Come along with Eric O. as he leaves the SMA shop to go "out in the field" to another shop to have a look at a Chevy Express 3500 6.0 Cube van that will not start. Will it be the ECM, Cam Sensor, Crank Sensor, Broken Wire or maybe just a bad starter!? Stick around and find out!

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Farmer says:

Eric, do you ever use a signal tracer to try and find the break in the wire?

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Thomas Byzewski says:

(If I can do it you can do it ) saying that
From a heated shop with a lots of tools
To being in the FIELD in the elements
You showed respect for what a common guy has to work with and
Has to go through to fix the vehicle.
    Thank you!

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars trangia94534 says:

I am surprised that you don’t use the Power Probe more often. You can be sure of a known ground and 12 volt source to test those wires and a quick push of a button would give you a good ground or 12 volt source. Love the videos so thank you.

How do auto parts stores get away with selling bad products or the wrong parts constantly?

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars thunderchild says:

It's the real world video..sometimes you breakdown in the middle of nowhere..no lifts, lites, fancy tools..trying to pin point what problem is..love it

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Theodore Watry says:

No wonder mechanic bills are so high they are making videos during it and charging you by the hour.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mike Robbins says:

I agree with all the others… Eric understands how things work and knows what to check (with proper equipment that he knows how to use) to find where the problem is. None of this guessing stuff and just throwing some parts on it that doesnt fix anything…. I wish you lived near me cause you would for sure by my mechanic of choice….

One less vehicle you are willing to lay in the weeds for. Believe me you will come to the point when you refuse to lay on rocks just to look under a vehicle. Enjoyed the video. Reminds me of the few thousand I scruffed under.
