In your opinion, does the snap on ratchet have more torque than the milwaukee ratchet?
.
Great job, lots of screws out and in
Dont drive chryslers!
My wife overheated her car. I told her after to get rid of it. I've found once you overheat them, all the little plastic parts become very brittle.
remind me NEVER own a Chrysler 200
Every connector close to the engine was cooked and stuck
You forgot the insulation between the intake and valve cover
Engine has been overheated so many times all connectors are baked on.
If I wanted to hear the word fastener every 5 Seconds I would watch Eric the Car Guy
Dragon
I can't believe you didn't clean up that valley between the heads and under the intake. Nasty.
got to say that intake is awful in design for promasters, gotta unbolt from underneath unless you feel like removing half the upperside
bro that oil filter placement 😭😭😭
Seems to me that if he going to spend all that money to fix the water leaks he should fix everything. Pay me now or more later.
My dad owns a tire shop in North Carolina so we do mechanic work and tires. These videos are cool and he does a great job at explaining the job! I change big rig truck tires and farm tires for my dad. Watching this makes me want to film doing my job. Not sure I could explain what I am doing as well as Ray! Thanks for the videos! Not sure you were born in Florida but I was. A city named Haines City in Polk County. My mom's side lived in North Carolina so we moved here to be with them. Too dang hot in Florida
CLIK ON OH FEARLESS MASTER TECH!!!
NICE SAVE…THE BLUE SEALS LOOK LIKE AN UPGRADE OF THOSE THAT CAME OUT…IT LOOKED LIKE BLUE WAS MORE ROUNDED FOR A BETTER SEAL…OLD LOOKED LIKE IT HAD A LIP…MAYBE I HAVE COOLANT ON THE BWAIN…😝
That engine has such a short life expectancy, I don't think dumping a bag of kitty litter into the engine would change anything.
I haven’t changed my own oil in about 15 years. I have been watching these videos and decided it was time to start doing it myself again. I really enjoyed it and it’s good know exactly what oil and filter I use and not wonder what the service people are using. I am retired so I have plenty of time and can save some money to boot. Thanks for the videos.
Sorry ….It's what is that background crap?
WDhat is that bockground crap?
Engine check light on
I know why you make YouTube videos. It justifies you talking to yourself.
watching you work reminds me why I liked my 72 Nova with the strait 6
Mere mortals couldn’t put that back together. Rage against the coming of the light.
WOW very interesting super kool ,1st class great info.,, AAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++ again great video I liked it a lot ,keep up the great work.
I'd guess that your customer is a little short on pennies. You should be glad he doesn't want the other engine fixes, cause you could have trouble getting paid. Bit like the house insurance, cant afford the premiums and the house repayments. So small risk of loosing house vs certainty of loosing house (insurer had no idea of mortgage co and vice versa). You only worry about that witch you can control. And yes my engine is using 20W 60 and I must get some more spark plugs OK at pres but you know that won't last.
If you gotta pull that intake , they should of got you to replace that bad lifter, they're gonna blow it all rite !
Chrysler's are such garbage.
So what the hell mister nice and shinny. It didnt look like you cleaned the valley under the oil cooler/filter housing. That's like 2 inches deep of juice's
Those cars are garbage
No gasket for the thermostat /
DORMAN for that part is a no no. They don't last. You need a OEM part there if you want it to last. Since the rocker arm ready to go I guess a DORMAN part will outlast the rocker arm maybe.
My take away is I'm glad I never owned (and never will own) an imported vehicle. I've done a lot of hobby mechanic work in my life (I'm 83) and I've never seen anything as difficult as the job shown in this video. Thank you!
If I got a stuck hose I'll either grab by where it's connected give it a twist to loosen if it's tight to twist I use pliers with electrical tape to do it so nothing gets ripped. If it's old I'll use a heat gun warm it up and it'll usually loosen up.
And to think back in the 80s I wanted to become a Mechanic……I wouldnt last a day before they fired me. Outstanding patients and work my friend.
Would like a regular “hose mad” reference.
there's a new device called a pressure tester, I hear it's great at finding water leaks in the cooling system…
200 was the value of that car when new!
Chrysler products are real piles of junk
just after the censored audio I think we all know why it called mom. lol
Typical of Chrysler garbage.
thanks Ray.
The more I watch your videos, the more I realize I no longer have the patience to work on (newer) vehicles in anything more than a necessary capacity. Loved tinkering and rebuilding vehicles in my younger years…. but a few years back, maybe around the age of 30ish, I completely lost interest.
For some reason I love when the phone rings and you go Dooodoodoodoodoo !! Loll
