So I'm over here working on this here. Chevrolet Folks I Put a set of these hubs on there to do some brakes and a wheel bearing. Reminds me of a little story back in the late 90s. I'm working for my dad and my buddy Chad He comes in, he's got a 94 F-150 two-tone Brown Sweet Looking truck.
put a set of these same hubs on there for him. got just about done, screws all tightened up, he comes over and it's like you know, until he really wants to ask you something and it's okay. You know what's going on it's like I don't want to sound fussy, you're doing me a favor. He's like, but can you take, can you take this off and just turn it so you know So the warrant is, you know, sideways So when the truck's on the ground, you know it's going to look cool so people can read it.
I'm like yeah, man, that's uh, that's no problem I did that for him and well I guess he was done asking questions at that point and let me do my work.
I had an older lady that had a mustang ask me to put the mustang logos (on the wheels) all facing the same way…
Being a little bit OCD I assumed she meant indexing them all to the valve stem or something…
She came back and said they were not turned the same way…
I spent an embarrassingly long time explaining to her that the wheels turn at different speeds so what she is requesting is impossible if she intends on turning 😂
She finally got it though I think😅
Warm hubs suck on Suzuki and Toyota . Stick to the asin hubs , they are better .

When I was working at a Ford dealer doing oil changes a customer requested all of his hub caps be put back on so the Ford logo was level. We just waited until it was parked outside and put them all back on the same way and hopefully that guy figured out the wheels don’t all spin the same speed.

That’s awesome ! Had the same thing at hardware store with a double light switch cover. Decora (rectangular box) on one side regular toggle on the other. Lady was all pissed and frustrated that we only had ones with the toggle on the right and none with it on the left. I just turned it “upside down” , she looked at me somewhat horrified and embarrassed, grabbed it out of my hand and bolted to the register not saying a word ! 🤣

Me and my dad took my 79 Ford F-150 ranger xlt to a repair shop for new locking hubs when I was in college and we had to tell the mechanic how to install the warn locking hubs as he had never installed hubs before. Eric, few years ago at the shop I had a similar thing happen. A guy came in with his Audi and I put four new tires on it got all done test drove it he paid his bill went out to his car came back and screaming at me calling me a hack and all sorts of other nasty names when I asked him what was wrong he said that he had jacked up his car before bringing it down and lined up all his Audi symbols so they were perfect in line with the car and when I put his tires on I had them all out of alignment he wanted me to bring it in and align all his emblems again I pretty much did the same thing you did here he didn't apologize but I never saw that customer again either.
