The worst has happened. This ford has eaten one of my sockets and it's a snap-on ultra thin low profile. It fell really far. Look at that there.
It is way way down there. I'm gon na get it. Where are you there? It is. I see you in there time for declaw victory.
Have you ever been walking down the street and you find some random tool laying on the side of the road? Well, now you know how it got there.
By the way Ray, some jobs on modern Land Rovwrs do involve removing the body. Piles of garbage
Ford was hungry 🤤
Ahh. The Claw.otherwise known as The nipple plucker 😀
Retrieved only to get lost on the tool chest again. JK nice Save Ray!
A man and his tools!
R.I.P. little socket.
Once tainted by the FORD curse…..there is no coming back….😂
LOL!🙂
I bet Ray was real good at those claw machines they used to have in restaurant lobbies.
"Nothing Beats the Claw" Many have tried so few have succeeded
he should of just installed a new radiator
Ooh the claw has chosen. You must follow the claw.
I was going to say get a saws all cut the bumper off lol 😂
"Houston, we have hard dock" Another tool rescued👍
he just total recalled his socket!
Those is why auto repair was never an option for me. If something falls inside I can't simply pick it up and shake it.
Almost 200 comments on a 1 minute video that was posted just for hours ago crazy
😅😅🤣🤣
I worked offshore for 37 years and I used that tool to pick up everything from Zippo lighters, ink pens, bolts, nuts, sockets, combination wrenches etc. that fell through the grating into the skid below. A very handy tool.
Years ago I pulled wrenches on a simi truck fleet.
I lost count of how many wrenches I sent to
Salt Lake City.
!
I wish my tool eating F450 V10 was as easy of a recovery. I dropped my shorty 1/4" drive ratchet with modified 5/16" socket down the hole where the radiator crossmember was removed. So it went down into the "U" of the cab. As many 7.3's as I have pulled, that's never happened. Guess the truck is angry because I'm taking away 2 cylinders. It should be happy because not only am I adding a gear, I'm also adding AC and electric windows! If it doesn't cooperate, I'll turn it upside down and get my tools! Lol!
Best video ever !…." THE CLAW " comes out to save the day ….
That LED bar on the front of the truck should be outlawed. WAY too bright for oncoming traffic.
What? no 6.0 horror stories? in 2 years my work truck cost my boss a turbo, starter, alternator, then an entire new engine. the engine job alone was $11000!
I was ready to make a buzz noise if you hit something pulling it out
Did you see any older 10mm in there? I think I'm missing like 6 of them….
Alway go after your tool, I have found a lot of tools over the years working on cars, most of them snap on branded, I don’t think they are covered for loss… funny never a 10mm socket.
Would have been gone forever if it had been a 10mm socket
So slow and gentle to retrieve his valuable SnapOn socket, and then he hurls it into a pile of junk, lol.
How dare you throw a 10mm like that. You know it will never be found again. You must treat it like a king so it doesn’t run away /s
If it not a 10mm socket you don't need it anymore and that socket you just pick up looked bigger than a 10mm. 👍🇺🇲☮
HA, then he just chucks it on the work bench
"Not da craw da craw!"
I have one of those telescopic magnetic tool finders, now if I cause just find it. Its been MIA for about a year now.
VICTORY!
lemme just toss it… meh, over there somewhere. That way I'll only find it when I don't need it, sometime next month (after replacing it twice over).
Pork chop bone old yeller
The craw not the claw.
Better retrieved than it freeing itself while the car is doing speed on a highway and some victim getting a super fast close up of a socket.
Must not have been a 10mm, you'd never get THAT back.
I was in genuine suspense there for a sec, the kind you get watching somebody else on a claw machine, could be the Florida but I did start to sweat there a small bit lol
I like doing as much of my repairs as I can. With that said, I have a 2001 Subaru Outback and a Honda Goldwing both that I sold riding the roads with 10mm sockets hiding within their frames. I have an extra 10mm socket on my keychain.
Called for R2D2 Unit
Must have been a 10mm!
You should get into the real merch game. You have the following and a lot of your sayings would make for great shirts.
You should look around in that area, Ray. You might find the portal to that dimension where all the 10mm sockets go.
Maxwell Smart, Agent 86… "…not the Craw.. the Craw..".
Somehow I knew you would get it lol well done 👍
"Nothing can stop the CLAWWWW!!!" – Jim Carry
Nothing escapes, Ze claw 😈
If that would have behind your box 🤣 but since it didn't its a win
F'd Over Rebuilt Dodge.
I just found a really old 4" 3/8" drive extension made by snap on canada! Sometimes I find sockets on the road so I always stop when I think I spot one. Twice now, a Gray 15mm deep socket and a 21mm twelve point craftsman.
take it anyway you can
…"It again oh yeah it's becoming a claw. You think it'd stop run boy run save yourself"…
I have this mental image of the next big hit for all workshops lol .. a carnival claw game in every mechanics shop with tools in the prize pit! call it Rainman's Gravity Claw!
Loved the toss!!! From brain surgical removal to rocket trajectory to the box top.
Finally a good excuse for buying cheap tools, I don't wanna have to fish back a $10+ socket
"ultra thin low profile" obvously not thin enough…
Them long grabby things barley get used. But it is priceless! Mine has a magnet on the end also.
I have one of those claw tools with a tiny LED light built into the claw end that turns on when you start to press the button to open the claw. Really nice for grabbing things in dark areas.
Go Ray, never give up 😁👌
😂😂😂💪💪💪
Little known fact, Ray holds the world championship trophy for 'operation'
''not 'the craw', THE CRAW'!'' with apologies to maxwell smart.
Night of TERROR. WARNING those of a nervous disposition look away.. The Socket and Claw.
The grabber and the magnet on a stick are critical tools 🙂
How satisfying is that ??
nicely done sir
Love it.
surely, you must have one of those little telescoping magnets….. 🙂
The care to get it back, and effort. Followed by just dumping it on the side randomly. I would definitely do the same 😂
Built in Canada Apollo space arm trial ! You guys goin there again? LOL good one !
Now it is lost in the toolbox top debris field.
Bet the claw comes in handy when using the bathroom
Lost socket… "The Claw Knows" Ha Ha Ha!!!
That's where I do my tool shopping-find alot of tools under hoods.
That would have been classic if it was a 10 mm socket!
So you just throw it back on the table to be eaten by the table monster? 😂
My luck I’d toss on the bench, hit something hard, ricochet, hit the floor and find the only floor drain in the building 🤦🏻
You need a little porcelain bowl to drop the socket in. Like they do on TV when a surgeon removes a bullet.
I was in the basement the other day with the landlord when I spotted this Magical Tool on a shelf. I said that's what mechanics us when they drop stuff.
She said, "NO – That's for getting hair out of drains."
What does she know? Not much!
Extendo lighted magnet….saved my bacon many times
If you can see it, it's all good, as you can get it. It's the ones you can't see..
Ray I had a lot of a duramaxes eat lots of my sockets too! they have some great hiding places and some did not come back alive ,sent a lot of sockets out on the road to get shook out or not
Been there.. done that.. more than five times on the 05 F250 6.0 I drive. Always keep the claw or magnetic rod in close proximity when working on these things.
No way! That was easy!!
As long as it wasn't a 10mm everything will turn out good. 😂🤣😄😁😆
You must be an absolute wiz at those arcade games!
Way down we go, go, go, go, go, go
A "clutch" claw moment.
THE CLAW!
When you depend on your tools to buy your lunch daily, you will go to great lengths to recover them from a hungry monster!
Thats not a claw it's an abortion tool
This or cat videos? Hmmm…still thinking.
Good catch
In a pinch, I’ve used 1/16 stainless rod with a hook bent on the end, bending as needed
Well Ray the claw will always bring Victory LOL😂😂😂
Tools not included…
<"Not the Craw..the Craw." (Get Smart the Claw)>
I hate to think of all the time I've wasted going magnet fishing for that fastener that slipped out of my oily fingers.
Not "craw." CRAW!!!
