    Amazing camera work !

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mark Templin says:

Dry fuel line,, that car sat for a while,, a prime cycle isn't long enough to fill an entirely dry line,, I was not surprised you had to crank it for a while,, hot fill both supply and return line, b4 pressure will build up👍

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mark Templin says:

For get what year,, but one time on a Chevy S10 blazer,, we came to realize, there is a plastic tube, under the gas tank,🤔hhhmmm ok look up how to replace fuel pump,, lift body off of chassis, and pick the tank up from the top🤔 um no that can't be right thought us,, couldn't find any other way,, so we did the rear seat modifications, cut a hole just above the access to fuel pump, did the replacement, turned the key, she started, so we bent the floor pan back down did a little weldy weldy, on her , put the seat back in ,, and good as new🤔👍 some times, well one lives in the sticks,, we kinda find a way🇺🇸🇺🇸👍

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Deuce Deuce says:

Did the original pump start off white too? (Looks like only the parts that come into contact with the gas turned brown on the old one.).

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars William Mims says:

Be careful sticking things in the wrong hole.

  6. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stt RSp says:

Chryslers are one of the biggest pieces of s#$% you could buy.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Haytham BuKhadra says:

    That car is dirty 😳
I would be embarrassed to drop it in a shop like that.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Skysurfer says:

Do you need extra inoculations when being a mechanic?

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars saultube44🇺🇦 says:

That's a honest Chrysler, hard on the Cry, trashy looks for a trashy quality car

  10. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Scott Hummel says:

A friend of mine had one of these cars. Quit running and we thought it was the fuel pump as well. We started to pull the tank down and I noticed how light it was. No gas. Although it read half a tank. We stopped taking it down and threw a gallon in. Cranked right up. Thought about that when ray tapped the tank and said it sounded empty

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Graves III says:

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars President PoopyPants says:

I like the tape on the straw as you were spraying the fuel (starting fluid?) into the intake. I found out the HARD way about shooting the straw into an intake…. 😉

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars itsnotme07 says:

I enjoy most of your repair actions….but this one is close to home….got a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited in the garage…..had it over 20 years since 20 miles, now 120k miles.
Hope I don't have to replace the fuel pump…but nice to know what is involved. I agree Chrysler engineers should have put that fuel pump access under the rear seat. They also should have put the battery somewhere else too.

  15. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Eric Murray says:

Not a fan of the 2.7L V6 POS engine. The horror of the coolant design.

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars David Kahler says:

    Power to the pumple…lol

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Love Of Christ says:

Did you disconnect the battery after you did your test I’m worried that one little spark is gonna get in trouble catch yourself on fire?✝️✝️✝️

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Artimus Protensor says:

I did a fuel pump once. I think it was on a shitty old Chrysler minivan. I forget what tools I used but I know I didn't have access to the right ones.

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Abe's Mission Control says:

Hurts to see ppl not take care of their stuff.

    Was it tuesday?

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dr.Cosmar says:

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tim Baumann says:

For all us "Car Geeks" out there, watching Ray work on a vehicle is for us a form of "STRESS RELEASE" therapy!

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Doublevision says:

i guess they did make improvements to this platform year over year. i have a 2004 Sebring Touring 4 door sedan with the 2.7L i have fuel pump access under my rear seat( yeah i've been there wasnt the pump, my level sensor conked out). quite a little powerhouse of an engine if its looked after. owned the car since i was 16. dont think i could drive anything else with how comfortable it is on long roadtrips. car is currently at 640,000 kms and undercoated ever year so it doesnt rust out. garage kept at a condo the last 12 years of her life.

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars John Doe says:

    Continuity test.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dom Fer says:

It is nice of you to show vehicles that car buyers should stay away from.

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chris Perry says:

Causing a fire or explosion taking off a retention ring??? Why do you listen to morons??? It can't cause a fire or explosion. What a bunch of dorks.

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars SuGGoz says:

    No backseat mod 🙂

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars joemama1151 says:

I been known to stick it in the wrong hole from time time as well.

  42. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jose Luis Ruiz says:

man I really like how you work on cars and are able to figure out these problems and fix them right. I wish I had a technician like you where I live, I would have you be the only tech working on my car even if it meant paying extra and waiting a couple of days for you to get to my vehicle.

  43. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jarvis Family says:

It's a Chrysler – of course you can't get to anything without taking half of the car apart! 🙂

  44. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars srkiman says:

you could start the car at the parking in 90 percent cases with help of another person
one of you cranking the engine and the other keep punching the reservoar from belov and the vibration will force the fuel pump to run again just enogh to drive to the worksop 🙂
ive done like that many time and every time worked 🙂

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars brad geiger says:

    Is there gas in tank

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars rtel123 says:

If the tank was empty, that probably destroyed the pump. NO excuse for making cars without access hatch to fuel pump. Also, with two connectors involved, double the chance that the connector failed. Would be nice to open the hatch and test the wires as they enter the tank to make sure it is not a dirty connector.

  47. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Rockaho says:

What I learned, it's a lot easier to replace a fuel pump with the vehicle on a lift and with a transmission jack. It always seems I end up doing it on the driveway with a full tank of gas.

  48. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Paul Hall says:

    Carquest fuel pumps SUCK ASS💯

  49. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars phantommate says:

I envy not only your knowledge but also you dexterity and sense of humour. Thank you.
