I've got one of those bore scopes. Also, have an adjustable digital inspection camera from Harbor Freight that's been a blessing. I like HB stuff and know what to get and what not too. Mostly I've had great luck and if any of it breaks, get another with no questions. The stuff that I've had issues with is the ocassional drill with not enough power. My fault. Other than that, I've got a lot of there tools. They are having a parking lot sale and you should go by and check it out. I'm picking up a couple of torque rachets tomorrow and another camera for my Bro/inlaw. That way he can stop borrowing mine. Love the vids. I've been tearing down my 75 Honda 360t for paint today. Had to tag all the wires for the new harness as some of the color codes are a bit off. With my cancer, I can only put in a few hours a day and have to be careful with the grinding/sanding with one lung. BUT!!!! when I have made some progress, I get to take a shower and get in bed and watch a few of your vids. I love the stuff. I had hoped to go from a suit and tie to grease and grime when I retired but that won't be in the cards. I'll just do the vintage honda things and be happy with it. I hope to do and earlier CB 175, and if I could get my wish granted I would find a 1961 CB77 that's restorable. I love working on them. The one I'm doing now has a special place in my heart. It's also got a lot of work. I'd intended in making it flawless but now I'll just get her as close as I can without taking the motor out and power coating. Most of the stuff is by hand and lots of 0000. Sorry but the meds make me talkative. Ha. Just want you to know how much I enjoy your content and can't wait till you have your own place (if you choose).
I watched this and the previous video to it. Watching these types of videos and others like it (South Main Auto Repair and Diagnose Dan) are the best way to spend time on the internet. I do ALL of my own work and it is nice to see "some" repair shops that do good work. Off topic, but what a disappointing interior for such an expensive vehicle.
I must make a video of how I pull out a half shaft from a differential. It involves hammer, cutting torch and an angry customer. Oh, and a box of extra nuts, bolts and clips.
Am I noticing a little more intentional sexual innuendo or is it just a change in my perception? Perhaps much of your audience enjoys the added tongue in cheekly, I find it a distraction. You are, btw, now my goto for mindless relaxation, and yes your use of Hollywood English and a wide vocabulary makes the content easy on the ears and entertaining, but personally I’m here to watch mechanical problems and solutions, not to secondarily think about bodily functions. If you have looked at viewership and determined that the later brings more views, ignore me. Thanks for doing what you do! Much cheaper than my phycologist!
OMG Man… Don't use that little polisher when filming. Why? With headphones on, it sounds exactly like a dentist's drill… And it goes right through you. OMG…… UGH
Hello Ray: Watching You working hart, and your Commentary too boot, is what Putin and Biden should be involved in "Talking to stop their insanity in Ukrain". Keep on teaching the world " Old ideas " on how to get along. Forget the A–bomb for a while. No one asking me if I want to get incinerated. But I shure like to get my Van fixed I like traveling! As a Mr. Goodwrench certified tech. my certs were numerous, multiple times and ways, I was a General Motors PDI specialist. No shit! These monsters got hot rodded by the Lot guys down in Mexico and on the dealership lots, the guys where final assembly happened trashed more than a few then shipped them. When it rained hard the guys would slide these around the parking lot and sideways into curbs and pot holes and such. I saw the last few Pontiacs and then the Escalades and Yukons and Suburbans with bent rims, axle tubes and hub plates all the time.
I had my breaks and rotors and all done in this shop problem I was dating the macanic but broke it off cuz he was married he put transmissions fluid in the breaks ,now I can only go a short period and then the rear breaks lock up another shop said it's done, another said $3000 I'm disabled fix income no whip Cadillac escalade sport 2002
Just don't understand why people rate these apalling pieces of junk, seems like they are very problematic and time consuming to fix, plus they have quite old technology even for an American car🤔
Just started watching your vids. Love um! I’m a detail guy, but I’m am learning from watching your jobs. I was thinking on your last days in life when you take your final breath say “click”! Lol!😂 love you man!🤙
Only question, why didn't you put Anti- seize between the axle plate and the brum rotor after you cleaned it up? It will rust again and be harder to get off next time. Just curious?
I just threw that part number into Rock Auto and they have it listed for $63.89 I also happen to have that exact entire axle sitting in my garage trying to get sold for the last 3 years 🤣
Is that similar to a limited slip diff?
Some donkey pounded oN CALIPER with big hammer to push pistons back into caliper and bent mounting frame
PS. Thanks. You saved me a ton of extra work by showing me how to remove something.

It's great to watch someone who takes so much pride in their work and does the right thing for his customers
epic shaft insertion moment
Take parking brake shoes off you can listen bolts manually leaving them in housing
You need to drive over a camera every time. That was a hilarious shot.

Damn all that lol. I would of just said to clearance the caliper. Grind it or something 🤣🤣
I would have put a dremil on the contact point so the bracket would not rub , if it was my car . Just saying
You mean you can't just beat it into submission? 😉 Great stuff!

Ray what is that tool called that fits over the studs to clean the rust off the rotors
I just bought the 12.0 battery that Milwaukee came out with. If you buy this you won't be dissapointed.
please start using ceramic hightemp lube on the brake pad guides(ears) so they can float freely. Thank you !

Excellent job Ray! Greetings from Chile.
If there's a heaven for auto repair techs, we know who goes to the front of the line.
Ray you and Eric O should have a TV show together

Brake adjuster? And its link inside the drum?
Hey Ray, I am curious about how long it actually took to do all this work. Is there also a book time for this job?
Parts washer fountain edition.
Awesome job 👍
