2021 Chevrolet It's a Suburban Money Lights on Canister Bentv Performance Code: New canister, New secondary canister. Okay, follow that back. Come back here to the canister vent valve. She's new and let's look at the big problem in this system.
Hm, let's put the filter right behind the rear tire because that makes sense and it does if you're in a part selling business cuz this is about $700 from General Motors Here's your filter: Sits back there sucking mud the entire time it's back there filling the entire system full of dirt, plugging both charcoal canisters, and set a event. Performance: Cod All right, good job GM You guys keep it up.
That's horrible but a nice setup for recall my God.
Happy holidays
Similar to my wife Grand Caravan’s rear A/C system lines. I would say that they are designed to fail. No way all involved could be that bad at their respective jobs
Dealt with this on several different occasions with my Avalanche. Schitt design, known problem, and in usual GM fashion they allow it to carry over year after year. Same with collapsed lifters. I was a huge GM fan but when CEOs put profits over customers they basically drove me out.
I’m having an EVAP issue on my Chevy Express. I’ll have to check that out. Thanks!
Uh fuking believable
thats the mother of bad design and the bottom of that car looks like the underside of a chinese mobility scooter
Need a filter filter filter……….
Government Motors…at its finest!
Planned obsolescence, almost.
Just took my 2014 Cruze in to have transmission fluid change. 70000 miles dealer service technician was able to remove bottom plug but couldn’t get inner plug with fill tube removed. Did get a couple quarts out and replaced with fresh. Disappointing
A protective box prefilter with replaceable filter material would be very helpful in preventing this repair.
Had that same problem with my 2004 Tahoe and 2007 Avalanche. 19 years of GM excellence.
Oof. Horrible.
As Eric what his favorite car brand is. Anything GM it seems
Put a box around that filter.
I'll try to answer the questions before they get asked a million times. Here I go…
–NO it is NOT under warranty. Vehicle has 60k on it and GM said go pound sand. NO WARRANTY. I called the dealer myself with the VIN and the mileage. It's only an $80,000 Suburban why should they cover it!?
–NO it is not the customers fault for "not maintaining their vehicle." This is a 4×4 SUV and they are designed to be driven "off road." This includes gravel roads.
–YES this vehicle has been driven on gravel roads.
–YES I think GM has the most piss poor engineered EVAP system. Since 1999 they have not been able to get it right.
–YES GM "electric cars" should do just wonderful in our climate haha. What could go wrong when they can't even make an EVAP system work 😂
–NO I did not relocate the EVAP filter to a better spot.
–YES I know you found all of the parts on line for $5.68 and they say "Genuine GM" on the box.
-And finally YES NONE of the parts installed were made in the USA. Just because you think GM is an "American Car Company" all of the parts come from Korea, Mexico or China. And YES they were all GM OEM parts I installed.
–YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!
