Those 3.7 engines are garbage, in fact all the jeep engines are garbage. Wouldn't waste my money on any jeep or Chrysler vehicle. Crap cars.

Ford owner did 6000 rpm dump. Probably has a broken axle too. You can tell by looking at the tires. Rubber boogers all over and that's confirmed.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars DARTHFEAR0N says:

At least it's good to know that the coolant is well lubricated in that jeep

I seen a similar situation at a dealership that I Used to work at after replacing a clutch in a 1986 jeep Comanche the transmission Grenaded not knowing what caused this being that there was nothing wrong with the clutch. when we went to back it out the tires turned about one turn. We removed the diff cover and found that the spider gears, pin and ring and pinion were all broke. Why we were able to push it in with no problem or noise is anybody guess

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Victor Robinson says:

Remove thermostat and flush out entire system Useing dawn dish soap ! Repete flush then replace coolent fluid witn water too see if the oil comes back !

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars noodlezdotcom says:

bad transmission cooler could do the same thing. pressure from transmission would be higher than cooling system. so it will keep pushing trans fluid into the cooling system when the car is running

    What a shitbox! 🤮

  16. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars BillFromAZ says:

Why not drain the coolant and refill it from scratch. Then see if the sludge shows up again.

  28. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Greg Betts says:

i had a 88 7.3 idi and it had the same sludge , turnd out to be the oil cooler failed . no water in the oil cause it is higher pressure than the rad … cost lots of coin to replace the cooler an flush out everything . great vid , thanks

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Thomas Middlebrooke says:

U-Joint cup locks up yoke on the diff end. Simultaneously, the shaft twists, and thrashes the transmission just before breaking off. When the trans gets yanked by the shaft, it breaks the bell housing and yeets the starter. That's my theory on the truck.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Anthony W. says:

Gotta say this one kinda bugged me a little bit. Why put a new coil on there when there's freaking oil in the coolant??! Isn't oil in the coolant more of a concern than a bad coil? I hope the customer got compensated back for that coil that was unnecessary to put in.
