Let's see, it stalls when you touch the wipers!? Uhhh ok... well happy guessing and we will see you in part II (hopefully) for the diagnosis!

Some of us need actual help not a teaser video of another video after watching this no solution video! Just a minute while I click, " Do not recommend channel"
This video helped immensely helped me diagose intermittant no crank no start. Probe light showed run crank relay power had a short or bad connection diagnosed by wiggling a new one which cut motor off. Replaced old runcrank relay with a new one and car would start. replaced fuse box, then grounded tcm which another video recommends, after u101 code and power steering warning came on odometer, now car runs fine. 2005 chevy cobalt 2.2l sedan. The other video is 2005 chevy cobalt no crank, no run by another group of guys. See comments on other video for details.
my 2006 cobalt starts in the morning and when i pull up to a stop sign the car shuts off. put it in park and restart it and it goes on without a issue the rest of the time. put on a computer and the
y show nothing wrong a lot of maybes like oxygen sensor . i warm it up well and also have an engine block heater for winter but it does it anyway
this just made my Eric O greatest hits folder. !
i would CUT the wipers off …
as THAT is the obvious problem …
Wiper motor wiring shorting to ground
Hello have a good Xmas day love your work and all the best for 2022 from Colin in the UK
The first mechanic really jacked up this poor car
The owner should sue the fuck out of that shop. No basic understanding of basic electrical systems
My Chevy Cobalt don’t click like that it just tries turning on and it takes a while to crank up. One time it didn’t start it just beeped and made a hummmm noise. What do you think is wrong with my car. It’s a Chevy Cobalt LS
Yo Eric. I ran into an issue today. Car came from another shop. I've got 28 years under my belt. You know on any Chrysler IOD fuse. No draw after about 3hours or so. Battery dead In the AM. Well, after market radio/ navigation wouldn't shut down. Searching for satellite all night after the bomb ect went to sleep. So frustrating. The customer always needed the car today. Well shit, let me call the gods to find a problem you won't give me time to duplicate.
Of course !!! It's the tire pressure is low, causing the frame to sag and flex, which in turn causes a short in the gastank pump.. HAHAHAHA…
Since it’s the wiper cowl, it could be low on wiper fluid and that’s how it lets you know.
I ran across a 2007 Cobalt. Exact same problem. 100.00 For Sale.
I used to have the same problem in my 07 pontiac G5, but didn't have the fuse blocks problem. Sometimes it's the radio and have to enter the code if it's own radio
No!!!! A teaser!!! Oh wait….this video is four years old
Gas cap !!!!
Wow, never would have guessed
I would start by checking voltage and resistance to ground of the cowling when at rest vs when being pushed. (Determine if bad ground issue or hot shorted issue)
it looks like the spot welds broke and maybe when you moved it the 2 pieces touched and it completed the ground. I'm curious!
I've bad luck on chev. my chev 99 van blew fuse to computer. several.
3 mechanics gave up. It was a ground wire on engine. I found it.
Then my 2002 chev van in reverse only caused engine light and no power. Poor idle. Got worse each time reverse. So bad it smoked exhaust. No one could find it. Sold it.
My daughter bought a 2007 cobalt, no crank, no start. She took it to dealership and they replaces the tipum and it has been good since…but these cars are junk. Do not buy them
Love it
Thank you
Put gas in it
the purple plug next to the brake reservoir and a/c line. Do you know what that is called or does? Mines not hooked up and was wondering if i needed that for it to start???
Pull fuse box aging maybe bent pin
Bad ground.
I keep twisting and breaking staters after the first start. It twist and burns up the inside
Second time watching 5/21/2020
Unibody bad ground? A bolt will fix it
I've heard fuse boxes can have a bad ground on chevys
Ground wire from tcm to body needs a better ground.
Ground
Typical GM! Poor quality!
Switching boxes, little boxes, little boxes all the same. What could possibly go wrong?
safety switch 😂
That's actually a pretty good anti theft protection system
That's a cool magic trick 😂
Mr. O Mrs O is hot. She has a beautiful smile with Dimples you're ugly Mr. O just joking
I'm thinking some kind of wire abrasion on wiper linkage arms, causing ground …????
My guess before I watch the next part: Bad collision work, the lower cowl needs to be attached to the upper section to properly ground the fuse box. A sheet metal screw or two will fix the problem lady.
Eric, I can't believe I actually found myself screaming at the phone screen saying 'Stop, please stop… I got it. ' lol.. you seemed to repeat the same thing over and over and kept touching the wiper stalk over and over. I'm sorry, not trying to be a troll or anything, but you should cut about 1min of that video out on the diagnosis explaination. But, I think the problem will be the wiper arm mechanism under the cowl is rubbing on a wiring harnesses. How that is causing the engine and entire car to lose power is beyond me. Why it's causing a major short to ground is weird. I'm sorry. Not a hater at all, I know it's a very Interesting case study, but over, and over, and over.. I'm sorry. Must be my time of month.
Kill It Before It Figures Out How To Reproduce !
Fuse box
Fuck it just LS swap it and charge the guy 2500
Bad ground 🤔
great video
Mr O, could that be a pinched wire between the firewall & wiper motor? Or the harness going into the firewall to the cabin..
Well im not sure whats wrong with my 2005 cobalt but it has. New starter and altinator guess ill try a new battery and go from there
