Cheer up man.. you and your fam are in good shape and it's a shame what happened down south but you have to keep on truckin'. At least you still have a place of employment and a roof over your heads. :- )

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Yeah Right says:

Be aigh't. We have the same crap every year here in NYS, the only difference is it's a blizzard of snow instead of water.
Another difference is whilst this happens every year here and they act like it's some big "surprise"… your governor knows how to get things done.
Our former governor, who groped women on many occasions is actually taking about running again didn't.
Don't EVER take things like this for granted.
Our former governor got tens of thousands of elderly people killed because "Covid".

Don't ever take that for granted. Ever!

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Anthony Young says:

yeah Isuzu makes good diesel engines.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Mollard says:

Not to bombard but I found later in the video, adding two quarts of full synthetic to synthetic blend is still technically a synthetic blend.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Mollard says:

I understand you want to get it done and filming will slow you down. I also understand you're entitled to privacy, I would be very interested in watching any storm cleanup work you do and post.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars No Time42 says:

Impressive you got some T6. That disappeared off most shelves for about a year or so.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ruben P says:

Of course it's a great engine (blow-by test), it's got a great owner who by chance is a mechanic. Plus it supplied you with beneficial electrons during the storm.

Hey Ray, as a gunsmith that deals with a fair amount of rust on metal, a carding wheel on a buffer will take it off really fast without hurting anything, 0000 steel wool does a good job too, and is cheaper, just takes longer. Glad you and your family are safe!

  21. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Watch Videos says:

This is like the first video I’ve ever watched here were the phone is not going crazy

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TankGuy3 says:

Ray really does get splattered with oil every time he changes it in a diesel vehicle.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Hedrick says:

We got the tail end of Ian here in southern Ohio. I know what it's like going through a hurricane. You were well prepared

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Dawson says:

It is your evil twin Ray who plat tracks on you.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Harley 2die4 says:

Majority of the people lost all faith in government; justice system is corrupt as hell, including FBI and Congress, then the media flat out lies
night after night manipulating the public. Sad to drive around still seeing idiots wearing dust masks actually believing it will protect them from
an aerosol virus. The mask won't even protect you from 2nd hand cigarette smoke

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Peter Fallert says:

When doing your first pour out of a one gallon jug, pour from the opposite side. Seems non intuitive, but it works like a charm. No spill, stays nice and shiney. Glad you're safe. go easy on yourself. You've been through a lot.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Game Plays 1230 says:

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars K Wils says:

I'm sort of curious what you've been paying for the Rotella T6 15w-40? I needed some and found it online at a local Walmart for $25 a gallon and 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 15w-50 as well, with free delivery.

Oh how I've missed the "doo dee dooos".

    Glad you're back Rainman!!

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Adam R says:

It always feels weird returning from a catastrophe. Tornadoes when I was growing up, 9/11 when I was in downtown Chicago, flooding in my current town, wildfires, and so many others. Getting back to the usual grind is so odd. Rewarding, nice, mundane and meaningless.

Know you add value to your society. Doing it makes lives better.
    Thanks Ray!

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Oscar Arechiga says:

Glad to see that you are ok after that frigging storm

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Wiley says:

I watch your videos evert night. Do you own the shop?

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kevan Smith says:

Hurricanes are assholes. In New Orleans after Ida, I went back to work a couple of days after, because it was a hardware store that had power, and people needed our stuff. I was grateful for AC and charging, but felt like a work zombie. Then I'd go home to no power and sweltering temps. I feel ya, bro.

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steven Baker says:

Good to see you back to work Ray! Was keeping up with your shenanigsns at home during and after the storm. Hopebyou get everything squared away again soon…and get the chickens back in thier home! We've been through a 100 yr. flood and a forest fire when we lived in Mt……takes awhile to get back to a "new" normal. …..Alll the best!! 😉

  43. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars livingdeadbtu says:

It's good to get a break from the chaos

  44. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars livingdeadbtu says:

I figured the next two weeks of your shop would be… "yet another car with 'slight' flood damage"… opens door, been obviously seriously flooded. "Yep, another bad ecm… its on order" pushes it next to a row of flood damaged cars waiting for parts.

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars CALVIN L. NIKONT says:

My big truck took a little over 10 gallons for an oil change with 2 filters

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris says:

Did not see you put a little oil on the oil filter gasket before installing ???

  47. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Slw Snowman40 says:
