  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chad Haase says:

I was hoping you had a video for a 2014 chevy cruze with a 1.4 turbo. Only codes are P1516, p2101, and p2176. Display shows Engine power reduced, service stabilitrac, and service traction control as soon as key is turned on. Replaced throttle body, same thing. Its going to the dealership service dept tomorrow. 😞

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ramon Munoz says:

Great video, great team Eric 👏

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars twwtb says:

A heated thermostat? Learn something new everyday. I guess engines weren't complicated enough already.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Matt Man Productions says:

Yeah on these new cars you have to remove the back bumper to get to the rear thermostat bracket that's attached to the rear axel😂😂😂

    Jk

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Joseph Hamilton says:

How do you shut the tpms light off I have a 2010 cobalt

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars crazyamericangamer says:

Chevy cruze are throw away cars literally

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ahmed Alghamdi من كل بحر قطرة says:

I think If you remove the hose first it will be very easy to uninstall the thermostat and you will not need to unattached the whole housing.

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Forever Computing says:

Many people call that icon the "Check engine light" when it's not always engine related. Mine came on and because I have a thing where I get information remotely with my breakdown cover (OBD permanent device). Anyway, it was a vehicle speed sensor P0500 VSS – which I knew about already.

Driving along doing 60 after test driving the thing and it just drops to zero. Turned the light off anyway as I have done testing and it's gearbox/speedo related (gearbox replaced with one from a slightly bigger engine) as it's stronger and better. For all I know the speedo drive gear is fooked.

your tool has the relearn info on it should you need it for a harder car

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Donald Ellett says:

That needs a new tire – very worn

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Boondockwhisky19 says:

The ones that don’t have the air pump it’s acceptable, in my opinion, to grind off just enough material to slide the thermostat out without messing with the water outlet👍

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steve says:

Um…I thought you did the mekananikin. No wonder it looks easy. The talent is off screen. Hmmm.

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Joseph Neal says:

Yes sir…… Skin will grow back……. Oh yeah and it's free!!!!! Man that was a humdinger right there!!!!! Laughing 🤣 for right at 30 minute interval

Never knew they came with a stick shift.

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars crimson pearl says:

After watching a bunch of your videos, its seems practically all the cars coming into you for service or beat to hell, run down and downright filthy inside! Maybe its the harsh upstate NY winters that cars don't wear well or last long? Or is it ZERO lack of pride if ownership? My 2017 Hyundai Elantra with 48K is MINT both inside and outside and I would NEVER bring my car into my mechanic with a filthy dirty interior!

  23. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Ramon Santana says:

“Millennial anti-theft” great reference for a manual transmission!! 😂

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Harris says:

I have a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo with a 1.6 EcoTec. Looks indentical to this engine, right down to the thermostat. I wonder why my thermostat came right out after undoing those 4 E Socket bolts? GM sure is weird….

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ken moore says:

Being a Chevy I’m surprised you didn’t have to remove the head and the glovebox to replace the thermostat.

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars floodwatch 4x4 says:

    Love the channel

what is the scanning tool used to look at the coded and where is best to get one?

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Doug Kubash says:

All the auto makers like to bury stuff. My favorite is 2011 Ford Ranger where you have to pull or at least loosen the upper intake to get the thermostat out. I got a feeling this isn't the worse one.

    SUZUKI ENGINE

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Alan T says:

I think you forgot need to file a “TPmS” report after the repairs. Don’t let Lumbergh find out.

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Smooth Rider says:

This why I don't work on stuff newer than about 2000.

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Mason says:

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Garth Clark says:

What a cluster of a thermostat replacement

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Larson says:

If by “bucket” you mean “DG snow sled” then yeah, I can do that… mostly. Probably.

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars LMacNeill says:

The engineer who designs the thing should be required to service said thing before the design is approved. That'd solve a bunch of these "you have to remove 8 completely unrelated parts to get to this one part" situations!

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Eric H says:

    Cruzz lol.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Walle says:

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Prevost says:

    Thanks for the video.

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Nate Who says:

Did josh just patch it or plug patch?
