Happens to all levels of mechanic's expertise.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars greg warner says:

Wow they told us to tighten the bolt line side now I know why

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars wrecktec says:

I would guess that white residue on the inside of the door is from paint preparation (like wet sanding paste). Seen that a lot working around the bodyshop after the panel is prepped. A good indication the panel has been prepped for paint.

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Donnie Robertson says:

    Great job again like always

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Pete Medina says:

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stone Blue says:

Normally the kiss of death when the customer says "yeah, this won't take (you) long, it should be simple"

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Kfreeze says:

  22. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars lightningsmokerXx says:

Honda has really gone to $h!+ since 2000.

Compared to what it once was. Some things have got better.

    CARCOMPLAINTS.com

^^^ post your problems with pictures there > manufacturers pay attention to it. Loves me that site.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Thomas Dement says:

Since the bolt came loose would it be a good idea to apply some loctite as part of the repair so it doesn't come loose again?

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Hola! zachary lampman says:

Lol Eric "Customer" You mean Mrs O?

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Smitty Smithsonite says:

Boy, Honda's QC ain't what she used to be …

20 years ago, heads would've rolled for something like this at the factory. Today it's just par for the course – all manufacturers let stuff out the door like this … and the stuff costs more than ever. Sad.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Geo Jor says:

    good stuff, thanks …

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars ouarkie says:

Eric you been married long enough to know women are ALWAYS right!

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars theoldwizard998 says:

If the bolt came out once, what make you think it won't come out again ? A dab of Loctite blue would be good !

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars theoldwizard998 says:

FYI: Ford door panels usually have plastic hooks on the back that slip into/out of slots after you remove the screws.

  31. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robert Davis says:

I'd hit that handle bolt with blue Loctite for sure. Honda quality for sure.

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Zak 6959 says:

I would've put a shake proof washer on the bolt personally, with the way the roads are nowadays

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars jeb721 says:

    "tighten up to factory specs…"

    Hahahahaha, loved that.

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mustang Man says:

Well, that was quick. Didn't even finish my bag o' chips.

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars The Honda Steve says:

What I love about these how-to videos is that we get to see some of the pitfalls – for example the difficulty of pulling off that door card. Great stuff guys. Thanks!

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Justin Sero sr says:

I love watching ur videos. Ur sense of humor makes me laugh. I hear u mention some viewers complain about ur phone ringing and door chime during ur videos. But hey look at it this way. It means ur getting business. And it's better than no one calling or walking through ur door! Keep up the good work.

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars jewllake says:

I guess there was no way to incorporate a can of the ever so famous brake clean in this one? 🙂

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars J Irwin says:

Also great video as always. Love to see new content on the channel.

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars J Irwin says:

Business to run and all aside, I wouldn't have charged her. I would've used it as a lesson to "don't be afraid to try something for yourself". I would've told her lets take a look. Have her use the tools and lend a hand if/when she gets lost.

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Carl costello says:

you could/should of put a bit of thread lock on the bolt to stop it from coming loose again in the future 🙂

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars argonian bilbo says:

You need a that was easy button

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars rob roberts says:

Nice video – by the way, is Mrs. O still considering to get a Jeep? (see SMA A Normal Day at the Shop) I have a ball cap from Jeep Fleet Services way back when the Jeep Cherokees AHB Police Package were being made back then that I just found cleaning out the basement. I could sent Mrs. O some SWAG and you would have to look at the ballcap for a little while. Just promoting some marital harmony here……..

  48. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Richard Gill says:

  49. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars E Chew says:
