seen too many glove colors 🙂 Oh love the stud repair you could have used that on several of your videos I've watched (just as a temp/perm fix) depending on the cust or vehic. Sorry short (very) hand.
Mais um trabalho bem feito.
"That was a substantial amount of negative pressure" is mech speak for "That sucked!"
I had a Nissan, I was always breaking those plastic pins, so I spent less than $5 and bought a bag of 100. A few years later I sold the car, I still have about 75 of those pins. The fit other vehicles pretty well, so they're in my toolbox catch-all drawer.
Always fun to ride along with you. Stay safe!
I thought my Civic needed an ac clutch when I got it, did some googling and found that I should replace a $6 relay switch first.. and that worked! Been through 4 summers now.
I would also let people know that you disconnected the battery before you welded that stud on so that you did not burn up any electronics on the car. I learned this early on in my welding career when I was doing a quick weld on a trailer that was connected to a 2002 4Runner and smoked the radio. Yes the 4Runner was turned off.
"Where's Ray……..?!" 🙂
138K Nissan? Just about time for the oil pump to go – save that AC compressor for the next engine. Oh wait, that's not a Maxi V6 – never mind!
Only watching Ray can we do air conditioning in December. How bout a plugged heater core video Ray?
Love the “where’s Ray” story. Typical high strung personality guy would not get the mocking joke. Lol. Tx for the great videos !
Since you took out the welder anyways, why not weld a nut to the broken bolt and try to extract it? The heat from the welder would act as if you were heatin the bolt w a torch n loosen the rust.
made in china " oem" fitment …. lol , great vid
Why do you replace the whole compressor? Here in Europe(if you choose the right garage) they only replace the magnet and that's a lot cheaper!
⁉️ In regards to the broken bolts. Do you tell the customer or just the management ⁉️
Always fuunnnyyyyy
At least you’re not greedy you only asked for a 1/4 inch 😂
Welding rusty metal is like painting on sand… you finish it!
Trying to pull compressor out with dying cat music on the phone…. classic.
I think I would have ground those heads off and then welded to brackets.
iCrap is where you went wrong Ray. Maybe next time you should pick another company that actually cares about their customers… maybe you'll think about getting a Sam suck it, or a old LG MAN!
Damn we had to Nissan with bad clutches on the compressor last week at the shop one-we warrantied the compressor because it was knew the other one we replace only the magnetic clutch and left the other two pieces The Idler and clutch face original
