Some diesel nozzles are the same size as gas, especially if it says 'auto diesel'. I have Ford truck diesels and VW car diesels.

Seriously, I noticed you wear a wedding ring in some of your videos. That can be dangerous! In tight places it can get caught and if you were to pull your hand out rapidly the flesh might come with it. When I worked as a welder Idid not wear one, my wife understood.

Some diesel nozzles are similar size as gas nozzles so yes it can happen. My niece filled her car with diesel. A costly mistake.

You can make that mistake here in Ohio, them older mom and pop places the diesel nozzle is the same size, I'm guessing the nozzle went bad and the normal fuel nozzle will just screw right on to the line, Had some guy fill one of our fleet e350 vans with diesel, 30 gallons of it…. We pumped it out and used it for or Kubota lol
This same thing happened to my dad. 4cans of gas for 4vehicles. 3 went one didn't. One of the cans was diesel.

Never take fuel from a tow truck My buddy's Corvette one night ran out of gas AAA sent a local tow truck who dumped gas in it for what we thought was gas and it turned out to be a mix of diesel oil and water what a mess that was I think they just drained it out of the Rex cars whichever in it all goes into a tank and then that's what they throw on the tow truck of course they denied it
I hate that stuff too it smells bad and the engines sound like trash
As an ex-roadside mechanic came across loads of these, customers would lie point-blank to your face until you got the receipt off them, they would then confess that it took 10mins to fill the tank 🙂 Carry on with the good job.

I'll bet you what happened is the sensor crapped out and the owner was financing, refused to pay, it went up for repo, he sabotaged the car and gave it back which is why you found it at auction.
Oh my wife found a way to put diesel in my 95 Rodeo at the pump. Boy was I pissed. 2 hours in a parking lot hand pumping out 5 gallons of diesel, in the dark.
In 1952 we used to call that black stuff "dum-dum". Didn't know KIA was so behind the times that they still used it. Really enjoy your vids. I try to diagnose before you do & then watch to see what the problem was. Retirement is great; you ought to try it.
A bit of diesel as an additive is AOK. It will clean out the combustion chamber and the valves and somewhat clean the injectors. No more than 1 gallon into 20 gallons of gasoline. For the skeptics I’ve been doing it since the early 70s. No damage to cats they are in diesel vehicles too.
Yes there are small diesel nozzles at some of the stations out there. Truck stops and fleet stations have the big nozzles.
The way we can solve this? You put the wrong fuel in, when you get to the mechanics you are made to forfeit your license and car. Watch how quickly this stops happening.
Every seat i ever removed for anything always had 3 cents and a bobby pin, add your drink token and the quarter you way ahead! I sold the very same lift to a customer 2 weeks ago, Challenger gave me a 55 day lead time so I expect that lift on Aug 3 2010 hope you have a better delivery date.

Kerosene pump handle fits. My daughter did it to an 04 Taurus. After removing what I could and going through 2 sets of spark plugs it finally came back to life.

Wife filled are car with diesel at or local pei shell. Just pumped it out like you did. Put the brake parts cleaner to get it started. It worked fine. I no old farmer had dual gas tanks on his one tonne. He filled one tank with diesel by mistake. He claim once he got going 40 mph. He could switch over to the diesel tank. Truck run on diesel no problem even hauling cattle trailer. 😂
That gas/diesel removed from the tank would probably run fine in a lawn mower!
