As an former Infiniti technician whenever we got bad coils they would blister and cause a misfire. There was a tsb to replace all the coils the battery ground and the engine ground. Not sure if this applies to the 2.5L. But worth checking into.

On fords, in addition to "low tire pressure", that tire indicator can also mean, among other things: a TPMS sensor failure, or a general TPMS fault.

I hate TPMS….i'm so glad my car doesn't have it.

nissan has a bad cat problem and this misfire if left long enough will clog the cat causing $$$$ failure…….and yes it is engineered into the vehicle for future profits for the dealer…..Nissan is the Chrysler of Japan…..avoid at all costs. Good video Rain.

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars wayne cartwright says:

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John says:

Wouldn't be better to do the injector cleaner before you replace the parts? iv ,seen the service done , it makes asd lot of stinky smoke ,that would foul out the plugs and leave a layer of black sught ,it will definitively leave a layer of crap all in the system

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Aspie Geek says:

the extra long spark plug socket that is also magnetic are built for BMW Minis now…. You can buy them in the UK from Halfords and they are around £14. I guess you can buy them in the US from BMW for an extortionate fee!

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Gregory Fairchild says:

Interesting, our cleaners hook to the fuel rail and we disable the fuel pump, and run the engine on cleaner fuel mixture.
Also using Berrymans fuel injector cleaner added to fuel tank then taking the vehicle out to a low traffic road and do some 20 to 50 mph full throttle runs to run injectors wide open for the longest milliseconds to blast them clean and the cylinders & valves.
Pour it & floor it…it works

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Gregory Fairchild says:

I have a snapon longer spark plug socket but it's only like 4 to 5 inches
I do not regap spark plugs but I will adjust all new plugs to spec.
Old plugs wear and build up deposits everywhere.
If they misfire it will take out coils. And arcing you can't see can still cause issues

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Gregory Fairchild says:

You show an excellent point. Replace boots with plugs every time.
If boots aren't replaceable, replace coils

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Donna Hollingsworth says:

When I the fuel injectors were cleaned, I noticed the engine had a rough idle for about 1500 miles afterwards while I traveling to PA. Your method will only go in far as the mass air flow sensor since there is no bypass around the mass flow sensor. The fuel injector cleaner should be connected to the fuel rail. There will be a little of a rough idle anytime you do a fuel injector cleaning but it should go away after about 100 miles or so. The customer need to be informed about that so if the rough idle continues that they return to the shop because something else could be wrong like a stuck throttle body plate or bad/clogged mass flow sensor, both of which can be cleaned really easy with the proper cleaners. Just like Scotty Kilmer shows in his videos.

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Derek E says:
