Everybody refers to this day as the fourth of july. But we're we're not addressing what that actually means and the purpose of this video is just to kind of remind us all that we are celebrating our independence on the 4th of july. That is the day that our nation became a nation and our freedoms from foreign control was one and uh. I think rather than sheepening the holiday by referring it referring to it over and over and over again as the fourth.
We should we should readjust what we call it and call it what it is and i know it takes longer and americans like to shorten. Then yeah you can feed those to the fishies. She's feeding. She's feeding m m's to the piggies leave even though it takes longer to say we shouldn't shorten.
It and cheapen. It by simply referring to the holiday as the fourth and we should be referring it to independence day especially now more than ever because our country is one of the most uh unstable times. I think i've ever seen it in my lifetime. And we also in my opinion should be refocusing ourselves on our our values and remind ourselves from time to time and i understand that times are tough right now and our money's being destroyed and a lot of people think that our our freedoms.
Are evaporating prices are through the moon. Politicians are just as honest as they always were and the everyday person is is seriously struggling right now in our country and because of that i think now it is more important than ever for all of us to just revisit our core and revisit who we are re establish our values and not forget that it's always darkest before the dawn. So let us remind ourselves what our great nation was founded upon what it's made out of and most importantly who we are exactly so that being said happy independence day. Only to play Devils Advocate and to stir the pot up a bit. July 4th is not our Independence Day. It's the day we declared our Independence but it is not the day we were truly Independent. That day was September 3rd( If I remember correctly) 1783 when the Treaty of Paris was actually signed. On this day we became independent of Great Britain officially but not before. Our forefathers had to fight for it with every fiber of their being from July 4th 1776 until September 3rd 1783. I'm all for celebrating the day the brave men and women of our past stood up and gave King George the ol you're number 1 salute but let's not forget what they actually had to endure to make this great country and Independent one. There is a political push to redefine it away from the original, and thus to denigrate Western civilization and the European culture which the British brought with them.
