Yeah! There's lots of pretty pictures in those manuals too! I bet they pay someone to wash their clothes.
Viscosity verbiage verified voluminously. Ever so tastefully done. Ray, you are hilarious 😂.
Wonderful!
Goofing about on a Monday – all for youtube! love it!!!
Torquing the undercarriage cover screws made me feel unhappy lol
If people would just read their owners manual a lot of internet forums would be empty. they much rather get dubious information from random people online that the people that designed the product in the first place. ordering a service manual isn't a bad idea either.
proper velocity…LOL
.
Missed the lube Ray.
Ehy Ray, that smaller panel is for accesing the oil filter on the european versions with diesel engine
Very smart work , Rainman !
Nice!!! a $500 precise instrument for a $3 fastener, Ray's sarcasm is second to none, Love it!!
I enjoy your content, I have a few peeps who have Mazdas. Am learning the trade of auto mechanic. Your videos are very helpful! Thank you 🙏🏼 hope to see more Mazda fixes!👌🏼🔥
You can set your own maintenance schedule. As you say read the manual 👍👍
😂😂😂
It's an LOF, and yet all I ever see is the OF part. Have grease nipples really gone the way of the dinosaurs?
Lots of plastic on the underside of that Mazda; guess it keeps some of the road grime out of the engine compartment? Nice oil change.
I work 8 hours a day doing oil changes and tire services just to watch this guy when I get home. Great vids man.
People read the owner's manual (for anything). How dare they. 🙂
In all the years that I changed the oil in my own vehicles, I have never changed the washer (did not know it was supposed to be changed until recently). And I have never had a oil leak there (valve covers are another story).
LMFAO, the beginning of this video is me in 9 out of 10 new cars I get in. 🤣
Errrr, in one of your vids just recently you said Never lubricate the gasket on a oil filter with old engine oil. Brings contamination into new oil etc. When and why did you come to this decision?.
I have never ever used old engine oil on oil filter rubber gasket. Always used a finger full of fresh engine oil. Plus made seat clean on engine before screwing into place.
By the way lm nearly 70 yrs of age and been driving since l was 18 yrs old.🇬🇷
What's concerning is that this was most likely this car's first oil change since it was purchased….. 🙁
Modern cars using 0W20 full syn oil. But you are in Florida, with a balmy climate, not in Japan where it snows in winter. Surely the manufacturer could specify a somewhat heavier grade like maybe 10W30 or 10W40?
That is a looooong dip-stick. You should save those for customers whose own dipstick doesn't reach their oil reservoir 🙂 The underbody plastic panels would make it more difficult to see fluids leaking to ground, which means they interfere with a customer's early warning system.
You are an Edumacated man! You must have a B.S. degree in BS! 😄
9000 miles it's still under warranty why would any body pay any fix it fee derp.
Harsh Ray. Harsh!
Funny but don’t give up your day job lol
I always round to 4375 ml
Llr
First time I've seen something I feel worth reacting to: when using oil from the oilpan to lube the filter gasket… isn't there a slight risk that sludge or "debris" that was being flushed out with the old oil could end up in the new filter but on the "clean part" of the filter?
Great video as usual 🙂 What editor do you use?
I got my moneys worth on this video
God this guy trolls the people so much in the comments 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Come on! there is people around here that can buy a $100,000 car 10 times over but don't have the common sense God gave a squirrel.
Thanks for not rippîng off customers
After listening all your technical terms, I'm sure you should be an astronaut…
About that owner's manual, a boy jumped out from behind a panel truck and in front of my car. The car came to a sudden and abrupt stop, as if it had suddenly fallen into a deep rut. A automatic braking system that I didn't know I had stopped the car missing the boy by yards.
Perhaps your greatest work…
My favorite video so far just for the sarcasm
so complicated. i dont think i could ever be so precise on the tightness applied to the bolts or the amount of lubricating fluid down to the .001 of a quart! i will most def be leaving my oil changes to the pros! 😉
That was the wrong color lubrication filtration device, should have been blue.
That was very German of you. Well done! Shame it was a Japanese car.
try a plastic bag over the oil filer
It would be cool to build into the navigation/ entertainment system would be to have it read codes when there are issues present. Make it so you have to access it by entering into a diagnostic mode so it could at least give the owner an idea of what is wrong. If they can make an OBD reader the size of a lighter they could do this an incorporate it into the computer system
Just a thought…
When my wife got her 2013 Chevy Sonic LT I told her she could no longer drive it till she had read the owner's manual. Boy did that owner's manual fly, at me. LOL.
looks like someone has a case of the Mondays.
you did not check for leaks of oil filter or oil plug baytown texas
Punch a hole in the oil filter and let it drain before you remove it and you'll never make a mess again.
